DominoEdu - Language Learning Made Easy

5 star content. The app has gotten way better over the last 6 months or so. Still some errors here and there and still has a hard time buffering (I have no problem with other content like YouTube, etc. on the same WiFi or cell data). A couple times when repeating the videos and quizzes, they seemed to be out of order. It's a 3 star app with 5 star conent and you might be flustered at times, but if you want to learn Chinese, this is the best, most affordable way. Thanks Felix and team!

I want to like this app and hope it improves, because I do love DominoChinese and think their courses are great. I am coming from the Udemy courses, which I loved, and unfortunately their standalone app is almost unusable and crashes regularly. The videos stop playing, there is no scroll through, so you can only rewind in small chunks, and it doesn't retain my quiz scores. Mobile browser (chrome s9+) was a little less frustrating so I will return to that if the app continues to be buggy.

The app started out very buggy but it's constantly being improved. With the latest updates there are tons of new and useful features however they are not all working yet. When you click on your level, the app crashes and when you wish to select a lesson it just shows the continue learning button on the video which then redirects you to the previous video that you completed.

Content is great, maybe a bit too elaborative at times for me but still better than anything else out there. App is trash tho. Video doesn't get recognized as such which means the screen turns of or needs to be constantly touched. Not optimated for the notch. Full picture mode is reversed so I have to lock rotation if I want to lock at it properly. If it weren't for that I'd rate it a solid 5/5. With sympathy it's 4/5. But actual utility of this app is 2/5 given these restrictions. Glad there is a website.

I have not even tried the app yet, because when I try to register with Facebook, it says there's a field input error, and that there's already an account with this email address. I don't recall ever registering before. ETA: I did a little dance around the website and finally got it to work that way. Will update rating after I see what I think.

Absolutely love this app, I’m learning German and it’s so helpful and really goes into detail with everything. P.S. when doing speech lessons a feature to slow down what they are saying would be amazing. To understand it better and to make sure that you are pronouncing the words correctly.

I love the COURSE with all my heart, but my goodness, this app is horrendous! Tried to download some videos and had problems(download just pausing and making me restart the app and everything). Tried to watch the videos I managed to download and several of them were corrupted. Tried to watch online and the videos started an eternal buffering state... I love your content, Felix and 安, but your servers are awful (at the computer I had buffering problems too) and the IT members seem to be worse

This used to work, but when I go to log in with Facebook it says "resource not found." OK, well, so I go to reset password... then it tells me password reset failed to send! Disappointing. Was always a kind of bare bones app, but the content was good. Is this app abandoned? Is there a new one? EDIT: upping to 3 because I'm in, again. I reset my password on the website, still couldn't log in on the app. Then I cleared the app data, still couldn't log in. Finally uninstalled, reinstalled. Success

subscription got wasted, the video keeps on buffering and loading and does not play at all. to watch 2 minute video it takes half hour of buffering with 4G net. there is no technical support or option to watch video on low quality. Bad video streaming. please address the concern or provide some alternate solution. I wish to learn with you.

The problems have been (mostly) fixed, although a lot of the time the content won't load :( My only complaint is with this new version of the app, there's no way to browse lessons, to review specific material, say, lesson 4 of chapter 1, course 1, you have to do a number of lesson mastery tests on knowledge you already know! It's frustrating and means rather than reviewing the content I want, I'm reviewing things I know Regardless, the content is, as always, fantastic! Just a small nitpick :)

This is well structured and well paced course that focuses on real life dialogue. As a complete beginner in Spanish it has, so far, kept me interested and motivated to keep on learning. No easy feat for a language course!

This app is comprehensive, informative and relevant. I’ve been revising my rusty Spanish on my own and have found DominoEdu SO helpful. The instant correction is brilliant too, helping the student identify and rectify mistakes immediately. Highly recommend this app. Great value, whether to study a language from scratch or to revise one learned earlier.

Hello, resources is very good for what for paying , however, the application still crashes when selecting an course or level. The application will occasionally crash when continuing your progress. This is made me continue using the web version only.

This is by far the best Chinese learning resource. Hands down. I've been studying Chinese on and off for a few years, and I've tried all the well-known and little-known courses, apps, and resouces. I was never able to pick up and understand Chinese at this speed and depth before Domino Chinese. Definitely check them out!

One of best Chinese courses I've ever tried (and I tried dozens). The quality of the application is improving with time but still needs some polishing. Highly recommended.

Content is great. But suddenly the app is not allowing me to login or to even reset my password. The website is also not loading. Edit: Server update has finally happened. It's working now.

I love the way the lessons are set out and the word bank allows you to easily revise the words you have previously learnt. Totally recommend this app!

The payment for monthly subscription has already been deducted from my bank account and ive received the receipt of payment from google play but on my app account it says that im not subscribed and now i cant view any of the resources anymore despite paying for mt second month of subscription.

Worst. I had paid subscription amount but it's showing I doesn't. Can't able to connect them. It's annoying.. Hi I already sent a complaint.

Just a poorly designed app, subscribed and then tells me to subscribe, so had to cancel, 2021 a app should not be this hard to use, how do I get my money refunded, inexcusable how this is operated!!!!! Unprofessional and can only assume unethical

Helps me learn how to speak and use characters naturally. The pay what you want is great for me considering I'm a university student.

DominoEdu has always been a great learning tool & the new stories are an awesome addition! So happy with the app & would recommend to anyone learning a new language

I normally use the website but today it would not open at all. The app is always updated so i am not sure what else it could be. Can yall please fix this!!!

This is such a great way to learn Chinese. The app can be a little rough but the content is amazing.
