Installed to recover deleted text messages, then paid for the premium version because the trial version doesn't support recovery. After paying $7.99 to upgrade, the app still wouldn't work to recover anything because my phone is not rooted. I can't get a refund because it was an in-app purchase. Complete rip off.
The worst. The phone app requires "rooting," and that entire process is akin to Frodo trying to carry the ring up to Mordor. Using the computer app simply doesn't connect on my phone no matter how many troubleshooting tips I try and the developer options set. The support person just directed me to a labyrinth of nonsensicle steps that don't even work. I will save you the hours of trouble: THERE SIMPLY IS NO EASY WAY IN 2019 TO RECOVER YOUR DELETED TEXTS. They are lost. Accept it.
Galaxy S7 not supported! Downloaded the app onto my phone and computer as Dr.fone suggested. Paid for the $6.99 service which I thought would transfer my deleted text messages I'm trying to recover. They offer services up to $99! After all that, then as I'm trying to transfer/search for files come to find out my Galaxy S7 is not one of the phones supported (very limited devices supported, Galaxy ends at S6) I'm going to request a refund. Waste of time!!!
Doesn't Perform as Expected. I wanted to copy ripped files from my HDD to my Android phone. After an hour of struggle, it seems that's only possible if I have itunes. I don't. I paid for the software (should have done the free trial first), and now can't get my money back. Garbage experience.
App Does Not Work. It only connects to my phone half the time, when it does, it only gets 2/3 of the way through scanning before it encounters problems. When I tried to provide feedback (per the website), it crashes when I hit submit. Do not waste your time or money.
Do not install this app on your phone or PC if you are expecting to get what you pay for!!I did a factory reset on my phone because of hardware issues and it wasn't until I tried to restore my data that they asked for money. So I bit the bullet and paid the 30$😲 license fee for only 5 devices on 1pc. Then it wouldn't restore my data, it just kept crashing. I contacted support and they told me to restore things one category at a time because their high-dollar program has issues with large files.
Another (nearly) worthless app. Actually does scan the sd xsrd for photos, videos, etc., but is COMPLETELY USELESS for backing up data to cloud, email, other devices, etc. YOU MUST CONNECT DEVICE TO A PC TO BACKUP DATA. Other features only work on rooted devices. Not sure if i can keep this...
sounds good on the surface but makes it impossible to try the free version. after a lot of time and supposed recovery, app makes you jump thru hoops trying to get a login credential. their security cert is out of date so essentially there is no free to try. Don't waste your time unless you're willing to drop $$ on a hope.
Absolute time wasters! I spent 2 hours using the app & pc download to find an audio file I accidently deleted. Sitting that long at my pc as a disabled person with excrutiating pain is not good! So I go through the process via the phone to be told it's not rooted! Then, when I do it through the SD card & try to save the list of audio files showing, am told it'll cost $39.99 to get it! This is not shown on the pc app!! I'm APPALLED with this. Thanks for wasting my time and causing me more pain!
I downloaded this app in hopes of recovering the photos and videos that got deleted from my phone's SD card when it was no longer registering on my phone. I'm kind of pissed off right now. I downloaded this app to recover those photos and videos and it will not let me recover them unless I buy the premium version. I couldn't even get a free trial just to get my files back. I had to pay $7.99 to get the trial. Now I've lost all the photos and videos of my nephews that I had on my phone.
Maybe cause I purchased a subscription, but I found it recovered windows xp, 7, 8.1 n 10 data,; photos docs apps with old facilitation uses, and Android the same, from phone to phone, old numbers I had forgotten, root recoveries, so it may cost a little to have the performance you need but at least I know I paid, not as much given to google or amazon, no authorization charges using bank as their atm, n as if the need it, notice the price in authorizing back or cards went up from . 01 to. 10 cent
Absolute scam! When you try to recover files it tells you you need to pay $10 for the premium version, after to you do that, it asks you to download the program on your computer which then tells you you need to purchase a $99/year license to continue. I will never be using anything from Wondershare again.
