2.5 stars. Fun game, terrible ads plaguing you every step of the way. It's enough motivation to stay in the game just so you don't get a full screen, gawdy ad with either an unskippable timer or a near invisible exit button. I've already accidentally navigated back to this play store trying to exit them. Remember when they used to just let you have fun? 😠 for goodness sake.
I have a very fun time playing this. It's quite a relic, but an entertaining one at that. Doodle jump, unlike other games, is layed-back and fun, while also challenging. (Unlike some other games that are aggravating and confusing, in my opinion.) Just my type of game. Note! I wrote this in 2022, and have seen very few (if any) ads. Apparently there used to be, according to the 1-3 star comments, but no longer.
I used to love this game, however the adverts are noticeably getting longer and more frequent. Having to sit through a 30 second advert without the option to skip is not fun. However, having to sit through THREE 30 second adverts 3 games in a row without the option to skip, is a reason to uninstall.
Challenging but in the good way and I enjoy that it makes you tilt your device to move to show how challenging it is but there is one big flaw and it mostly happens in loads of other mobile games like this: it's just the ads there is a lot but to be honest I don't think you should have to pay for ads at least remove the frequency of them great game just a bit spoiled by ads
Great game no ads except for adverts of mini doodles and doodle jump plushies. Could be better though cuz there should be an option for changing from tilt to buttons such as left right and shoot. Other than that problem, great game.
Very cool, and addictve. Kinda hard but also fun. About the ads, just turn off wifi. Its THAT simple guys! No need to wait for it to finish or to skip the ad. But anyways this is a very fun and good game.
wow I used to love this game 10 years ago, but now i had very bad experience. freezes every time and there are lots of bugs. the ads after every game are horribly long. uninstalled
This is a definite tried an tested CLASSIC, I've been enjoyin this game for a decade an sure it will go on for many more, pleasure to play ...always!!! ***** ATB. LOL. Problems with ads? Just play with wifi an data switched off! Simples... TRIED AN TESTED! THE BEST! .. TBC....
... I love this game, it's so fun I have absolutely zero problems with this game. The character is adorable, and it's just so addicting too. I love it so much that I even made a little drawing of the character, Who I call, Doodle. I recommend this game to anybody who loves jumping games.
Ads after every game which are impossible to close without clicking. Made it unplayable. Thought it would be a nice reminder to childhood but ended up being another sad reminder that everything is about money now.
This game is so nostalgic for me. I remember being 5 and playing this on my dad's phone. The gameplay is absolutely amazing and flawless. It's such a simple game but so entertaining at the same time. Doodle Jump is the best overall game in history, and if you don't think so then you can throw away your phone.
this game is amazing. everywhere i look i see perfection. it introduces new mechanics at a perfect rate and the art style is simple, but perfect. it feels old yet new enough to keep the balance of perfection. you can compare scores with other people, and its simple and to the point. not to mention how great the controls are and how it feels to play. get this game. i could go on and on about the perfection, but you have to trust me so im not here for a year. GET THIS GAME!!! (there are few adds.)
The game is fun and addictive in its simplicity but it has two major flaws: WAY TOO MANY ADS! they drive me crazy, just every time I die I have to watch them! also, there must be something wrong with the achievements, because the game tells me I managed to achieve X but it doesn't show up in my achievement chart. Fix these issues, please!
I saw some comments saying that there is an add each time you die but the easy solution for that is offing the WiFi and mobile data. If I could only say good or bad then I would say good. I love that you tilt the screen instead of using arrows. I love that the game is made of doodles and that there are springs, double springs, trampolines, spinning hats and monsters and stuff to shoot while making it to the top. I recommend this game for anyone who has a lot of free time and/or doesn't know what to do.GREAT GAME!
This game is a classic. I remember downloading it in all the craze when it first came out when I was growing up, and it was so addictive. After some years of getting busier and not playing much on my phone, I've downloaded it again for a bit of nostalgia - and boy did this game deliver. There are new stages that absolutely amaze me, even more than the original stages did. There's a retro stage with characters from old arcade games that is just so much fun! Thanks for the nostalgia! 11/10. ❤️
IIRC I first installed this game back when it was an Editor's choice. It is one of those games which is simple to get the hang of but hard to master. It's ideal if you have five minutes to kill while waiting for a ride or to take a break from more demanding apps. Doodle Jump is simple yet inventive and aesthetically appealing and it is low enough on resources to run well on a budget phone.
This is a fun game if your favorite part of watching tv is the commercial break. I've been playing since 2009 and it's consistantly been one of my favorite games. But recently they added ads and have completely ruined the gaming experience. Every time you fail you're forced to watch a 30 second add. Sometimes I'll finish an ad and a new one will pop up. I'm uninstalling and can't reccomend anyone play this advertisement disguised as entertainment.
Great game. Super simple but addictive. I would give it 5 stars but I have a problem with it. Sometimes (or just randomly) I can't press any of the buttons when I die. Since this happens I have to close the app and restart the game. Would give 5 stars if it was fixed and it's super annoying.
It's a fun, but simple concept, and the number of different background settings in the game makes it very enjoyable. I like the fact that I don't need power ups or to pass any levels to access anything, and in general it's just very chill. One thing I would wish that could be fixed though is a bug that makes things slow down for a period of time, and then return back to normal. On the whole a great game though, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed and fun way to fill their time!
The game is really fun, but no matter what, after each game there's a long unskipable ad. It has become just unplayable because of the ad-game ratio.
This game is my favorite game ever. I can play all day everyday and still not get bored or even rage. The reason I gave it so low is because the ads. Every single time I die their is an ad. The ad's makes me not want to play at all (and after a while I rage because I'm annyoed at the ads) , and really it's the same ad over and over. Like I said amazing game itself, but remove the ads or at least decrease them.
I remeber that this was the very first game I played in my small little tablet way back in mid 2012 in some website on Google or something like that and oh boy this game is just great for being simplistic fun with lots of joy and a nice concept that I think a lot of people can agree 👍

The game itself is a classic, no question- but the ads. My god, the ads. After every game over, the player is accosted by a thirty second, unskippable ad, frequently of some annoying TikToker or, even worse, Meta content. It's intrusive and annoying and a serious disincentive to play the game, which is why I'm here in the first place.
