Dollywood - The Experience
This app will help you learn more about Dollywood, spanning 150 acres and located near the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Dollywood offers more than 40 rides and attractions, including Wild Eagle, the country’s first wing coaster, as well as Thunderhead wooden coaster and the steel thriller Mystery Mine.
You can also explore Dollywood’s Splash Country, which offers 35 acres of summertime fun for all ages. Adjacent to the theme park, Dollywood’s Splash Country water adventure park features a variety of water slides and attractions—from mild to wild.

I know that ride times are strictly estimates, but more times than not they aren't remotely accurate. 15 minutes typically means 30-40 minutes. Even without mechanical issues.
I liked having info on the rides for both parks in the app, it made it easier to know before getting there what my youngest could and could not ride due to height restrictions... Add that back and it is worth 5🌟!!!
Its a little inaccurate rides will say closed when open and say open when closed other than that it is amazing
Save space on your phone and just go straight to the web page. This app does nothing but display the park's web page, so maps or schedules have to be downloaded to view. What's the point in having the app if it can't function on its own?
I love it it lets me know what's going on at Dollywood
It's nice to have the maps but can't zoom in on the Dollywood map. Also would be nice if the areas were marked with numbers as are the paper maps so that you can find places you are looking for. Only if just the numbers were on it and you can look at the paper map to see what they are. Also, if you would show you where you are at on the map as well would be helpful. As high the price is for a ticket is and as expensive things are in the park you buy, especially when it comes to food for lunch and supper.
Seems that Dollywood is squandering a lot of opportunity. The app clones content available on the website, and doesn't provide any real interesting information. A few suggestions for you Dollywood: -add parking lot full/empty status -line status for the major rides - the ability to get showtime warnings -"save" or preregister a place in line like Disney.
There's a lot of useful information, but the map is not interactive, so if you can't find where you are on the map, you can't really navigate to where you want to go. You can also only zoom in a limited amount. If they would fix this, I would up my rating.
The only thing that worked was the major ride wait times WHEN the operators updated it timely and they were down too much. NO PROMISED PARK WI-FI either. Middle of June, come on.
Ride wait times are double what shows in app. Surcharge to buy ticket in app. No showtimes. You can do better Dolly
Since you up graded the app. There is no place to see the season pass prices. Out that back and it will be s good app again
The GPS on their map is horribly inaccurate and I couldn't navigate anywhere.
This was one of the better themepark apps when it was released.. Now apps from parks like Disney and Six Flags are much much better.. Dollywood needs to work on this app some
Awesome park has everything available for young and old. Rides, games and live entertainment throughout all day
Dollywood vacation
What it shows on the main screen..mine does not. It will not let me view rides and such. Mine has like a few icons on the home page. That's it. They include things such as a map.
I can not get this app to work. It will not go into the maps....etc
Good app, pretty thorough. My one complaint, and I say this because I have the Disney World app, is the posted ride times next to the ride's name and description. I know DW are fantastic at keeping their capacity going, bit it's nice to have.
Our entire family both Dollywood and Splash Country passes last year and this year. We love both parks but go to Dollywood more often. The parks are ran very well and the staff is so curteous. From the biggest 54 yo child to the youngest grand baby there is always fun to be had. We go about every three to four weeks during the summer and can't wait to go this fall and during Christmas.
I can use it. It is rudimentary but ok. Would be nice to update with the weekly show schedule. A notify Dolly is here would be fun also. Serriously a "get emergency help" button might be useful.
There just isn't enough good info on this app. It needs a much better map and wait times for rides etc.
The map won't zoom in and the design is crap.
There's no additional information that you get from using the app. Wait times for rides and attractions would be wonderful to have on there.
Its great but online saying its a sale that its only $10 on the app says nothing about it .
Could not move map up close to see or read labeling. Not helpful at all.
Love the app but stuff is not wanting to come up always says Dollywood app has stopped working!! Please fix
Great app with maps and schedules but since there is no mobile service or guest wifi, it is completely useless. I would suggest a pre-download mode or something.
This is one of my favorite parks & I love how everything about it is now at the palms of your hands(:
The map isn't interactive, nor does it really tell you where anything useful is. Save the space on your phone and just get a paper map.
