I've been using this app for at least 4 years and, with the exception of one flawed update back in 2017 (and very quickly resolved), it's been absolutely perfect and a real savior for me in managing my meds. I even put my cats' feeding schedule on it! I like the new interface introduced with the latest update. It's clean and fresh. Thank you for a superb and!
Continuous alarm no longer notifys. Had this app for years and it worked perfectly. Got a new Galaxy 5G phone. One little notification ping does not make you aware if your phone is not with you. Have it set to go continuously and that never works. Looks like other people are having trouble with the app maybe it doesn't work as well on the new 5G phones. Disappointed because it was very reliable for years
So easy, so customizable! Perfect app too help me keep it all straight and flexible when I need it to be. Only one thing missing and that's dark mode. My eyes aren't great anymore, lol
The paid version works best for me. The alarm can be continuously played until it is acknowledged or play one time with a secondary alarm at chosen intervals until acknowledged but only plays one interval each time. It would be nice if I could set the length of the alarm as I choose because one ring at a time sometimes is not heard easily when I am sleeping.
Been using for years (including switched account) and this allowing interval based reminders was a life saver. But recently they got a bit more greedy out seems and took away more functions to get more subscribers. I would have happily paid a 1 time cost... but no way I'm signing up for yet ANOTHER monthly auto fee deal to be yet ANOTHER endless headache to justify in tight finances each month. Forget it... this move really was them saying they don't care about any long time user.
Update:2/11/21- apparently an update happened after I had paid for and configured everything in the full version. It made the inhaler configuration much easier... Thank you...} { I have an inhaler that is hard to configure within this app... Everything else is fantastic, no way I'd be able to keep up with my meds without it.
I like the app and paid for the pro edition. I would love to give a better review. Unfortunately, I keep getting a error that Dosecast could not connect to the server. Seems to be a problem that they have had for some time and still have not addressed. Can't recommend using the app if it doesn't work.
I loved this app and came to depend on it, but since Android 12 it no longer functions. The app crashes. Uninstalled it reinstalled it, worked until I added a does time to a med and then the app crashes. What is the point of a med reminder app if you can't set a reminder time? I hope the developers can fix this soon!
For the past several weeks the app will not open and just crashes when I try to open it. I get no notifications or anything, making it entirely useless.
Uninstalled and now using Medisafe app which is working fine. Update - Crashes trying to "contact server" Then offers to report to Developer, which is then ignored. Was working fine but latest update fails to notify. I have all my phone and app settings correct, but notifications stopped when updated. Reverted back to previous version using an app backup app and all working fine again. Emailed the developer 2 weeks ago with all details direct from app and no response. Great app when it works.
The notification is not consistent. Sometimes it gives off alarm sometimes it doesn't. Same goes for the repeat alarm.
Keeps me up on my meds. However one is an every 3 months dose and the app makes you calculate that in weeks, very inconvenient. Otherwise it's great:... 2020 Update: There needs to be a liquid dose selection (ie. 3 ml or whatever a teaspoon and the like is) Also not sure why, but notification sounds are no longer working.
This is usually a great app, but I'm not getting reminder notifications lately. I only get reminders when I open the app to check it, then I'll get all the reminders for the previous day. This seems to have started after the most recent update. Happy to give more stars if this new bug gets fixed.
New phone.....Still useless. Bought a Samsung A52 5g. Released onto market last year so no obsolescence issues. Guess what? This app acts as if push notification meds reminders are optional and will rarely appear! It'll suddenly 'remember' if you open the app but that defeats the sodding point of them. Absolutely bloody fantastic if you've got ADD, so without these reminders you forget just as much as you would without it!
