How to use?
To download general files:
- Tap the Plus button and insert the URL link.
- Or you can click the file link and select to download with Download Accelerator Plus
To download MUSIC or VIDEO:
- Tap the Browser icon to open built-in browser
- Navigate to your favorite MUSIC/VIDEO website and play MUSIC/VIDEO
- The application will automatically catch the download link
- You can see a list of available download URL in the menu at the top right cornerPlease note that DOWNLOADING FROM YOUTUBE IS NOT SUPPORTED due to their terms of service
To refresh a dead link
- Method 1: add a new URL. The app automatically finds broken link in download list which is identical with the new one. You can select the option to replace and continue download progress or start downloading as a new file
- Method 2: long click on the failed task. Then select to refresh link in the context menu appearing. Enter the new URL to replace the old one
Clarification for Access Permissions:
- Network Connection (Internet Access) is for downloading file
- Storage (modify or delete contents on your USB storage) is for creating and storing downloaded data
- Camera access: take photo for QR code scanning.
- Control Vibration: create vibrating effect for necessary notification.

Ads won't close. The timer stucks at #5 so it won't skip. Can't even watch videos anymore or even click. It's like one click and one ad everytime I open an app. So annoying. I used to enjoy this but not anymore since the new update. It ruined everything.
use to be one of the best apps on Play store.. 6 Star rating.. now the moment it opens.. an add comes up.. and you cannot close the tab unless you shut down the program.. so you might aswell uninstall it.. and I tried this on different model mobile phone's and internet services.. exact same problem.. add.. unable to close.. what a complete disappointment.. and there was no update for this error to occur .. just randomly started.. so sad. Goodbye Downloader
The app is great. But some of the ads can't be close. The countdown timer on the ads does not change. Sometimes the X button cannot be click. I prefer the old version of this app.
I've tried numerous times to contact the developer, my diamond membership suddenly expired. I've tried restarting the device, uninstalling, reinstalling with nothing working. I have a Google pixel 2. Fully updated.
Update April 20th, 2020: The problem with premium account is once again solved. Edit April 7th, 2020: The "cannot verify transaction" just happening again. Original: Overall this is a great app. I purchased diamond membership for lifetime premium feature. However, for the last 2 months, premium features are stripped off with simple notification "cannot connect server to verify your transaction". Is it an error or shady business tactic? The app worth 5 stars without this problem.
It's previous versions were perfect especially for downloading when the internet is going hay wire,but the new version is not,because it lefts the uncompleted files and show them as a complite file.I mean when you resume downloading a file,the app finishes progress while the file is not complete.
Way back 10 years later DAP si still amaze me when it comes to downloading Videos... Its a matter of patience in learning the process... But still the best of I have known Video downloader I have used since 2008 if I am not mistaken. Please don't change for this app it really helps for us couldn't pay for expensive subscriptions... 👌👌👌 More power to app and the developers...

problem solved. let me check the app completely. (it was amazing. but, when the last time I installed it, I'm really disappointed because the ads can't be closed even after viewing it completely.)
The Web Browser Is Great. But Everytime I Want To Open A New Web Page, A Pop Up Appears Asking Me If I Want To Use The Built In Browser, Or Other Browsers Every Time Which Is Very Annoying. Could The App Not Do That Every Time So That Browsing The Internet Would Be Much More Easier For Everyone To Enjoy, And Use The Browser. Other Wise Great Job With The Built-In Browser.
Still not working. Adverts freeze the app and stops it from working. Still takes data from the page looking for even though you won't be able to see the page due to the advert being unable to close
Freaking thing actually works. I kept losing connection on downloads due to poor wifi and chrome would not resume downloads but this app repairs the broken link, resuming download where it left off.
I pasted a link in the browser. I got message that the site did not suport downloads when it was a mega link. I tried to uninstall. I could not find app in the list of apps with the name download acelerator. I did uninstall through google play.
The ads are annoying, in new version. When I click for browsing the Interesital ad is there and it is not closing also the ad timer is not working. I am not able to browse anything.
Very bad experience with this app the greedy devs completely destroyed their own app...how much money do you want from ads !! Even with ads When I download an app it shows that its a website so I should view it using another browser..but it is not a website..when I used other browser download started quickly... Good bye get the hell DAP :(
Great app overall due to it's consistant download speed (Mine at 1.5~2.4 mb/s). Combined with the fact it can also do multiple downloads with very little drop in download speed is amazing.
If you think like me then you said to yourself there's has to be a easier but yet an even more secure way to download videos. I'm sure you even said to yourself I wish there's an way for me to get these videos without having to sign-up or subscribe to an website giving up your personal information just to be able to download the content you want. Not only that this app will do that but it's totally private and discreet depending on what you are viewing. It's what your looking for so install it.
It doesn't work anymore it stays stuck at 99% then shuts down and crashes. It USED to be very good but now it's trash, it doesn't function properly.
The last update hurt this app so much. Idk what y'all did but it keeps freezing and won't open properly. Idk how many times I sent in a report. You need to address and fix this.
Unskipable ads are annoying but there's one thing worse than that, uncloseable ads. FFS FIX YOUR AD MAN. I literally have to restart the app everytime ad pops up because they're UNCLOSEABLE. I repeat UNCLOSEABLE
Very good software for android operating system we cap pause and resume the downloads whenever mobile data is available although this feature is not available in chrome browser because whenever we paus ethe downloads the file gets deleted and corrupted. Thank you
Purchased a 1 month subscription but the app still says I'm on the free version and says that it cannot verify the transaction because it can't connect to the server even if my internet's fine. Tried several times already.
So far, it performs as described. Without more time to explore or being able to explore premium, I'd have to say 3 stars. Could rise...could fall...could get uninstalled. More to come.
It's the best download manager but the notifications are very annoying because it keeps ringing the notifications tune continuously and when you stop them the information doesn't update on the notifications bar. Regards
was very good once upon a time, there has hardly been any updates recently, now the app is hanging, refusing to download videos, same videos download normally through chrome downloader. I'm confused as to what happened.
App is amazing, but the problem is sometimes I' cant download videos from some pages. Hope you will fix this problem soon. Thankyou for your attention to this message.
After the recent update, i can no longer load certain mirror links and for those that can, the video cant be detected. I dont recommend the update. More hassle than ease
Full of ads when opening a link. And the ads would not close so often clearing the ram and opening the app 5-6 times to use it properly.
The free version is decent but DON'T purchase the premium version as all it really does is remove ads. The "schedule" function is pretty much useless as (a) you still have to click each file one at a time to add it to the schedule (you can't upload a txt file and schedule all of them) and (b) every time I try to schedule a file, the app crashes. As such, a waste of 10 bucks IMO (and I couldn't cancel the purchase even within 30 minutes since it was an "in app purchase"...
