- Dormi adjusts to noise levels automatically. Leave the device several meters away from the sleeping baby and it will still be able to detect when it cries and amplify the sound for the parent device as if it were placed right next to the baby.
Press and hold the Listen button to hear sound from the child device even while the baby is not crying. Equally, use the Talk button to talk back to soothe or calm the baby while you are on your way.
Convenient info-centerWith Dormi you always know what's going on. All important information about the child device is always available while monitoring. If connection with the child device is lost, the parent device will notify you.
Dormi will even notify you about missed calls and new text messages received on the child device, so you will not miss something important while not having direct access to the device.

Loud feedback when you walk into the room where the other device is being used. Instantly wakes baby up in a panic. Video hardly ever is available as an option, no idea why. It's good as a prototype or general idea, but overall this particular operation isn't what it has potential to be. Needs more work and dedication. Much potential though.
Used to be a pretty good app, but don't buy it now. Beware. The app has been abandoned and fallen into disrepair. 1. The connection between two devices will drop randomly for no apparent reason (signal is fine) 2. When it loses connection, I manually have to reconnect it to get it to work again. There's an alert for that, which will wake you up a bunch of times at night 3. 3g/4g functionality no longer works. As soon as I leave WiFi it won't connect no matter what. No response from developer.
Bought this app premium 3 years ago, and soon after a year one of us moved to ios and we could not make use of this app. While I wished and requested that dormi did make an ios app as well, so glad that we are now back on Android, and the app works the same as I remember! I hope the view button be toggle able so as to switch it between continuous video stream mode on or just video stream till button pressed. Along with the noise detection video.
the app only stays connected for like 1-2 hours tops before it stops pairing and I have to physically go in and restart it on the child phone and pair it again. i downloaded a few different apps and am disappointed that the best quality one is the only one that doesnt stay connected the whole night. wish i had not wasted my money on buying the full version on this one.
I used to love this app so much I used the paid version. But a recent update destroyed it. I used to be able to turn on my phone's app and instantly connect to my other phone in the baby's room with no problems, no matter where I was. Now it always requires reconnecting, which I can't do when the baby is in there sleeping! I'll be uninstalling and looking for another
It used to run really well, but suddenly has occasional connection issues (unrelated to the network, with two parent devices one is often running smoothly while the other gets an error). If this isn't fixed soon, we'll have to switch apps 😕 Also, no response yet on our message on the issue.
Garbage app; drops signal a the time. constantly having to restart to get it to work. All these issues using brand new Pixel 3's, Comcast broadband internet, and a $300 dollar router! Use the free version in a pinch maybe, but dont by any means pay these people money! Sent two emails through the app regarding issues, and received no reply a month later! Boo!
It does what it says on the tin. Have not used the camera function yet, but listening and speaking works well. So far no glitches. Its for free if you use it less than 4hrs a month (so only for non-frequent use).
This is a very smooth experience. App is very very simple and totally functional right away without tweaking any settings. And very reliable. Never experienced any "false alarm" or the opossite. Thumbs up
Works very well, but I've been having a big problem recently with Dormi since upgrading to a Pixel 4: the phone just dies, as if it ran out of battery. However, after plugging the phone back in, the phone restarts and the battery shows 60% or more. With my original Pixel and Android 10, there was no issue so this is something specific to the 4. That being said, I don't have this issue with any other apps.
The app is great and is really focused on safety (for example you get notified if connection fails to the child device). I would give it 5 stars, but it doesn't allow continuous streaming over wifi for some strange reason. You need to keep a button pressed. I would love to have this as an option !
