Doodle: Easy Scheduling

Why did you nuke a perfectly good app before its very questionable replacement is ready? The web interface on mobile (forced upon us) is almost unusable, particularly the time calendar selection. The original app looked so simple and efficient! Only the table could have used a bit of work, but it was still awesome. R.I.P. Edit: just please ROLL BACK the previous iteration at least, while you work on the new one. It needs a lot of work still. Good luck.

Very horrible Version, we don't understand et, there are no colour codes, and once you created a poll you you can't find it anymore. It opens Internet pages (what's the meaning of downloading an app then?). You better get back the older version, it was efficient, we could see results in lists or calendars, it was easy to scroll and swap

What the hell? The new update removes 70% of the functionality? I can't even create an event in it. And it seems I can't create an event WITH this app at all (opening web browser sends me to app, which sends me back, and again, again...). Viewing existing events is also super impractical because you can only display a few availabilities at a time...

After the recent update the app is basically unusable. Can't create a poll (it leads you to the website instead), problem seeing other people's choices on your poll and you can't change anything in the app (your own choices or edit polls). The website is also very unusable on phone as you can't see the whole page (scrolling or zooming doesn't work) to see what people have voted. This was once a useful app to make plans.

Used to be a really useful app for scheduling meetings and was really easy to use. Now it takes you to a website and is no longer intuitive. In fact I found it almost impossible to send out a poll to select a date for a meeting. It's not worth the hassle now. I'm just going to send out my own emails with a list of dates. Can't understand why Doodle would trash something that previously worked well.

When I first downloaded the app, everything went well. It was easy for people to respond, and our scheduling improved a lot. Despite the little formatting issues, easily a 4 out of 5. But after the most recent update, I can't access any of the polls I've created in the last 4 months, notably the ongoing poll of an event in April. Whatever that update did changed the entire format and it might be an improvement (definitely looks more official), but the loss of my current work is annoying.

Sorry, no stars! The app which has been useful for many users, free as well as paid for, has gone backwards. And without warning! Sure, once one figures it out, you can vote or change your vote, but...you can no longer change or correct your name. The user interface is more confusing. There are too many differences between the app version and the website. Please, developer...offer an explanation as to why these changes were made. What are the actual improvements, other than making the app more confusing to use and less useful?

The UI has been changed and is now unusable. Previously, I was able to access "table view" on my phone and scroll quickly through possible alternative dates for meetings. Now it will only show poll results in one format which is slow to load and glitchy. It keeps jumping back to "sort by votes" when I want to view by date order. What was a very useful scheduling tool is now useless to me.

Wow. Used to be quick and easy to use. Then someone got the bright idea to completely change the entire experience with the latest (03-04-22) update and made it absolutely terrible. Was this made by a grade school app development class? Prob not because I think they could produce a better experience than this trash. Whoever came up with this idea should find a different career because app development isn't their strongest skill... Sad, it was great but I will delete and find something else.

Yikes! I laugh, but also cry inside when apps try to fix something that isn't broken. I just opened this up again to make a quick poll. It went from quick, easy, and intuitive to use to clunky, subscription-model, and time consuming. I used to schedule game nights with friends or meetings with colleagues all the time. Now I suppose I'll be looking for another application. You had something so great. Why did you need to change it to be bad?

The newest version is absolute garbage. 1-You're pushed the premium version at every opening of the app. 2-Mostly every feature doesn't work in the app: you're redirected to the website, where you need to log in again. 3-Your scheduled and past events do not show in the app: you need to switch tabs and come back for future events to show up, but no such luck for past events. 4-events planning is not Mobile friendly. Not sure what they did, but I wish I could roll back.

Latest version of the app isn't an app anymore; everything sends you to their website. Also, even worse, I can't see any way to make a poll of arbitrary options, just specific dates. An entire aspect of the service, and the only one I used, is apparently no longer present. Renders the entire app utterly useless to me.

The previous version was perfect, maybe some UI updates were needed but this overhaul has made the entire user experience clunky and unintuitive. Why the need to reroute to a website for all the polls. Now i need to find a different option because all i wanted was an easy to use scheduling app to find when people were free for things. This is now just frustrating and useless.

Sadly the latest update for the app made it significantly worse. Some of the features I really enjoyed got removed, half of the remaining ones now only work in a browser window that opens up (often with another login you have to do), the new design is confusing and requires more taps to get to the relevant information and said information is layed out in an unhelpful way. The only reason I still give this app two stars is because the concept is amazing and it still does what it promises.

The new app design is more difficult to use. The dashboard is gone, it takes several taps to get anywhere, shows you so little information, and has an overall unfriendly design now. Fortunately the website still has the original design, so I don't need the app anymore. If the website makes these changes as well I won't be using doodle any longer.

