All the 1 stars are true for me. About 1 in 10 times "send to car" works. Here is another issue: If you create a route with the cell app, it does a good job determining the optimal route. However, if you create a route using the on-board app [Leaf] to the same destination, it creates a nonsense route. Yes, all route settings are the same, highways etc. It uses major highways for part of the route, then for no apparent reason, it routes on minor roads. It is not do to an "avoid tolls" setting.
How do you make this app work with the navi on the 2018 X Trail?????? I have tried so many times and it is just not sending the direction to my car..... the phone is connected but the app keeps on telling me that the direction will be send to my car as soon as the phone is connected to the car. AND IT IS CONNECTED!!! Just can not believe that Nissan is providing this level of service.
I still don't understand if that application does anything it mentions. It doesn't connect to the multimedia system, it mentions that the route is sent to the system, but it doesn't do any single thing. It seems that this application is abandonware: no replies from the manufacturer, no updates, no fixes, nothing. Please rethink thrice if you are considering downloading this application - it won't do what it is meant to do.
This is unreliable. I tested an easy to follow route from Stratford upon Avon UK to Oakhampton Devon UK. the app wanted to send me via a few villages instead of a faster way then diverted me off the M5 to enter Bristol only to re-join the M5 miles down the road, Why??? There is no option to adjust your route as there is on Google maps. Needless to say I will be uninstalling this useless app. If you are looking for a navigation app, don't use this one.......unless you want to go on a mystery tour.
This app is trash. When I try to connect this to my car, the app pops up its logo and goes back to the map. It acts like it doesn't even attempt to connect to the car. Also, the interface looks and feels outdated. If I could give a 0 I would.
Good app. Good and stable connection to the car via bluetooth. But it's impossible to turn it off completely, the app continue working in background and drains the battery of the phone.
The entire nissan navigation system is useless. Tried this app because voice recognition on nissan navigation cant find anything ever. Its a hazzard to use. This app doesnt help. Send to car is nice but nizsan connect is impossible to use and get/stay connected. Its way more work than it is worth. I paid alot to get navigation on truck and i still have to use google maps on my phone.
The last update finally got it syncing to my car. Now when I shut it off it sets a pin for the parking reminder. Now of there was just a way to sync the address book from the car with the phone this could be a good app.
Tried, but failed. Would not connect, kept telling me to connect (MP3 player Bluetooth working fine!). App fails to list comparable vehicles despite our being told it would update maps over wi-fi. Now deleted as no good. Fix the basics please.
'Connect your navigation system'. That's as far as I get. My phone is connected to the car for audio playback and phone calls. Going to have to give up and uninstall at this rate.
This app doesn't open after login to the account and close it. Needs to clear the data and cash then it works but after login and close the app, it doesn't open. I discovered that don't login to your account and you will be ok.
If you are having a problem linking. Once your phone connects to your car, It's going to ask you to pair the door to door on your phone. first click, connect on your phone. Then on your car desplay. It will work after that. If you click your car only it dont work. You have to ok your phone to connect
Gave up with it. Persistently refuses to send routes to the car claiming the phone is not connected when the car says the phone is connected. Use Android Auto... that actually works
User unfriendly. Looks very unprofessional. Does not connect with the car system. No settings or guidance. Useless.
Flaky at best. Seems surprising that it hasn't been updated in 18 months when it's so unreliable. Looks like Nissan have given up on supporting this app.
Nice app, pretty intuitive. Good quality map data. Syncing with vehicle took a bit, but after that no issues seen
Only a few times have I been able to get destination to be sent to vehicle. Why it only works sometimes is a mystery as it always tells me destination will be sent when phone is connected to car.
Most recent update now seems to have this function like it's supposed to. Battery drain is gone, app crashes are gone.
seriously... seriously... having an amazing car like that and not even able to connect the app with it... come on, we're in 2019. things like that should be fairly easy to do for any consumer. anyway i guess like any big company you are not reading those comments so why do i waste my time doing this???
I can't get this app to work. when it is downloaded the phone won't even connect to car. Based on all if the terrible reviews, Nissan doesn't seem to care.
Not working anymore, app keep asking you to verify pin. Used to work. Very sad. Could you please fix it and make it perfect again?
Nice app. My only complaint is where do you go in the app to change the tone/sound when the app alerts you.
Map looks good on my phone but the instructions for connection to the car system simply don't work. App and car don't link the in the way the tutorial shows. Nothing happens even though car Bluetooth is connected to my phone. The connection is supposed to initiate automatically, but does not, and no info on troubleshooting. Very lengthy and frustrating experience. Service completely unusable as a result. Sounds similar for the majority of others. Real shame. Back to Android Auto for me!
