Don't Look Back

I have tried playing this again on a different phone and it is kinda playable? The jump button is still off screen so you have to tap around of the edge of the screen to try to jump (which usually doesn't work out) so I can't really get that far. The buttons in general just need to be adjusted since a lot of other people are having issues with the buttons in specific.

Hmm. A great story . check. Mind boggling ending. check. Excellent difficulty level. check. A bit of bad controls. check. To the developer, This is going down as one of the best retro games of my life. It takes a long while to get a gem like this, and to play one is a gift in itself.Absolutely loved the story, still trying to figure out the paradox, which i am a fan of, and also write of. The controls, could have been a bit better,by which i mean just a bit bigger buttons and optimally spaced. Thanks again to the developer for such a wonderful game. Unfortunately there's no option to fit the game to screen so the jump button is majorly cut off and I can only press it without having to take my attention off the screen about 10% of the time. Which doesn't work out too well when trying to avoid the very first enemy I can't seem to get past because of this issue. I hope that you might consider even having a default size, as even if it was smaller than the screen it would still be playable, because this seems like an interesting game.

I literally can only play the game for all of 10s before getting to a ledge where I'm told to press a jump key that doesn't exist. At first that it was intentional since the name is "don't look back" I thought I was supposed to trun around and, well, look back. But nope. Might just be my phone, but essential game play controls are missing.

It seems like the action buttons are being rendered off-screen and are inaccessible on some newer devices. I tried all 4 screen modes (16:9, 16.7:9, original, and full screen (19.5:9)). Only full screen showed a sliver of the jump button, which allowed me to progress a little. I realize it's an older game and unlikely to be updated.

Actually I'm also complaining about the Jump Button and Controls! They're too Small and the Jump Button was Half Beside the screen which I can't press, and I also can't even pass the Lake ;-; like Bruh.... Tho I did pass the Snake, Bats, and Spider... So i'll rate it 3.. But Pls C'mon fix the controls •~•. Also Hope Three Stars is fine for ya 😕

Pretty much unplayable as the buttons are too small and too close together. it feels like random chance if I try to change between jumping and shooting as is needed mere moments into the game. I'll either hit the wrong button or miss them completely. The button size should be double what it is to be usable imo.

The was an incredible flash game back in the day we would play constantly in class, but it really really struggles with those tiny mobile controls. I'd definitely change my review if they were updated (I'd pay for this game too, just make it playable please!)

Definitely worth a while (5-15min). As a retro game it brings some nostalgia and the difficulty is average, the game conveniently respawns you to the last safe area you stood on (except for bosses). You may find small buttons annoying and all but they are easy to get used to.

I love this game and have played the original hundreds of times and yet have only just discovered that its on mobile. So disappointing that the controls are too small to really play. Particularly the left and right buttons. I know this will never be patched but hey. Still have the pc version.

The jump button dose work it's just with some levels you have to press the jump or the walk first and not at the same time it was like that for the PC version to but still love the game my whole childhood here

A bit challenging to master, but not too difficult. Once you figure out the weakness & strategy for each boss fight, it gets pretty simple. And the ending was crushingly somber & poignant, definitely not what I expected from such a lo-fi game. I loved it. Can't recommend it enough.

I want to like the game. But the control buttons are to small on my device to play, making game play just about impossible. In the few short screens, game play requires fast & accurate response; small controls make that impossible.

I expected this game to be good but it turned out very bad reason number1 is the buttons are very small and I can barely move it also doesn't let me move and reason number 2 you make some the levels almost impossible and I once got stuck in one of the levels for about 20 minutes I mean if I was the game developer I would make the buttons bigger and not that hard levels you know what I'm sayin?

I didn't play the game that far, as its not the type of game I like, but when I played it was pretty good. I saw other reviews saying buttons were too close together. I'm used to that but I agree that they should be farther apart, especially if some of the levels are going to be fast and a bit hectic.

Use a bluetooth controller, the on screen controls are too small to use reliably but a controller worked great. It's a bit tricky, but it was a fun game overall.

the buttons are very small, and the gameplay is practically overwhelming/over stimulating for me, personally. i played for about 50 seconds or so and already uninstalled the game because of how overwhelming it had already gotten.

I had this game on my old ipod before so I know I love it but it's unplayable on my phone. I have no button to jump so I can't even get past the second scree. The only reason I gave it a 3 is because I know it's a fun game normally and because if you connect a controller it still works

That was a great experience. Though difficult, it's not impossible. I beat the game in 20 ish minutes. If you're looking for a quick retro platformer fix, this has you covered.

Im sorry. It had so much potential but it just needs to be worked on heavily. There was no jump button, i guess for Android users, its invisible andniphone users its cut off. Once i got the shoot button, it really disappeared and i could nonlonger jump. I did go back to shoot the snake for fun though.

An arcade platformer game that would be great if it would have bigger buttons for movement and widescreen support.

man it's really laggy. first, the resolution is awful. second, the jump button wouldn't even appear on the screen! 10 seconds in, and it's already boring.

Unplayable as the buttons are incredibly small. Couldn't find a menu to change the controls. Gave up after 30 seconds

Very hard to play. The buttons are so small that trying to press them is difficult since you are most likely not gonna have any response due to how small it is. My hands are sore trying to play this game. Even a very cheap game has more better controls than this.

the game is good ,the ending really blew my mind but the control's are a bit outdated but when you get the hang of it is is great I loved this

Heard it was a good game, but like others I was unable to play on my Pixel 3a because the jump button was off screen. It's such a shame because there's lots of screen space that could be used

I played this game and beat it when it was in Flash, easily. Took me about an hour. Playing on mobile is near impossible without a controller. This game absolutely must be played with buttons of some kind or you'll hate it.
