If I could rate 0 I would... Easily the worse rent a bike app I've ever used. Smallest area that you can actually use it in, no warning when you travel outside the zone. Ended up having to travel another 30 minutes just to park it to avoid a fee although it doesn't even give you the option to just pay the fee. You have to cycle a bike, with its electric assistance turned off possibly miles. Do not use this app ended up charging me £12 for 1 ride where it forced me an extra 30 minutes to park.

The app has great deals and ebikes are the best way to get around central Rome. It has its issues, like you have to be well within the allowed zones because the gps takes a long time to get precise enough. But the concept is very difficult and their execution is pretty damn good. The bikes themselves are self shifting, the electronic assist is very intuitive, brakes were good, and the ride was comfortable.

Worst bike experience. Didn't show me where I can park until I unlocked. I couldn't travel where I wanted to, so I tried leaving the bike exactly where I found. It charged me for it not being in parking spot in the first place, and then some more for unlocking etc. I paid without even riding the bike at all, for no fault of my own. If the bike is not the right place, why are you letting people unlock it and charging them for someone else's mistake. Don't even try!

BEWARE NEW USERS! Don't get caught out like I did! Bikes are great but be careful with the app. The app uses every similar looking blue 'P' symbols of where you can park your bikes and scooters. I checked the app for parking at my destination before unlocking only to find out when I got there that it was parking for scooters only. So I had to cycle all the way back where I started my journey to park up! Tip to developers: make it clearer where cyclists can park and where scooters can park!

Keeps saying error and signing me out my PayPal account because of the error, and won't stop giving errors to me. And not to be funny I don't like an app having access to my details and not letting me use it. I would give 0 if I could but that's sadly not even possible.

Horrible support. My first free ride is failed (ride started on the app but scooter stays locked) so the promo code is just burned for nothing. I wrote that to the support on 26 May and got the generic response on 29 May with this main points: 1. They apologize. 2. They not gonna charge me for that ride. 3. They will pickup the broken scooter. 4. They working hard to improve any technical issues. Nothing about my main question about the burned promo code... Thank you!

Absolutely useless. Did not inform me before the ride that the scooter could only be parked in a designated parking area, instead of any area within the limits. Can't even pause the scooter outside a shop if it's not a designated parking space. There are no parking areas where I need to go so this is useless for me.

Very handy, and I would love to be able to add different payment methods and switch between them when needed instead of only having a single option and I'm only allowed to replace.

Great app, very clean. It would be great to have the option to reserve scooters prior to the ride. Beside that you are the best option in the market right now. Good Job!!

Its a rip off don't go for it . The scooter keeps slowing down in middle of the street wondering if it still working or not . Its not worth the money u pay for :-( And its a bummer 😕 I thought it was going to be fun but it ruined the whole experience 😔 don't waste ur money or time. money grabbers

Creating account and verifying email works. But the app remains locked in "Finish signup" thus making it useless. There's no way to continue. I contacted support and they said it works. No it doesn't. I then asked to have my account deleted. That never happened.

First time user. Started ride unknowingly that I was about to exist the service area. Scooter slowed down and ended the ride without clear warning or anything. 10€ wasted. Wished it had warned me to check my phone to give me a chance to do something. Learn from my mistake 😭

Installed, verified phone and email I added accoutmnt to payments and try on three diff "dott" scooters and none of them work. Problem could be on my side so everything looks fine now.

Fair price really enjoyed the ride, at first had some problems with the customer help service but everything went very good when they respond via text in the app, all in all very good ride and app

the map shows parking places that do not exist eg cadogan Gardens. a total waste of my time and don't has charged me to return the bike to where I found it. useless.

2 free rides they say but when you install the app and click to get your free rides it says you have to invite your friend and once your friend installs the app using your invitation code and starts riding is when you get your free rides.. so basically it's not free until your friend starts paying for rides. New way to SCAM people. Un installing.

App crashes constantly. Difficult to unlock and lock. As a result additional money is spent.

Completely pointless in London. Most of the time you ride at walking speed and parking spots are few and far between. Wasted money

The scooters are good, except when the brakes are remotely applied in the middle of the road. I guess that's just for 'increased' safety though. The real issue is with the app, which rarely knows where you are. This makes starting and ending a ride extremely frustrating.

Never, never and never try to use this useless tool! especially if you are in hurry.. because there is no guarantee that you will reach destinantion on time since this terrible tool may stop moving suddenly without any reason. This is not the first time happening. I missed the bus due to this issue...

Dott was very good app but I'm facing a big problem this time. I added my credit card and it was very smooth in the payment process but recently I can't load money in my account again...I deleted the card and I can't add it now ...I will give you 2 stars

Poor help lines and poor GPS locator scamed money from my account. I was properly in riding area but the app is saying that I am not in zone and it charged 2€ automatically from my account. While trying to chat with chat support, they are very poor at response. One agent promised me 2free rides as penalty along with 2€ refund but I haven't receive yet. Thanks for skipping promises dott. #annoying

The app is horrible. Even if you're standing on top of a parking spot it won't end your ride. The contact us option doesn't work. You are stuck for a half hour not able to end a ride.

pre authorization takes too long and makes it way too complicated to unlock a scooter when you're in a hurry. Do not recommend.

Decided to update my review, in the centre of Rome the scooters work very well, as soon as you move out the centre they seem to disintegrate in terms of reliability of the signal. Maybe with some more time and support they'll move up to a 5 star service

I purchase a 2 ride within 24h pass . So please note that I already paid and now own the pass. I try to unlock a scooter with it and it says that the payment failed.... 24h later still the same. No reply from support.
