Don't Pause was designed to keep your device from interrupting you when you are listening to music. If you are listening to music through your android phone and you get a text message or email, by default, Android pauses your music and plays the notification. Don't Pause fills in here. Don't Pause will run continuously once you start it and when you are playing music it automatically puts your notifications on vibrate. After you finish your music, Don't Pause automatically changes your setting back to the normal ringer. This app is similar to "Shush!" but I have taken it one step further. Instead of making you configure the app yourself, I have done the work for you. Go ahead and download Don't Pause and start it up. That is all you have to do to keep your mobile music uninterrupted.

I love not having loud text tones etc. Interrupting my music. This app is great! Update: I bought the pro version then upgraded phones. I've contacted the developer like he instructs but a week later no response and I still don't have my pro version back. It won't break the bank but it's the principle yanno? I'm disappointed.
What is going on with this app? I bought my Note 8 last week and this app is been nothing but problems. Every time I scroll on Facebook or Instagram and I hit a video my phone vibrates and plays a ping sound even when I have my phone on silent. You gotta fix this. I bring up Don't Pause and stop it but it keeps turning back on. I've had this app for 3 years on my Note 5 with no issues. Just on my Note 8.
Greatly Appreciated, & Apparent Necessity, Should Be Standard Starter App For ALL In Use Of ANDROID Series Of P.D.A.'s. Job Well Done. (A bit pushy with the requested review requirement, perhaps. It stopped initiatialization to force this out of me. I only hope service accessibility continues, after this...😓).
Does exactly what it's supposed to. I got this because I found notification sounds were constantly returning out YouTube videos and I was missing what was being said abs having to go back. This has solved the problem. Only problem is that it doesn't auto run on startup.
UPDATE: Does exactly what it says it does. However, it doesn't turn notifications back up, so once you're done listening to music you have to remember to go back in the settings. I've missed many a text or email notification.
Sir I'm facing this problem on my oneplus 3, whenever I play and sound as the app works it changes the Ringer to vibration mode then it stays in vibration mode even my phone is I ideal mode and not playing any sound. Plz fix this asap or replay how to fix this issue. Excellent app btw.
Worked Great before Android 7.0 Update. No More...Now the widgets (all 3) only work for about 15 minutes and they become unresponsive. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, deleted widget and put it back (same thing), powered off and on the phone, searched Google for a solution, emailed the contact below and still not working. Very disappointing because I love the app. Android failed by not making this an option in the phone besides muting volume.
A great app to do what it does, except for one problem: the widget on my home screen stops working after some time. I tap it, and nothing happens. After deleting it from the home screen and putting it back again, it works fine for a few days. Xperia Z1 Compact, Android 5.1.
Works great most of time. I use it to read and study in my off time. It seems to have trouble with some system level notifications but that's really rare. Great work I'm going to run a few more test then donate.
It works great about 90% of the time but I do still get the pause now and then. Overall it really does help
Doesn't always work. Youtube keeps pausing so I got this app. It has decreased but still pauses now and then
I thought this app would help with the playback issue I am having, while using audio out music player keeps pausing...
I bought the pro version. It works, but not consistently. When using Google Play Music it won't allow the display in my S6 to automatically turn off so unless I turn off the display manually I will stay on, draining my battery. Please fix!! I am going to have to either uninstall it it manually start the service when I want to use it, but I will need to keep an eye on the display being on too long.
Works as advertised with my Note 4 but I don't care for the icon always on in my notification bar. Would like to have an option to hide.
Exactly what I was looking for. I just wish Google would let me get the pro version... developer needs to contact Google about their wallet
I turned this on, then my music in Apple Music, turns right off, or it plays like it has headphones on. Fix it, please.
Plain, simple and works. I hated it when Spotify would cut out because of texts, this fixed it.
Brilliant app! Pay the 86p and get pro, it auto starts with headphones or Bluetooth, no messing about, just blocks those annoying WhatsApp notifications etc during music then let's them through when the music if off. Exactly what I was looking for. Best 86p I've ever spent.
I'm not able to review this app because it won't allow me to use it. When I hit the play button the rate this app dialog box appears.
When I first installed it, it worked and I was thrilled. Then a few hours later it stopped working and hasn't worked since. I've tried a resetting the phone and reinstalling to no avail.
Got this app because opening certain apps makes the music pause and there's absolutely no way around it. I start the service, turn on the music, go to the app that pauses my music and it still does it. Literally no point to get this app.
Used to work ok. Purchased the premium version and tried to restore purchases but it says I need to pay again. Also it doesn't work anymore after a factory reset
Prevents the music from stopping when you get a message but it will vibrate so you're still aware that you've received a message. Perfect!
Wow, wow no words can describe how happy I was after installing and testing this app on my One Plus One. Especially when you are on FB and activate this app, then your likes and share sounds get muted and won't interrupt or interfere with the music player. So kudos to this Dev for this amazing app....