👎👎👎👎👎 Very disappointing. I've used Doodle for years. One great feature was being able to do "true" polls and voting. Now, they've redesigned Doodle, and while it says "Polls" it is not. There terminology of poll now is for calendar dates only. Very sad, I've used this for both a large business and small organization in the past. I won't be using it anymore and will be looking for something to meet the needs. What is needed is casting true polls, voting in addition to finding meeting times

So sad... Used to recommend this app to everyone and used it for crucial meetings many times. Now, it keeps crashing on opening. But even when it's stayed open, the interface is now a mess and no longer intuitive. WHY fiddle with it to such a ruinous extent? To re-work a cliché, if it ain't broke don't wreck it. Anyone recommend a good alternative?

Completely unusable after the latest update! This app changed from awesome to awful. Using this app has become a lot more complicated and also confusing. Choosing dates for a new poll is a hassle, takes much longer. I never know where to find the functions I miss from the old app or if they're even still there. After people voted, I cannot clearly see who voted for which date or whose vote is still pending. Terrible overview, very impractical. The former app was so easy to use. Why make it bad?

Sorry, but the app is useless now. It was great before. You could manage all polls within the app. It used to compare your appointments on the device calendar with the poll which made it much faster. Now it opens the browser for all actions. It's useless, since it doesn't even login automatically when it sends you to the browser. No calender comparison(I don't wanna add my calendar to my doodle account, so don't make me) I will just go to the browser from now on, since the app is now useless :(

Went from a staple on my phone to schedule tabletop game nights for years to being replaced the moment I can. All that due a baffling redesign/update that improves nothing for the end user. Literally nothing. It's 'funny' how one of the new promo pics says you can 'schedule in minutes' because with the old app I was able to make a poll in seconds.

This app WAS amazing. After the recent change to align the mobile app with the web app, the mobile app is a joke. When contacted directly their response is this: "As you may have noticed, we did remove some functionalities of the old app to make way for newer, better features. Our main goal is to make sure the app is aligned with our current web product and scheduling options." Newer, better, features? No. The mobile app is no longer usable. Everything that made it great has been removed.

I used Doodle for planning meetings with friends. It used to be quite good. I need it occasionally, not many meetings a day. I miss the table view, where I can see all participants and their answers. But the worst is that I (as owner/creator of an event) can't change my answer! And it is set as yes (sometimes I need no or at least if-need-be). Can't use it anymore.

What happened!? This app used to be brilliant. Now the UI is completely different, not intuitive at all. Have logged into my account and when I try to set up a poll it asks for my e-mail address and tells me I need to log in. But I'm already logged in. Have given up. Sad to lose what was such a useful app.

I wish I could give it a zero! I loved this app it worked great for scheduling nights out with friends. NOW it's lost all my current polls, I can't use it, most of the time I can't log on. It's absolutely the worst update and app I've ever seen now. Someone in doodle needs to look at their jobs over this awful update (or down date ) as it should be called. Its no good saying they are listening to our concerns, if you were you'd bring back the older usable version.

This was my essential scheduling app but the latest update has rendered doodle ineffective and useless for on-the-go scheduling. The app won't show all responses in a chart anymore, you can't see any responses side by side, all the old polls are not available in the app, and the new polls have almost no readibility functions in the app. Unless you are sitting at your desk, the latest update makes doodle completely useless! Bring back the functionality that made this app great.

Used to be great. Has gone from my default tool for planning with friends to unusable. Now only for calendar, no custom polls. Clunkier to start any poll, and to me the most infuriating: owner automatically is listed as green for each option. So now I cannot suggest each day in a 2 week span for easy overview unless I am available each day, and most importantly: as the owner of the poll I cannot mark slots yellow! I cannot say either "this time is not great, but we can try" or "meet without me".

The latest version is absolutely appalling!! I used to use the poll to arrange social meetings with friends but now it takes you to the website all the time & it's not user friendly on a phone. I actually resorted to lots of texts and a paper grid this week to arrange my latest night out!!! Please bring back the old app!

The app was intuitive before the update. They tried to make it more professional and increase the possibilities to make schedules. But ultimately it turned out to be completely useless on mobile phone, there are problem with inputs and app design which should get fixed asap.

So poorly made. Really hard to use. Doesn't support Google logins. Needs you to re-login all the time on browser. Group poll is terribly set up - let me type in the dates/times please! You have to go week by week and the area it expects you to tap is tiny, so you spend ages deleting and redoing it, it'll scroll the whole screen rather than move the appointment. It feels like whoever designed this has no idea what people use doodle for or how they use it. It's so bad.

So..half the time the calendars im invited to arent even shown in the app. If i open a link, its opened in a browser window. AND if i open a calendar *inside the app* it also opens a browser window?! Before the update, the app made changing when i was and wasnt available very easy and with the table view very convenient. Now the only thing the app does is open the browser. Why exactly do i need this app? Honestly, Im uninstalling this and going to find an .apk for an earlier, pre-update version.
