Dozzzer is highly configurable. Go for maximum battery saving or save but get all messages on time. Eager
- activates right after turning screen off Medium
- after 5 minutes of idle, messages may be delayed by ~7 minutesLazy
- after 10 minutes of idle, messages may be delayed by ~2 minutes
Why we ask for VPN?
Android does not allow controlling mobile data directly on Lollipop and later. We rather use a VPN as a firewall. The VPN is strictly local and does NOT cause any security risks!The good thing? VPN allows to exclude apps (e.g. Skype or Hangouts) from Doze (Lollipop only).
Dozzzer makes sense even on Marshmallow. With eager settings you can get even more out of your battery.

Dozzzer (and add-ons, if exist) or Greenify + Island (and other add-ons)? I need app "Caixa" for bank line purposes, but this evil one might be sniffing my phone activity. I need a way to totally freeze or even kill apps like that; (without unistalling them) and reactivate each oneonly when tapping in its icons. And freezing again after closing the app... Thanks!
Easy to use
App stops WiFi connections on versions previous to marshmallow what leads to problems on VOIP activities, such as whatsapp voice calls. It could solve this problem using root access for app exclusion. Suggestion. Please make adjustable time for activation after screen off. Many users needs shorter time such as 1 minute. App is no more being maintained and there is no updates for a long time
Works really well, saves bags of battery on my Moto G2. Set how much battery you want to save with options lazy, normal and eager. Eager saves more battery but notifications etc. are less frequent. Lazy is less battery saving but more notifications... This has really revived my phone which was feeling a bit old due to a decline in battery life. When I look at my battery use in the phone settings you can see the flat line when my phone is locked and motionless on the table and dozzzer has kicked in.
Finally! A battery saving app that ACTUALLY does what it says it does!! My battery life has increased exponentially since downloading this app. The best part is, I don't have to do anything for Dozzzer to work its magic. It runs in the background, increasing my android device's battery life! There's a noticeable difference in my battery drainage since installing this app. I would highly recommend it to any Android user.
51% of the time I have to switch the WiFi off and on again. It might be a problem with my device because its.. eh well "modded" to say the least.
Would be nice to a better explanation of what the difference between the 3 modes are, rather than just a vague description of two of them.
Seems useful but can't really tell whether it's working? Have it on Eager but the VPN keeps turning off so not sure if it's actually blocking data or not?? Have redownloaded this and the same issue remains, absolutely no idea whether this is actually working or not. I've manually started the VPN on a few occasions, but it doesn't seem to last.
The description of the modes wasn't very clear. Didn't seem to have a noticeable impact on my LG lucid running Android 4.0.3. Hopefully the effects become more apparent over time.
From 14hrs to 18hrs of usage with average of 4 hours screen on time. & Still approx. 20% remaining. I think it works! No app killing or anything like that. Just disabled wake on movement function within the app. Many Thanks to the developer.
I love this app. It does what it says on the tin, and it almost doubles my battery life. Note for people that have asked: the app only saves battery when the screen is off, even in eager mode Thanks Urbandroidâť•
vpn keeps closing after locking and unlocking the screen,im on cm13. fix that issue asap
The description of what the modes do can go either way, vice versa. So I have no idea what mode it should be on top save power. Also, I don't even know if it is working.
Very clean and easy to use app. The impact on my battery is not drastic but it is visible. Thus, I would recommend you give it a try.
Good. Need to use the built-in VPN for it to work. Saves my battery eater Nextbit Robin to last while I'm asleep. 1% discharge in 7 hours of me sleeping vs 50% without this app
S7 Edge. Only work at the the first time I try. I sent a message for my other mobile nothing notification I think the data is off but then not work anymore. When screen off notification always busy and VPN must be setting manual again next again.
I don't know how it's working but I am pretty much sure that it's extending the Battery life.
I'm on Marshmallow so I set it to the eager setting and allowed my messenger and cell broadcast to leak by.
It worked well at first, then I realised it doesn't block app data running at all. The vpn controlling isn't started automatically
Works very well only issue is It disappears sometimes when i unlock my phone 2-3 times in a row and I don't know if it is still running when I check on my lock screen
It's simple, but it seems to work well. When it's engaged, my battery usage graph plateaus. It could explain each mode a little better, though. There's very little information in the app.
Works so well I'm tempted to leave my cord at home! I drive 600 miles a night and use Waze all night.
Really good app and does what it says on the 'lid'(so to speak), but seems to delay screen on/off times drastically.

Very magical. Has not being updated for ages but it is still working like a charm. In fact it needs no updating. You won't notice it is there but you must notice that your battery has lasting longer than usual. This is better than all battery saver i have came accross in playstore even better than inbuilt battery saver. It doesn't bug the memory too. 5 stars.
