DPI Density Changer
The init script it relies upon doesn't exist on Android 5.x, so either I have to fix it, or you can submit a pull request on GitHub. Don't expect it to work on 5.x.

I try to respond to ratings, but it's a very slow and inconsistent process. I check the email as frequently as I can, and I can push a fix for you right away. Lose your /system/build.prop? There's a backup in /data/data/com.oumugai.densityadjuster/, just copy it back from there.

Type in a new density, reboot to test it, and if you like the results, go back to the app and store it permanently. If you don't like the density, or something crashes, just reboot the device to restore your original settings.
I wanted a way to test different densities, but be able to reboot if the results were bad or broke my launcher and just have my old density back. This app does this, by simply restoring original build props during the boot sequence. It's not the most elegant solution, in fact, it's kind of gross, but it does mean you can change your screen's DPI while out on the town without ending up in a broken state (or having to bust out your laptop, USB cable, ADB and emacs you sad, sad person).
I don't like having to do extra work. You shouldn't have to either. Don't get stuck with a device with an unusable display.

This is the best DPI changer app I've used to date. Works very well, and flawlessly. Keep it up, devs! --- Also, don't give this app a lower review because it apparently bricked your phone. No. The DPI settings most likely bricked your phone, which would also happen from manual build.prop editing and even Texdroider.
i downloaded the app as soon i change the resolutions my phone shut down and is unless it turn on and all it say un s view stop working i cant do anything i tried a master.reset and still this app brick. My.phone
Don't download this!! It can brick your android system. I was try to download this i want to change my density from 160 to 213 and after reboot i cant open my password because the keypad does not work with new density so i must go to factory reset and after reset my android get bootloop so i must go to service center Because THIS APPLICATION!! I HATE IT!! I didn't want to change my density anymore again!!
It's dangerously vauge about m how the reboot is suppose to work. I set a dpi of 340 from 240 and the reboot should have reset it but didn't.
It work well with my Lenovo S860.. the most important thing is we should know the right dpi for our phone
1 problem i have is if i reboot the phone and i changed the dpi too low, i cant access all the buttons to enter the pin code.. the pin code screen is not changed. My solution was to deactivate the pin code before i change the density. Running Htc m8
Some people have rated this app to be good and working well they are right it works but only in breaking, bootlooping, damaging devices! Nice work.

My motherboard broke so I had to send it in for repairs
Works!! But effect to some stock apps like camera and stock keyboard. I cant use Xposed coz its incompatible with TW 5.0+ yet.
I use it on Note 4, default is 640, i find 480 to be perfect. Highly recommend.
Another keyboard from playstore i have the go keyboard which adjust to the screen display.
I m not getting option to save new density
I kinda have a problem, i tried to save my density, but it keeps saying there is a problem persisting the density? I just need a little help thx :)
If u turn up your desnsity too much keypad wont work I had this problem but I solved it

This app is flawless, does what it supposed to. Really does deserve 5 stars.
This app is bad theres a lot of people saying that this is nice up but its true is not so good because my phone was broken because of this app what i am gonna do if i will master reset it still not working
It does the job, but it wouldn't revert back the dpi after reboot.

When I launched this app on Note 4, it had 640 dpi... Now after some experiments I can't get this value back... Because 500 is max value as stated there... could you fix this ASAP? PS: Thanks that works now! :)

Guys plz install this app its really awesome apps but problem is this that I can't change my density to more then 130 if I did more then 130 reboot it says unfortunetlly system URL has stopped before my density was in 120 low I can't even make screen record also but now I made 126 it say u r density is medium I now I can make screen records but still now also its slow but better then before
