Find all the administrative documents necessary to apply for a VISA D'ÉTUDES for these 3 countries: Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco.
You go to France for studies and you will stay more than 3 months. So this app is made to help you.
Important:
This application is intended to inform you and remind you about any documents that may be, you have forgotten to do. It is important not to rely 100% on the documents cited on the application because the consulate of France in these three countries (Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco) changes the laws every month.
1. When to apply for a visa?
When the CampusFrance procedure has been completed, you must apply for a long-stay visa for studies.
2. Content of the file
The application for a long-stay visa must contain:
- the basic documents of any visa application: link on the page mentioning these parts
- proof that the Campus France procedure has been completed (the email received via your CampusFrance personal area)
- proof of the level of French (holders of the French baccalaureate are exempted)
- proof of the level of studies
- proof of enrollment in an academic institution
- professional justifications in case of interruption of studies
- proof of sufficient resources: at least corresponding to the monthly basic maintenance allowance (615 euros per month in 2012, ie around 6200 euros for the academic year)
- proof of accommodation in France: the "reception certificate" for the short stay is not accepted for the issuance of a long-stay visa; on the other hand, an attestation on free paper by which a person agrees to lodge you is accepted, provided that this certificate is accompanied by a photocopy of the French identity card or the residence card of the person who hosts and a proof of address (property tax, housing tax, rent receipt, water or electricity bill for example)
