The good news
- you have $2,000 in cash. The bad? You owe $5,500 to Honest Harry, a not-too-friendly loan shark, interest is piling up, he'll be visiting you soon for his money, and he owns a chainsaw! Just sayin'. You only have one choice
- dive into the underworld of peddling drugs to make money fast and save your skin!
As you travel from location to location, a day passes and local prices change. Buy low, sell higher! But beware
- Officer Hardass is looking out for you, so get prepared for a stand-off with the cops by visiting the Dope Wars Superstore to tool up for the inevitable confrontation!
Along the way, special market events will cause prices to rise or fall spectacularly, so be ready for these, this is how you get rich! There are muggers out there, so try to keep unused cash in the bank, earning interest. Other loan sharks can lend you money to solve short-term liquidity crunches, but they'll be after their money soon enough! If you get injured, pop in to see the local doctor at his surgery, but look out
- he has no scruples, and you have kidneys. A bad combination.
Listen out for the crazy old lady, too. She sure has some wacky things to say, but occasionally, she'll give you a tip off about a raid, which are essential to your financial success in Dope Wars. Also, keep an eye out (and cash on hand) for the chance to buy a larger trench coat. More space, more profit! Good luck my friend, you're sure going to need it!!

I like this very much. I wish there was an option past 120 days, to more elaborate stuff, like accumulate mass amounts of money, make investments, buikd a cartel or army, etc. That would be a whole new dynamic to the game, but, Im sure everyone would enjoy the endless rewards, while still being chased by OFC. Hardass. Maybe even add the Feds, once you reach at point in infamy. Just a few suggestions. Thanks. Salute

I like the game overall. It brings back memories of the old PC game. The prices seem glitchy, though. There is often a pattern of prices dropping below what you paid for something and then staying there for several days if you pass up a chance to sell at a minor profit. It doesn't feel particularly random. I generally enjoy it, though.
It only got four stars because I play the original. As remakes go, this IS the best attempt so far :)
I've been playing this game for at least 10yrs throughout the course of phone swaps with different carriers and I find it as fun now as the 1st time I played
I've played the PC version of this game since 2002. Very happy to see it on my smartphone.
Finally a decent mobile version of a classic from my youth. All the charm of the original is here. great game!

Great for passing the time
A paid Dope Wars where you can't even buy transportation or hirelings to defend you, and there isn't any armour... Disappointing. Edit: well these features existed in the original game, so your version is wanting. Instead of pretending not to be at fault, respect your customers (and yourself) and add these features.
Remember loving this game during the late 90s early 00s. Super pumped to find it here and relive the fun. It is everything I remember, executed perfectly. The only thing I could hope for is an endless mode, sometimes 120 days isn't enough.
Please make it possible to play endless mode. I think the game is awesome for the people that have played it back in the day. One thing I do have an issue with his if I get pulled over by the cops, it locks up any buttons it just vibrates I have to hit the back button and go back to resume game to go to another city. It's a small issue but other than that the game is awesome just like long time ago
Love the new features! Super cool! I saw u posted something aboot being torn between keeping it classic vs more complex; and I wondered if u ever considered making a new game app?! I am a huge fan of the classic and have played since it came out but I'd love to try more twists. Just make sure we always have the option to go back to classic. :)
