With the Army Reserve's Double Eagle App (DE App) you can:

*Users can refer prospective Future Soldiers to a recruiter through the DE App. By activating the "Refer a Friend" feature button in the app, the user will be taken to an informational resource about opportunities in the Army Reserve, and then to Army Reserve recruiters through their fillable contact form for follow-up recruiting.
*Share your location and find other Soldiers, Family members, DA civilians, and Volunteers. You can disseminate information about upcoming Family Programs meetings and events.
*Create or message a group for your own team.
*Send push notification messages to user created groups, or structured discussion boards. This allows you to communicate with your group in an open or closed format to provide information or schedule events.
*Emergency Safety Check feature enables leaders or administrators to reach Soldiers by area or assignment.
*'Check-in’ when you arrive at a new duty station, exercise, operational event, Family Readiness function or other event.
*When a Soldier arrives on the ground at a training event, they will receive a specific information push notification “Check In” with command information.
*Whether general messaging or Double Eagle Six Traffic information is blasted to the Soldier, a range of multi-media can be sent, including photos and videos form Lt. Gen. Charles, D. Luckey, Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command.
*Compete in Challenges among a large group or select few Soldiers.
*Create and participate in live polling that will show performance metrics.
*Access Army Reserve Resources as a “One Stop Shop” using the “Resources” tab.

Why You Should Download the Double Eagle App:

*Leaderbook - Leaders will be able to manage information, message and send out alerts based on subordinate Soldier data.
*Soldiers will be able to utilize the “Resources” capability to access resources including self-help, mental health, veteran assistance POCs, and training reference information.
*Soldiers will be able to access discussion boards based on general staff functions (G-staffs), Major Commands, and Soldier Support systems (Family Programs, Suicide Prevention, SHARP) will provide professional discussion, push information including standards, training guidance, and resources.
