Dope Wars Classic
In DopeWars, you are a drug dealer moving from one borough to another, buying and selling drugs to earn as money as you can.You start with $2,000 and 100 spaces in your trenchcoat. You owe $5,500 to the loan shark, and he's charging a high interest rate for that. So, buy low, move to Brooklyn or Manhattan, sell high. And finally, go to the Bronx to pay the loan shark back.But it's not that easy, some bad things can occur during your move, such as muggings, and cops. Fortunatly, good things can occur too, like finding drugs on a corpse, buying extra pockets, or meeting a nice friend.
DopeWars Classic is an adaptation of original Drugwars created by John E. Dell in 1984.

Enjoyed the previous version immensely. This one crashes every time I'm half way through a game. Hoping for a fix.
I know it's a direct copy of the original, but it could be tweaked to improve it. As it is, it's a nice simple game that you can play once in a while to pass a bit of time.
I've been playing this game in various capacities since I had it on my palm pilot in High School. Beautiful and accurate recreation for today's devices.
Love this game even back in the late 90s when it first was released. Lots of fun high stress modes when low on health and also trying to deposit money before someone attempts to mug you. Just wished the bank still gave interest for games linger than 90 days. Keep up the good work. P.s. all your base are belong to us!
Caught in a loop of ADs that couldn't even be force closed. Installed. Hostile advertising broke the game and should be played with caution.
Non optional full screen video ads. This game isn't close good enough for me to tolerate that.
I have been playing this game forever, you changed it and took my winning amount and set it back to zero! UNISTALLED!!!
Not nearly as entertaining/expansive as the PC version, but I still enjoyed (paid for) the Android version for a while. Lately though, I keep getting busted early in the game, which ruins that cycle, so I quit. They need to restore the random pop-up cards (pics) and comments, add all the cities/travel options, and bring back the rubber chicken launcher. Then we'll talk.
There an error with latest update on my Android v6.0. The dialog box for interactions with police does not show, so when you try and move cities you cannot, and an error msg pops up on screen "erreur: Can't move during a fight". You have to leave app (not exit) and re-enter for dialog box to appear. Pls fix, 👍
This game is amazing and addicting. I like that you can change the game duration.
PC version was way better. Need to be able to play longer then 30 days
My friends and I played the heck out of this game in high school, back around 2000 or so. It was simple enough to run on mobile devices of the time and that you could just pick up and play for a few minutes, much like popular mobile games of today. This version plays exactly how I remember it 20 years ago on palmos. It's a flawed game, as your score comes down to luck once you get the basic mechanics, but it's still crazy addictive. Only complaint is the ads are unnecessarily hard to close out.
An update has re-added the ads that I paid to remove, and the feedback link doesn't do anything
Used to really enjoy this game. My eyes just can't adjust to newest version.
new update isnt good, less p!ayable on tablet, they kinda broke what was a perfect game. maybe next update will help

Graphics used to be nice, colorful but blurry.

Ok rendition of the classic version. Not sure if it just me but when you have high numbers of something it seems to intentionally make it more difficult to sell e.g. if I have 100 coke it won't allow me to sell it for days on end and never jumps up in price. Seems like it is programmed to work against you rather than just being random chance of getting good prices. Also the interaction with the cops need reworked. Takes to many bullets, you lose loads of health and only gets you $1000
It's fun. I'd like to find a game like this that let's me keep going until I drop.
I've been playing this game on and off for years... however, since the latest update, my game resets itself if my phone rotates.
Didnt really keep it long enough to find out if I liked it be ause I had to make room for storage. It was one I called. Nothing wrong about functuality. I'm just more of a solitaire type or even trivia to pass the time.
WAS fantastic until the latest update in early 2022. The "completely rededigned" app seems nothing more than the addition of a less-readable font, and much less playability. Now its glitchy and regularly crashes on Android. And when it works, you get mugged or busted every game. Found myself going from playing it all the time, to just not finding it enjoyable anymore.
