For best results, it is important to hold the camera horizontally over the dominoes. It is also important to play on a solid-colored surface like a wood table or a solid tablecloth.

Works great! We use it to add up our Mexican train score and it is very accurate and a huge time saver (you try counting 160 dots by hand lol)
Does exactly what it should, thanks for providing a free simplified demo, if we end up playing dominos more frequently will download full version.
This app is not doing what it says. Doesn't even have the option for the camera. I got a refund a minute after I purchased it.

We use double-fifteen dominos, with multi-colored dots, on a clear glass table...and with a little care (framing up the dominos with not much table) it still works beautifully. Will be getting the full version for score keeping. Love it.
Very useful, but as my dominos have a metal nub in the middle, the app counts it as a dot. This could be solved if the app didn't count dots smaller than all the others (my domino's dots are all the same size). Other dominos sets might have different sized dots so there could be a toggle for that in settings.
Works great in good lighting but not when u play in low light. Somehow camera looks very low light compared to the actual camera app. Probably take picture, change contrast then count?

This app was 2 dots off every time. Maybe it is my phone G4 ************** Strike that, found my problem with help from the developer! It got me thinking why was it always 2 dots high every time? I looked closely at the picture displayed and found it was picking up 2 marks on my table and counting them as dots. You need to be aware of the background you are shooting on, a quick fix for me was to have a piece of dark paper handy, put the dominoes on it and it works perfectly every time! Kudos for the Dev for caring.
Downloaded several times, crashes after you take a photo of the dominoes every time. Didn't work once. Galaxy S4
love this app but recommend adding a function to turn on the flash. sometimes it has a hard time finding all the pips when its slightly dark.

So easy. Mexican Train is a pain to count up. This one actually works unlike others i tried that skipped dots or added things not dots. Pop up every so often but not a nuisance, especially for free.
