All cats or dogs have a place to call home in Dokonoko (Japanese for “Where are you from?”), whether they have a human family or not.
Dokonoko is a new social network for friends of cats and dogs everywhere—a place to keep a protective eye on your own pets, your friends’ pets, and even strays with no human family at all. Share pictures, vital data, and identifying features so that the animals you love are never alone, even when they’re lost or in trouble. Cats and dogs are our companions—we want to be there for them through their cutest moments and their most vulnerable hours.We hope Dokonoko will bring together all of us who want to share the animals we love and help them when they need it.

Simple app that delivers cute animals to your phone. Sortve like a japanese pet Twitter. Mostly works in english.

Amazingly charming app that's full featured, with zero ads, no intrusive permissions, and that puts pets first. The lost pet alert is a great idea. It's just a shame more people in the US don't use this app so as to make it potentially useful in that regard. Overall, I recommend anyonewith a pet they care about to give this app a try. It's just so well thought out and charming. I'd expect nothing less from the creater of EarthBound.
This app is fantastic! Being able to follow specific animals rather than people is a genius idea. I know that I'm in the minority as an American user of this app, but I would appreciate the ability to select text in the app so that I can run it through Google Translate as I do not know Japanese and have long since forgotten how to read the katakana.
I am running Android 6.0.1 and when I select an image, it does not display on the dark grey adjustment menu. However, I can still post my photos, and I know the app was newly released, so I have no problems with a few bugs. They will get worked out. I've been excited to use this app on my phone for a while. :)
Very cute concept, but I wish it was more suitable for users in other languages. The option to translate posts would be appreciated, as would things like the Dokonoko Today page being translated.
