Door Kickers

**
* To play the game as intended, a screen of at least 5.7 inches is required ***
Door Kickers is the unforgiving, award winning SWAT-command quick tactics game from the PC. Includes all updates and a new campaign, as well as full cross-platform saves compatibility and an all-new interface designed specifically for touch based platforms.

***RockPaperShotgun’s Bestest Best Tactics game of 2014***

**“Door Kickers is a game about cops kicking down doors, and these doors are a lot of fun to kick down. It is also very hard, and I love it for that.” ***84/100 – PC Gamer

***”It evokes lot of the more demanding thrills that modern games have left behind, the grit and the hard won satisfaction of overcoming intimidating challenges, or the experimental fun of spending hours tinkering with all the different ways you can play through a big, open-ended level. I had a blast inching my way through pretty much all of the harder stages in this game and I also think you might have a blast with it too.” ***Super Bunnyhop

“It’s a thing of beauty and manages to capture the planning and satisfying execution of more complex strategy games, as well as the gung-ho and the popping-off of growly man in military shooters. (...) It’s probably the best man-shootery game I’ve played in years.”Indie Statik

Door Kickers mixes old school, no-quarter action with modern ergonomic interfaces and puts you in command of a SWAT team during a tactical intervention.

Analyze the situation, plan team routes, choose equipment and breach points and coordinate multiple troopers to reach the hostage room before the bad guys get to press that trigger.

It may sound daunting, and like real world CQB combat, it sure is. But most levels can be completed in minutes and on the fly improvisation works. Achieving the perfect planning, getting the mission done with no false steps and losing no people, that’s a skill harder to master.Quick Points:§ 80 single missions, 6 campaigns and unlimited gameplay via mission generator§ Over 65 weapons and gear items to use and overcome the enemy.§ Top Down perspective for optimal tactical analysis§ Real Time With Free Pause§ No turns, no hexes, no action points or awkward interfaces§ Realistic but action packed§ Non-linear levels, freeform gameplay

Basically a copy paste of the old PC game. Bought because of nostalgia, and it didn't disappoint. Using your finger instead of a mouse to move units around can be a little annoying at times, but otherwise a very good port. For those who aren't familiar with the game. It's a top down, "real time", tactical shooter. I put real time in quotes because you can pause and plan out movements. A good amount of content for the money. And I've bought it twice. Once here and once on steam.

Implementation for small screens is quite bad. So easy to mess up pathings, that you have set up and no way to revert this. Also happens with zooming in and out. Restarting level, I've managed to click this little save button multiple times and have whole level erased. I'd really like to see a undo button so at least, when I drag a wrong line, it would be possible to revert it back. Otherwise it is cool premesis, and would like to play on the fly!

Love the game. It's pretty realistic, and you can make your squad breach and clear rooms like squads in real life do. For the most part, they do what you want them too, but it's a learning curve and you should not always send one person to clear a room or expect them to kill the person shooting at them and not turn away to get shot in the side and die. RIP Steele lol Great game though. It has some bad times, but it's more than tolerable and very easy to get over and continue to have fun with.

it's not my type of games, but it seems good to others. the game has kind of terrible feedback for the controls, which I wish if you added a real time mode with real time controls that would be a lot better also the front UI needs some work because the first time I launched it I didn't entirely understand what was everything for

Very enjoyable and challenging! Would like to see other additions to the game, mostly either more movement mechanics and simplifying commands. I would love to see a 3D Camara view, but the top down look is ok, nothing to write home about. Mostly just wanting an enhanced and improved movement and planning system. But overall I'm quite impressed

It's very fun, but frustrating that the troopers don't do what they're supposed to do sometimes then you have to completely reroute them from the beginning. Also for whatever reason you can't flip the screen, as in it only works with my charging port on the right side, which doesn't seem like big deal but when you pay 4 bucks for a game and you can't even flip the screen is pretty stupid and lazy from the devs.

Awesome single player fun! Have gotten hooked several times while playing and realized I spent more time than I had planned too. The only issues I have, sometimes the controls get a bit muddy, especially on more complicated missions, making it kinda tricky to play a level seamlessly without it pausing. That and NEED MORE CONTENT! LOL

Very fun game, replayability, nice customization. I have 2 issues. We should able to zoom in quite a bit more so can make micro adjustments. And the hold command should be on the action circle of the trooper, double clicking is inconsistent and sometimes ruins the previously drawn route. Please adjust these 2 things.

