Close to perfect. The only gripes I have is that: (1) Threaded downloading is disabled by default. (2) There's no option to return to the main app from the browser without mashing the back button a million times. (3) The download speeds are jank and never work right. Aside from these issues, this is a pretty solid FOSS app :)
I found this one XDA..great that it's ad free. I tested it against 2 other download managers, both are ad supported. One of those I've used for years. This app had the most issues. It would get frequent 404 errors from the download links. Those same links worked fine w/ the other apps. It also struggled w/ download speeds. 3 minute downloads in the others, took 15-30mins in this app. It hasn't been updated in a few months, that makes me wonder if its abandoned.
This is a great download manager all around except with a few minor bugs 1. The button pause all only works for the files being downloaded and after pressing it it will stop the file I am downloading but leaves the other files that are in the list which haven't been started.which means if I have ten files in my list and am downloading one file at a time I would need to press pause all 10 times 2. Not sure but I can not add a link to my list without the app starting to download it???
open-source, ads free download manager, hope it stays like this or if adding ads, just non intrusive type of ads. Edit: the UI is also AMAZING, Im in love!!!! Edit2: remove one star for attention, can't be selected as an download manager for apps (for example Via Browser), ADM can be selected but Navi can't, maybe feature not implemented yet? will keep using ADM while waiting for reply.
It is always frustrating to find apps essentially stealing data. This app has no excuse for copying Android clipboard data, other than for data mining purposes. Not only that, the user cannot disable this behavior! Perhaps inform the user or get their consent before you violate their privacy? The arrogance of you people! I will just keep the app in a neutered state until I need to use it :D
I am using this app for many years, I'm facing only issue is this app not supporting resume option for even Google drive files. Please fix it. While other download managers supporting it.
very happy with the tool, found it on xda love the clipboard option would be Great to: - skip add dialog completely - remember previous download folder - have a batch download option (e.g. paste many links and create downloads automatically)
Thanks for the app I like the design of it but it misses some important options like "refreshing the link " when the download is interrupted. I hope you add this option soon
This is one of these best download managers around! I needed to download some reasonably big files and this app delivered. Take some time to learn this app. It's really damn good. Keep up the good work.
The Download Manager i was looking for, but scrolling through app drawer is a bit laggy and also the scr resolution looks to big on the home screen.
Your integrated browser needs some more work.Other than that, UI is great. Layout is great. Pretty much everything else is nice.
Dosnloads fail pretty often. Please provide an option to select default amount of threads, so we dont have to specifiy it for each end every download.
When you search a download manager, the play store will give you all the useless full of ads download manager results. Navi is by far the best for me moreover it's open source. The simplest! Navi deserves 5+ rating.
App can't differentiate file link or download page. Can't pause for wifi. Still a better app.
Works pretty well and gives good speed. Just one suggestion please remove that delete task button from the right side and just give only that long pressing way
Needs a lot of improvement, Android 9.0 pie notification is a mess. Also looks like the developer has abandoned this app. Sad to see that developers create excellent apps then left it as it is.
I will request the developer that all things are working perfectly but it does not deliver maximum speed of internet in downloading I have a 30mbps connection and usually i ger 3.5-3.6mBps speed but in this app I'm getting 3.2, Please resolve this
Really good app, but is missing on plugin support. This is the missing thing to be de definitive downloader for android
speed is slow, coz it doesn't download in segments /threads. But it's add free so 2stars. 👎
Amazing app. Deserves 5+. Boosted my download speed from an over loaded and slow server, almost 100 times. Really a great app.
Almost everything I download doesn't work. I update most of my apps by using APKMirror. This website doesn't work with Download Navi.
The app stopped generating automatic file name for Google drive files after this update. Please do fix it.
Great app! Is there a way to enable auto-download and not having to press "add" every time a download starts?
simple, beautiful and functional interface sums it all. And it's open source
I surely hope it'll be the best. Huge huge potential. Also, any plans for adding an auto link grabber?
It works perfectly well...In the latest update you added in-app browser. In that please add tabs option and also add an exit browser option.
Good app but it missed something. Please add support to set a default value for "Number of Pieces"
Others have claimed this app is fantastic but I'm not one of those lucky souls. In my experience the app only seems to recognize .htm files. A download tutorial is available but didn't help. ...My desktop has IDM and it works flawlessly, it even provides a download pop up when it detects a video in the browser. Why it's so difficult to find a mobile equivalent is puzzling.