Worst app. When I selected deep recovery it is showing "get desktop companion". It had two options "input your email address" or "download it in desktop". I chooses to input my email address because my computer was malfunctioned. But when I typed my gmail address it is showing enter "valid email id".I typed it again and when I pressed the "next" button a white appeared showing "poor connection". I had full network strength and now also it is showing this message. I don't recommend it to anyone.
Subscribed to transfer data from iPhone to Android, it failed to success and tried several ways. Contacted support team with no response. Requested refund and no response as well. Also, they will automatically save your credit cards data for auto renewal. Luckily I cancelled this feature. If you want to loose money, go ahead and good luck.
Incomplete. I used Dr.Fone to root an old device. To do so, I had to enable USB debugging. The OEM requires asking EVERY time to enable USB debugging. After rooting, I fail to see why there is any request made to enable USB debugging. Why didn't rooting "fix" this? I made a small mistake but cannot reload any backup or any new main image because USB debugging has to still be interactively approved. Also the rooted system will not self recover. It cannot connect to the Internet.
This app doesn't do anything. You have to go to a computer to try to get anything done. Whats the point in installing an app thats supposed to retreive lost messages, photos etc without one?...you're supposed to be able to root the phone too but forget that too! Sends you to go to the desk top...what a crock this app is
Doesn't recover anything you couldn't easily recover yourself. I updated my native SMS messaging app and lost 3 years of texts and contacts. This app does nothing for that sort of situation. If you are completely ignorant of android technology, it might help but $8 to recover nothing is ridiculously overpriced.
This did nothing for me. It's not compatible with my phone model and after i delete my photos they just keep reappearribg. Also it seems to have written my deleted files over the corrupted files i was hoping to recover. Completely screwed everything up. Do NOT use this software if you don't have a Samsung.
I paid for the application via Google play. I have a ZTE 982 with an updated software. When I accessed my paid for application on any option available that I had to download a computer version. The reason I purchased this application is because I have no computer!!! I emailed a request for refund. This is lying in a nut shell! Hey purchase my product but oh yeah you then gotta go buy this to make it work!!! Don't waste your time nor money on this.
Useless, pointless app. It looked very easy and promising on the website, but NO. It's way harder. The very moment after you download, it will ask to pay. Then it wants us to go to browser on desktop blablabla. What's the point of downloading this then?
I paid £7.49 for this. When I ran it on the phone it said the phoned wasn't rooted ( a hard thing to do) and I should go to PC version, They'd send me an email or go to their site. No email so downloaded from site. It ran the scan, said that because the phone wasn't rooted it couldn't restore deleted photos!! I used another free trial app and it restored most of the photos no problem. What exactly is Dr.fone for?
this app does not actually root the phone. it is just simply a link to the windows version that might root the phone but there is no guarantee and your windows version says that my phone isn't supported anyway so I'm definitely disappointed and I even hear that you're charging over $7 with no refunds for the premium version so please be a little bit more honest and reasonable when you release rooting apps because many people really need root and a lot of people just kind of make fun of that
Waste of money!! I downloaded this in order to recover my deleted contacts, but I'm not able to access them because the device needs to be rooted. I paid the 7.99 for the premium software, just to find out that the rooting software doesn't support IOS, only Microsoft. I want my money back
Purchased in app upgrade and went through all these extravagant steps to find that my phone model isnt supported by the app. Now I'm out 10$ and lost hours of my life I'll never get back and the subscription is a recurring charge so now I get to figure out how to find someone to talk to about canceling
It was able to find a lot of pics and videos on my phone that I had not been able to find otherwise. Besides that, it is recommended to be connected to the desktop version of this app as there are way more functions available to you that way.
Tried this recommended app for the free backup and restore feature. Did a factory reset, went to restore files from the backup copy on my PC, and suddenly it's going to cost $20. Suspicious, i looked for more reviews of Dr. Fone and found it called a scam. Immediately tried uninstalling it from my PC, but it wouldn't let me uninstall it completely, and it keeps popping up windows on my screen. Now worried about my info in bad hands.
