It sometimes doesn't turn off even with pro, it sometimes still shows in notification bar even when I have that option turned off, and the pro version opens the options to send every time I click it and it sometimes turns off when I am typing. But I do like it over other apps. Double tap during Facebook messenger turns off still even though I have that turned off.
Useless if you use fingerprint unlock, it will reject your fingerprint and ask for the pattern or whatever you chosed as a second locking style... and if you want to fix this problem with the special button in the app "fix fingersprint", the screen will go totally dim. A MAJOR HANDICAP. DISAPPOINTED.
It does what it says, but i have to enter pin after screen goes off. My phone is rooted so I'm looking for something which turn off screen with double tap. And then i can unlock it with fingerprint reader.
Great app. Works well. It would be cool if the app could also incorporate double tap to sleep on the lock screen. I would also like to see if there is a way to hide the Double Tap To Turn Off is displaying notification on the Galaxy S10. Thanks for this app.
App is good only if u do not use finger print sensor to unlock the phone. By giving the permission of admin to this app you are able to play the function of double tap but at the same time, finger print sensor will not work. You have to enter pin number to unlock the screen.
I am using it on my Huawei P30 Pro. I would have bought the pro version if clear view was not shown after locking the phone. Please try to improve on this and it will be a perfect paid app: Double tap to turn off screen and lock and double tap to turn on screen and unlock with fingerprint without any issues.
App asked for a few too many permissions, that made me uncomfortable off the bat. Then I noticed that if I wanted to uninstall it I was instructed to use this guys special "uninstall" button and NOT to try to uninstall it myself. So I ignored that and uninstalled myself, and it worked like a charm. When I had it installed my up/down time kept chugging and my touch haptics and phone response were extremely laggy. I uninstalled the app and that all went away. Seems like a data fishing attempt.
First thing that happens is a pop up ad, then you can't delete from the play store, or form your device, you have to delete via the app. Makes me think it probably left some random code behind. All in all, didn't even get to try it out. Because of ads. Skip this app.
A little annoyed at the constant pop ups when using messenger, and it can hinder me from pressing other keys. Maybe just completely remove the little warning sign since most of us have surely consciously made the choice to check out the "messenger exception" option?
It worked on a Vermeer but now on a Xiaomi A2 lite with Androidone, it's not reliable. It defaults to the setup pages alot which pulls up advertising apps not to mention wanting to reset the wallpaper. I gave up on it after an hour.
Unfortunately the app seems to mess with my fingerprint to wake up the phone. If the app is active I need to type in my PIN as well. Edit: With option to fix fingerprint issue being activated opton douple tap instead of display being turned off the clock is shown.
Very good app with the double tap to turn device off. Nice replacement since Sony removed the double tap feature from the Xperia XZ2 phone. App is very responsive and I use it all the time with no issues now.
This app and it's developer are mallicious at best. The app requires user data permition to detect double taps which is a complete lie, as that permision has nothing to do with double tapping detection. This app should be removed from the play store.
It works but it's very slow. Having to wait 5 seconds after the double tap to lock the screen kind of makes the whole thing useless.
Since I use a timer for lock, I want double tap to turn screen on and off, without actually locking. Double tap is useless if it requires PIN every time.
Works very well....plus my power button was bad...now i can add a floating button for it.....great.. Would be nice if it had floating volume keys too which is more rectangular than square one.
Every tap triggers multiple ads that can't be closed immediately. When using the app, I can't use biometrics to unlock (have to use pattern).
When the mobile is locked with your software, fingerprint and face recognition are disabled. But when the mobile is locked with the button itself, they are active.
needs update for android pie, messess up the auto brightness feature when double tapped. sets screen to very low brightness.. I would need to always reset the auto brightness setting to fix.
The app does exactly what it says, give it the necessary access and it works just fine. Double tap on the home screen and the screen goes off
Love this app. Would have given it 5 stars but recently, it keeps "shutting itself off", requiring that I go into the settings and restart it. It's a little annoying.
It is good and I will use it it. HOWEVER may need some further configuration options to allow system to distinguish between normal typing and double taps
Works but caused Fingerprint and Face Unlock to stop functioning on Galaxy S10+. When I lock phone with power / sleep by button, the fingerprint and face unlock function normally.
When we are locking this app it is forcing us to enter passcode, it is not accepting fingure print .... Could you please fix this issue... So that every one can use it.... But to be honest I am big fan of your apps
Saves so much battery power when you double tap the widget.This app is fire🔥🔥🔥.My only problem is the ads when going into the actual app but I know the pro version exists.I am sorry I can't buy the pro version as I don't have a working part time job yet.totally recommend this no joke.You will be suprised by the how battery you saved.This app is pretty much a battery saver.I love this guy.
The application is great in its response, but there is a problem that made me delete the application and I did not find a solution for it, which is when I lock the screen using the application, it asks me to put the password every time and I cannot unlock the phone by fingerprint I have to put the password every time I use the application Is there a solution ?
AMAZING APP!!! I'm a huge supporter of this company because all of their apps are so very convenient and easy to use. They are very useful and will make your life with a phone soo much easier.
So far I give a 3 I can understand the ads I'm happy their short other than that yes turns off screen and no does not turn it back on that's why in giving a 3 but I believe the maker can make it happen I have faith In this team! Good luck people
it fixed the problem caused by NovaLauncher, I'm glad for that. The 'clear view' option also fixed the fingerprint problem, but I don't really get what it supposed to show, mine is a double clock. I wish they enable some modification setting for this. Gazillion ads (every time you push back) sure could get in your nerve though, just be patient, developers need to eat too.
