Dogs Trust Emoji Keyboard

Remember
- A Dog is For Life, Not Just For Christmas.
From Dachshund to Dalmatian, Collie to Crossbreed, Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, is making sure dogs are fairly represented on the smartphone keyboard with the first ever dog emoji range. Their debut collection features 23 of the most common breeds, reflecting the amazing diversity of pet pooches living in British homes today. What’s more, each emoji has a real life counterpart in one of Dogs Trust’s network of rehoming centres searching for a new, loving home – could you be their pawfect match? In order to use any third-party emoji keyboard, Apple requires users to ""Allow Full Access” in keyboard settings. There is no way around this and is a requirement of iOS.

We want to assure you we DO NOT collect any personal information that you type. We take our users' privacy extremely seriously.

For anyone who is concerned about allowing this app full access to your keyboard, you can simply open the app and share all of the emoji directly from the app itself.

Not happy with this app. There is a difference between "emoji" and "sticker" but the mskers of this app don't know that. I wanted a small picture of a dalmation dog that I could add to a comment of a post. What this app offered was a large picture of a supposed dalmation in a status update. Does not do what the reviewd claim. Is not integrated with keyboard, just a collection of dog stickers.

I was disappointed with this app. It's a really nice concept..but after I d/l the app I quickly realized the dogs are not even "breed specific" & there are very few dogs avail. This app could be amazing.. however needs alot of work. *(my dog breeds are not even on the app..so was really of no use to me)*

Although there are instructions I didn't understand them. Have not been able to achieve anything other than an irritating floating head of the Westie. Will be uninstalling asap.

This gives only 20 or so dogs to choose from. They have a sticker and emoji option for the dogs, but they are the same either way. And the emojis are attached as photos, which does zero good for emoji games.

Doesn't actually give you emoji's. ..just smallish photos to be sent. Disappointing.

It is one of my favorite apps by far and is totally worth it!

Huge images that can only be used alone. Shame.

I'm not keeping this app bc it's not worth it. In order to use the dogs you have to go in your blank messages then send 1 dog you cnt type other wise it said something went wrong so u can o ly send the 1 dog then to send another one j have to exit out go bk in under blank message and do it again so what's the point plz fix this problem add it to the actual keyboard like emoji bc the dogs are cute and I would like to re download after the problems get worked out bit as of right now I dnt want it.

But will not load on to page. I just get a window pops up that says something went wrong.

they are not emojis they are images concept is there but not great at min.u can't fit them into conversations plus all dogs av the same expression

Rob. W. Aug 25, 2015

Would be better if you could use the dog images as an emoji rather than an image because you can't fit them into conversations. Cute images though

Great effort Dogs Trust, the idea is there and the app works well. I will be uninstalling for now, the dogs dont actually have expressions, i just look like a crazed dog lady.

Please can we choose which emoji is always on the desktop. I like the white dog but would lile to choose the Jack russell. Plus the emojis don't fit into a conversation but go separately. Be nice it it was othrreise.

Shame, "something went wrong" every time. Not emojis but stickers. Would love dogs trust to persevere.

Tar. K. Aug 26, 2015

Thought it would have the dogs with different emotions

Don't bother downloading!

I really wanted to like this app and, in doing so, show my support for this fantastic charity but I've had to uninstall it already. The user interface is so poorly considered that it's actually a bit of a chore to use these emojis at all (see other reviews for deets), but in addition, the actual style of design isn't 'fresh' enough to encourage you to want to use these instead of the standard emojis that are installed on most handsets these days anyway. Lastly, I felt the variety of breeds was lacking.

But emojis (or so I've heard) are to represent emotions (at least the face ones) yet they all have about the same expression. They aren't really emojis they're just images.

I immediately un installed this app as I couldn't get rid of the floating dog face on my screen. ANNOYING!

Go to put one in and get a message saying something went wrong try again later. Waste of time

Ann. L. Oct 14, 2015

Just kept saying oops went wrong try again. Shame was looking foward to using it.

Liz. M. Oct 18, 2015

We all feel the pain of only 2 dog emojis, & loads & loads of cats. But Dogs Trust? These aren't emojis. They're large pictures of cartoon dogs. I have to say I'm a little disappointed.

Gre. G. Sep 11, 2017

Not emojis as such, just stickers and not very integrated with messaging apps.

No Labradors, the most common and popular bread of dog

orb. May 25, 2016

I loved it. It works and i love it

Great but please could you add a Westie one? As they are one of the most popular breeds!
