Doodle Alchemy

Same old element combining game. Except that the elements get reorganized if you exit and re-enter the game (they appear in the order you discover them while you play, then get reshuffled into the game's preferred order if you exit; it makes methodical play very difficult unless you do it all at once). And the ads are over-the-top intrusive. Way too obnoxious and aggressive. It's a dollar to remove them, but the game isn't worth a dollar to me, so bye.

Too many ads and duplicating other combination games. Guess there is only so many ways you can make this kind of game. Did I already say there are too many ads? There is an ad when opening the app, and ad when making a new element, an ad after selecting 10 element icons. The game is straightforward, just the same as other doodles and only 300ish elements. By the way, there are sooooo many ads!

The game was set up in a way I liked, but often the combinations to make different elements made little sense or had far better alternatives. Ex: Grapes instead of being vine+fruit or vine+berries was wood+earth. Sure it works vaguely, but that sort of counterintuitive way of getting the answers made the game unenjoyable. You really had to use hints to find some. Also, some of the elements were too specific/referential when basic ones were missing. Ex: catdog-yes like the cartoon- but no lion???

This game is absolutely amazing! I could play it for hours. Beautiful graphics and sounds. Lots of details and it runs very smoothly. It's actually challenging (unlike other games where you just mix random stuff together and it make something unrelated). And there was not a single add. 10\10! I recommend if you're looking for a alchemy game install this one!

I literally just started the game... I made 4 things so far. I'm only doing this 3 star (which is the most average score I can give it) at the moment because it will give 3 hints if I do. For future refrence, many people don't like having to leave a rating after the first few minutes of gameplay, when most people are still figuring out if they like the game to keep going, or just after the tutorial wjere they aren't being railroaded and the game truely begins

i dont normally do reviews but the game is unplayable adds happen every 4 or five clicks. you need to mix elements. so you click one and then something to mix with. do it twice and theres an add. it never ends. it doesnt let up.. and theyre at the bottom of the screen too. Yes.. adds at the side, adds at the bottom, and one pops right in your face every 4 or 5 clicks. not fun. games destroyed.

It's actually a decent game, but every new creation results in getting blasted with another full-screen, 5 second ad countdown. Completely pulls you out of the game. This type of game promotes deep thought and concentration, but this one's so overblown with ads, you can't really do either. Kinda bummed.

Wasn't bad, but a lot of ads (I barely played 5 minutes and had 3 ads plus the permenant banner at the bottom of the screen). I personally prefer to keep an element on the board and I wish there was a way to reuse the same element. I personally couldn't play with this settup.

The ads are ridiculous! You make 3 successful matches and are forced to watch minimum of 5 seconds of an ad, and that's if your lucky to get one that has a large enough close button, otherwise you'll be redirected to the play store to download whatever the ad was about if you miss the outrageously small close or skip button.

It was cool but I wasn't a huge fan of how the hints worked. They weren't so much hints as they were answers. There were a lot of times I used a hint just to find out it was a combo I already did but didn't work. I do like the fact you can't repeat combos that way you don't go in circles. It would be helpful to have a record of combos that way you can see what you've done and get an idea of what to do next. Some combos didn't make sense at all and ones that would make sense don't work.

Before I even had a chance to play the game I was bombarded with TWO ads. One right after I turned off vibration from the options menu and then one when I pressed the play button. That is absolutely ridiculous! Even when exiting the game an ad came up before the game closed down. Needless to say, uninstalled!!

Ads everywhere, at every turn. The book layout is annoying too, having to go back and forth between pages. Annoying instead of relaxing.

I think the game is really fun and to some extent even addictive! But, some of the combinations just don't make sense. Just I would like if the creators made more accurate combinations to real life, man made or even traditional objects. For example, to make Germany you need to combine country and a volksvagen beetle, but I think it should be country and schnitzel or even country and cuckoo clock.

The first thing that happened as soon as I opened the app was a full screen ad with sound. I let it play, there's a huge banner ad at the bottom of the game the whole time, and I had ads for simply popping up all the time, this game can go uninstall itself

It's okay but I am not fond of the layout. Why can't the work area be more towards the center of the page...or something. And there is an ad popping up after just about every combination I make. Good game but needs less ads and better layout.

The game was pretty fun at first, but then ads started to come and I stopped having fun. The ads were too much and prevented you from doing almost anything. Almost everytime I get a combination right, I get an ad. It's very annoying

I was enjoying this, but got really stuck and had to look up a cheat. I didn't seem to be getting results with the most obvious combinations. Turns out that Energy + Fire doesn't work for me, neither does Energy + Storm. I don't know how many more don't work because I don't want to spoil the game for myself by reading through the entire cheat list. I'm playing on a Samsung A40. Hope you can fix this and let me know? Literally two ads before I got to try the game. That's excessive. Pretend it isn't, if you like. I get it, you make your money somehow, but two ads within 30 seconds sent merely navigating the opening splash screen. Nah.

Many of the combinations make zero sense. You clearly see that they were made by someone with not a lot of knowledge. Picking the elements is super slow and it makes the whole process very rage inducing. Disinstalled after 30 minutes👍

Ads are EXTREMELY intrusive. They take away from the game. Having an ad every so often wouldn't be too bad but they have them after every match. Far too many adds. Deleted the game. If they they set aside the greed just a little, they would have a good game that I imagine people would be willing to actually pay for.

The UI is kinda low quality, the animation that makes new elements is too long, and also, although i haven't played long enough to know, i don't think it's gonna give you any modern results like a computer or a car.

Great game but...iwill NEVER play again. NEVER. Ads. Ads. Everywhere. 2 or 3 regular turns then an ad. Congratulations Doodle Alchemy geniuses you completely rendered a terrific game unplayable. We get you want some return for your hard work but you need to reassess the balance of reasonable versus greed.

its fun for a little but when you get stuck and look things up, for example clay, the combinations online dont work and its frustrating. soon after everything gets complicated and the stuff you look up doesn't work then the game is just taking up space on your phone

I wish there was a master list of the elements you're trying to create. That way you could have some direction to go in when you feel stuck, instead of having to brute force it. Otherwise I like the game, definitely interesting and nice to look at.

Way too many ads. Literally an ad when opening the game for the first time. Then ads every 15 seconds or so. Then trying to sell coins every 60 seconds.... Honestly just too much.

I love the graphics and how intuitive and calm the game is. It can be a bit annoying when you cant get the element but you try something else and find something else.

I can tolerate the 5 second ads considering most games have 15 or 30 second ads, and the graphics are nice. But most of the combinations make no sense. Like mixing "life" and "stone" to make an egg....... 🤔
