Works but with a tendency to make a cyclical sputter when are certain frequencies. However, it's free, easy to use and does the job. So, worth having.
Welp it's good, but automatic 1 star when there's no option to remove ads - especially when orientation change resets it to 15khz and turns it to off. Shame because it seems like it actually works good but, greed.
Works fine, ads don't overwhelm the experience
Terrible, uninstalled... loads ads nearly every other time you cycle on and off. If you aren't paying attention, you open Google play. If you turn your phone and your screen changes, it shut off and resets the frequency back to default. Other than that, works as described.
Dogsitting my Grandpups. One of them barks at everything so I gave it a try. I just held up my phone and she stopped and tried getting away from it. Even works when she's in the yard barking if I open the door and just hold it up! I up the kHz pitch as needed. Hope it continues to work! 🤞🤞
Dog laying on the floor less than 10ft away...didnt even flinch across the frequency spectrum. I was hoping for it just to get the dogs attention so when doing an undesirable action it could be distracted. Didnt work. I assume the phone speaker is unable to produce the actual tones that would be loud and unusual to get its attention. The ads are understanable. Thanks for attempting to make the ads clear to some.
this app is great! Downloaded it just to annoy other humans. Frequency range can't get high enough on a cell phone to affect dogs but for people its fantastic. Trained my wife in 3 days. The perfect frequency for wives is between 14.9-16.1 kHz. For even better response, Bluetooth your phone to a larger speaker or home surround sound and turn volume all the way up!
The lower pitched tones are definiyely noticed and heard by my dogs, but the "high" pitched ones don't even make any of them twitch their ears in attention even with my phone's media volume all of the way up. So, partially works for my phone.
My housemate's dog would always go crazy whenever I did anything outside of my bedroom in the house. I've since used the whistle 3 times (only when the dog barks and jumps at me) and it's now conditioned not to mess with me. Note: Crank it up to the full 22.0 kHz for maximum effectiveness and turn it off as soon as the dog shuts up (in order to effectively train it).
I had heard about this app....my dog is an excessive barker and I wanted to see if it actually worked or not. My older pup(9 mos old) was laying down napping.... I wasn't sure how it worked AND some said their dog couldn't hear it, so I put it on high, and pushed the button in the middle and my pup sat straight up from her nap. That alone was verification she could hear it. I've used it once when she barked and she stopped quickly. I am a total skeptic BUT I believe this works on my shih tzu👍
To the people who say this doesn't work, try sliding the control back and forth rapidly between 8000 hz to 18000 hz. And to the people complaining about this app "stealing your info", almost every website uses Google analytics so that same info has already been collected elsewhere. At least the app tells you up front what it sends to them.
Doesn't work. My German Shepherd doesn't seem to be even remotely bothered by it. Even when my dog is calm, its reaction to the app is nothing more than a "nice try human" look at me. Tried different frequencies at max volume, no difference, might as well use my voice(for which I don't need an ad ridden app) to tell the dog to stop barking. I assume this app doesn't work because a normal dog whistle produces sound in the 23-50kHz range, where this app can't go beyond 22Khz(I assume that's just the range limit on speakers in general). Also unless you have bad hearing or are really old, even the 22kHz frequency can be heard. Moral of the story is, seeing that this and others apps all can't go above 22 kHz. just buy a dog whistle.
This app is fantastic!! I had tried everything before this app. I even purchased a whistle. At first this app wasn't loud enough for my pesky neighbor dog so I linked it to my Alexa with bluetooth. It works like a charm. Thank you for developing this app. Makes my life better without the neighbor dog barking all the time.
Privacy terms are unacceptable. I couldn't even load into the app because of it. They want more access to your information than your phone carrier has... There is no reason why a dog whistle app should need any of your personal information. 1 star until privacy wall is removed.
This app actually works! Being permanently bedbound and close to my ground floor window I was pestered by a little dog yapping every evening. Now I set this to different frequencies and it stops the barking. Thank you.
Rescued a pitsky. She was abused and shot. She's very skittish an anxious but has come around quick to us, she just barks and lunges at people around the house or strangers this has helped so much in just one day so far, we've only had a few barks as people walk by. I'm positive she will train well with it. Now hoping I can catch her digging and it helps there too. She has tore up my back yard when out 😣
Too many ads. App doesn't respond. It's just three ads, permission to sell my info, and an unclickable picture of a whistle.
This app dosen't wirk my dog was eatting ehen I used it and didn't stop. The ads also kept coming on during use and didnt allow me to turn off the whistle as the ads count fiwn from 10. Not worth the time to install or use.
Great app works like it should
Does not work! This app doesn't work the work you would expect it. It's doesn't work on dogs at all. The app just focuses on using your information for marketing and ads.
My dog is fascinated by and responsive to the whistle. The sound can be adjusted. My dogs all responded to different whistle sounds.
Not even in the right range of frequency
