Don't Touch The Spikes

This used to be a 5 star rating, until you unlocked all of the birds and added a frick ton of adds. There are also moments where the bird won't jump even when I tap the screen and the next second later my bird will do extra jumps, killing it. There will also be moments when the bird will suddenly plummet to the bottom and die, even if I'm still tapping the screen. There's also the fact that the "skip" option on the ads vanishes before I can tap on it.

Really like this game. It's very simple, as a concept, but can get pretty intense later on. Unfortunately, the latest update has unlocked all the skins, and severely cut down on the total number of skins altogether. Why?... Those were a pretty big motivator for me, and gave me a sense of progression that made me want to play again and again. I hope that this update gets reverted, so I can get my progress back.

This game used to be amazing, but recently the main premise of the game was removed which was to unlock birds with the resources you collect. Why would you ever think that was a good idea? Furthermore we've not seen any new challenges being added for a very long time. I paid for no-ads years ago, but from other reviews it seems that the ads have gotten a lot worse recently. Definitely not worth a download any longer in my opinion.

The amount of ads are apaulling. And especially how something always pops up on my screen every 5mins and ends up messing up my game play. Especially how ridiculous the spaces in between the spikes can get. Not to mention, how most of the unlockable birds are completely gone, and the ones that are still there, they're not even unlockable! This is horrific considering i used to play this all the time when i was younger and i thought this would bring back memories. Please fix this, Carla

I used to love this game on my old phone, and frankly, I was really good at it and had a very high score. But on my new phone, it seems that some of my taps don't register, making me fall into the spikes. It's REALLY frustrating, considering I know I can score really high if not for this issue. It makes me really sad. The controls are more responsive on an older phone than a newer one.

Bugs: - Back button on Challenges page does not take you back to main menu. - When the Google Play notification pops up, a brief moment of unresponsiveness from the game occurs, even in the middle of playing. Overall, better than most simple mobile games, as there is more to do besides the base game. Can become repetitive, but that's the point of these types of games. Nice aesthetics but these two bugs are annoying.

Game is playable and fun, but I'm rating it low because of HOW MANY ADS THERE ARE. You instantly get an ad when booting up the game, ads often appear at the bottom (though that's the least annoying type), and most of all you get an ad basically EVERY THREE GAMES. If you've played this then you know how often you start over. This type of game RELIES on repetition and starting over, making those ads basically constant. Very frustrating.

Used to be an excellent game but there are several issues. The touch alignment is off, it doesn't hit the buttons that it should. Potentially not designed for larger screens. Also the Google Play integration fails with a network error. Also i bought the no ads version and it won't restore the purchase. Disappointed that the developer isn't maintaining something I paid for.

I couldn't figure out how to edit my previous review, but I figured out if you set the "motion smoothness" to "standard" it keeps the phone at 60 fps and makes the speed of the game return to normal! Hope this helps anyone who's little birds are glitching around the screen and going too fast! Now to earn candies and unlock more birdies! :-D

I've been waiting on an update for years. More birds, more challenges, something to do with the thousands of candies ive stocked up on over time. But this? This is garbage. Add more birds and fix your ad placement, it's difficult to keep playing for both physical and psychological reasons as it is.

It is an simple but addictive game, which is amazing. However, for such a simple game the ads are all over the place and very intrusive. Sometimes multiple adds in a row between games which takes out all the fun. You can turn off internet to remove the ads.

I'm very sad that I have to lower the rating on the app. The new update is TERRIBLE! First, the formula has been changed and the bird is so much heavier. Second, all the birds are available and that defeats the purpose of the candy and the other currencies so that's completely pointless now. Third, the game contains adds now. The only fine thing coming with this update is the hard mode and even that isn't something the game needed. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Game was perfect before last update. The hard mode is a great new edition, but every other change was incredibly stupid. I can not understand how grown men and women came to the decision to put adds in the middle of the game, instead of after you die, that really ruins the whole place of the game. They unlocked all of the birds, and now the candies, gems, and diamonds are useless, and there's really no use leveling up your park. Mostly horrible changes to the game have been made. What the heck!!

This game used to be one of my favourites. It was so fun and challenging, making you want to play all the time to get candies so you can unlock all the different birds. Now it's gone. The creators have made it so that all the birds are unlocked, and they've also deleted a lot of the birds alongside that. The game used to be fun when you would save up to get a bird. There are forced ads that randomly pop up, it's annoying and not needed. No point playing now. Great game successfully ruined. Cool!

I really liked this game. It was simple, but good. Now we got every skin unlocked, I don't know why. It was motivating for me. One big issue is the ads, it's not so annoying (I just disabled my wifi). One another problem with the update is the fact that I can't mute the game?! I usually played it in the bus with music and the sounds were annoying. Now I can't mute it.

It's a good game. If you want to kill time fast get this game. Thing is, there are a lot of ads. The ads are so annoying. It's like you play 2 times and then an ad. Would be appreciated if there weren't so many ads. I understand its to get money but this many ads aren't necessary :/

I've had this game downloaded for literally YEARS. Probably shortly after release. It used to be ad-free and was really relaxing and slightly addicting. I'm officially uninstalling this game due to the unbearable number of ads being shown and also, the speed of the bird has been increased and in my opinion is too quick and no longer fun. This game used to be 5 stars for me and is now in the negatives, if i had the option.

Ads have truly ruined games for me. Everytime I try to play the game, at the start I start tapping, then an ad pops up as I'm playing the game! So I keep taping the ad, which it will take me to Google play! Absolutely horrible. Doesn't even deserve one star.

nice game, it's fun and just what you need if you're looking for a response based game. there are ads after each play but it's a banner ad with a large X that takes only part of the screen so it doesn't take away the flow from the game. wish they would add more challanges though

The amount of adverts just ruins the whole experience. This is supposed to be a quick and intuitive game, as I remember it from years ago, that is now blighted by annoying pop up ads that you are forced to watch every 2 minutes and last at least 30 seconds.

What the heck have they done to this game? For some reason they have sped up the game by 300% and then placed an ad every 5 seconds, whether or not you're in the middle of a round. Oh and then they don't allow you to click off the ad. Not that you'd want to continue playing the game. I suggest you search for nostalgia elsewhere.

I get tired of games real quick but this is a game I always go back to although its gameplay is pretty normal. It is quite addicting. I do hope the developers would update it to make it compatible with later versions of android. I can still play it on my s10 but it lags sometimes and doesnt respond when i tap.

So... The game didn't work. For some reason: everything was French, the play button was duplicated 4 times in a vertical row, I got ads right when I loaded the game, I died in 0 seconds, there were no spikes, and the options didn't exist. The game broke faster than Chernobyl. That's why my final rating is a nuclear zone / 10

I used to love this game and would play it obsessively, but ever since the company that made the game either rebranded or got bought, they've driven the game into the ground, the game is riddled with ads placed so that you're forced to tap on them before you have time to react, as well as longer video ads that you have to watch in between attempts, I'm really disappointed that my favorite game has been ruined this way.

The recent update kinda ruined the experience for me. The ads weren't intrusive before this update..but now they are and that's frustrating especially while playing. It cheapens the game a lot and not only that they also magnified the whole interface and personally I don't like it. All in all I'm disappointed

This was my number one game next to Chuzzle but now it stinks since I just updated. Buying birds by earning candies and crystals creates a challenge that was enjoyable and that has been taken away. I didn't realize the birds were unlocked until after I purchased the ad free version. Now, a lot of birds that I bought are gone. Grrr! I mean, what the heck???? Terrible update. I'll keep it installed and hopefully the creators will put my birds back.