This game is just amazing. Graphics are great and gameplay is even better. There are just 2 things that bother me... I often accidentally click the redo button and then all progress (except the first plan) is lost. A confirmation would be nice. Also, this game absolutely drains your battery. It's worth it though, but if there could be some sort of fix for that it would be really appreciated.

The controls aren't optimized for mobile users. It is hard to select the action or change the path when several units cross paths or are close to eachother. Zooming in and out modifies the path. It is build for a mouse and not a touch screen. I would love to see an option to select a unit and be able to modify that units path and action only. And maybe copy those to another unit to later edit some details. Also saving a plan for later use would be really nice. The gameplay itself is awesome. That I really like about the game. And I love that it is an offline game.

This is basically a top down Swat game(Referring to the PC games in the Swat series), it's all about tactics and planning. So if your into all that, you'll love this. As for the quality of this port, I'd say it's perfect, I haven't experienced any crashes, freezes, or bugs. And it is a complet port of the PC version as far as I can see. So yeah it's a bunch of fun and I highly recomend it.

It's old, it's fun, it's awesome. The levels do get progressively harder with some exceptional difficulty spikes but it's all good as you don't have to follow the missions in order, though I do recommend it. The game works flawlessly, the satisfaction of having the plans go perfectly, more or less, is genuinely great. Overall this game is amazing. The only thing I can ask for is coop of some kind in this mobile version.

Superb game. Quite challenging as you progress, but I haven't yet found anything to be impossible or overwhelming. They definitely make you think hard though! My only suggestion for the developer is to add an option during planning to "lock" an officer's path, or be able to hide all but the one you're working on. I constantly try to adjust an officer's orientation/path and end up somehow grabbing a different officer's path and resetting it, which is very frustrating. I'm even using a stylus pen.

I can see this being great on the PC, but on a mobile, the lack of an undo button in the planning phase means it's way to easy to accidently delete 10 mins of routes and planning when say scrolling the map. When this doesn't happen it's a good game, but the 1 or 2 times this happens an hour is just so frustrating I just can't be bothered. Sad, as I can't see it being hard to fix and it's such a major flaw.

Amazing game. Excellent mix of strategy and execution, multiple different stages and will keep you thinking long and hard. Not so brutal that it is disheartening but makes you focus on the planning and deployment. Very gratifying to watch your team complete a mission successfully. My only gripe is that the customisation screen and some of the fonts haven't been optimised for the mobile experience.

I love the game. Very strategic. Worth the money. However it doesn't explain a few things that can make things go differently then how you want. For example I picked a lock thinking I could silently get a few guys (which is an option if you sneak up on them) but it kicked down the door alerting the crooks. T hats really my only complaint tho. At the very least explain them on the website or something.

this is an amazing game, that is certain. I love the mechanics, graphics and gameplay and there is nothing more satisfying than watching a perfect plan work out after spending ages figuring out how to best approach the task. The only flaw I have found so far is tha fact that I cannot rotate the game screen if I hold my phone upside down. this isn't great as my phone design makes it very uncomfortable to use earphones and hold my phone the "right" way.

The potential for a good mobile game is there but the control interface is not in any way good enough for this format. You will fumble with the buttons and quickly become annoyed with how unintuitive and fiddly the game feels to play. To make matters worse, everything is absolutely tiny, even when zoomed in, fonts included. Otherwise this could be a decent strategy time passer.

Jos. B. Aug 10, 2019

There's just a little bug that prevents you from renaming characters with any capital letters please fix that! It would be cool if we could have more customizable options for the way our squad looks. This game is just needs a bit more to become less repetitive other than that it's brilliant. at first it didn't work and my phone wouldn't load it but I think it was fixed and now I'm enjoying playkng it a lot!

Ada. S. Dec 31, 2019

This is a fun and challenging game however it's far too complex for a mobile I feel like it was a PC game and they just rushed it into a mobile version. There is far too many options and because you only have fingers to work with and not the accuracy of a mouse it's just frustrating trying to get it working without pressing the wrong thing. It needs to be dumbed down for it to be enjoyable on a mobile.

This is a really decent port from the pc, though some of the controls need to be tightened up. It sorely lacks a path lock, as you tend to unintentionally edit one of you units paths, if he crosses over another units, and you want to edit it. Maybe, just adding a lock on each action after you've committed an action would help. While it's a good buy, the multi unit controls not being locked, will frustrate you into closing the app and playing something else.
