This app will change screen DPI just drag the slider to Left or Right to adjust DPI. You can restore your Default DPI anytime. You can also use volume buttons to control DPI. Just open this app and press Volume up or Volume down key to adjust DPI.

* Tap on Floating button on Right side to check your current Screen DPI.

So I had to download and install to find it does nothing, as other reviews have found. Then buried in the Help it says it needs Superuser permission. Meaning Rooted. So why not say up front?
Needs an Oreo update. Otherwords didn"t do a thing. Looks nice though.

Works fine on s5 5.1 rom. Requires press i to see current DPI every update. Improve by show list of DPI to choose, currently its just a blind slider.

After changing dpi, could not see "Yes, No" on confirmation message, it should be Green check and Red X to be visible.

Less control but very easily does the job. Well, I tried every single such utility in the playstore to try to quickly and conveniently adjust my android x86 resolution for android 8. This is the only utility that did the job. Since not every device might accept its settings, you can easily undo them. Therefore, 5 stars.
