DRAGOMAN 2.0
DRAGOMAN is an App for Android devices that incorporates and organizes the specific technical vocabulary in the English language for the Computer, Electromechanical and FP Gastronomy specialties of the Itá Ibaté Technical School.
Its intention is to facilitate access to this information of interest and contribute to significantly reduce the degree of ignorance that students in 4th, 5th and 6th grade have on these topics.
The menu buttons of the App respond to the specialties of Computer Science, Electromechanics and F.P Gastronomy that are taught in the Itá Ibaté Technical School and the vocabulary content comes from the work of inquiry of students in the Technical English II curricular space.
Some of its outstanding features are voice recognition, Yandex translator of words or sentences and; the link with social networks so that users can request to incorporate words or suggest modifications to the prototype.
The application not only publishes static information but also incorporates dynamic information that is updated thanks to the integration of different available technology platforms and efficient programming.
Although “Dragoman 2.0” is born with a strong institutional imprint, its structure can be applied to other Technical Schools and specialties of Professional Technical Education
