The 20 second time out really needs to be adjustable for those of us who need to think before speaking. With as much as the subscription costs, that should be an adjustable function. Transcription itself is great, but I don't know if I can deal with constantly having to turn the mic back on.

This is a great app for transcription. A simple 3 minute video explains the bulk of voice commands. Transcription level is near flawless. The only reason I didn't give a higher rating is the record button turns itself off after a minute in silence. I have to keep turning it on to record. I'd like to be able to adjust settings on the timing of the record button. I plan to buy the desktop and get the year's free anywhere app, because it's a hefty monthly fee.

I'm so disappointed with this application, Poulan accessibility app it's quite inaccessible. What I mean is that it's a copy and paste stand-alone piece of kit. Why does it not integrate with WhatsApp or text? All I want to do is press the microphone button on any of the above or emails and have it write my voice. This is very frustrating for dyslexic. Someone else said that's the PC version is very good, I don't disagree with that, so why can't this integrate ? RRRRRRRRR.

Doesn't seem to allow dictation directly into other applications, and there is no "dictation pad" function as in desktop version. I use these features frequently on dragon desktop. Also, for mobile would be nice to be able to "start dictation" with voice command. The microphone turns off without warning after some period of time and requires tapping on the screen - not always convenient for a mobile app. As in the desktop version - the quality and accuracy of dictation is extraordinary. The user interface ... not so much.

Has great potential and works well in part. However after 2 hours on a site dictating and taking photos for it to delete the whole document on two separate jobs is just not acceptable. You need to either be able to "undo" or retrieve previous saved versions.

UPDATE: Nuance responded but were rude and they thought I'd used the wrong process/procedure to contact them, when in fact I have faithfully followed their directions at every stage. I'm not sure what's wrong with them at the minute - maybe the company has brain fog? Anyway, a shambolic, waste of time experience - very, very disappointing and thoroughly pitiful. NOT RECOMMENDED Can someone at Nuance help me to end my free-trial please. I tried the software and it was awful so I don't want to pay for it. I boiught it off Google Play on my PC in the UK. When I try to access my subscription settings in the app it tells me I'm not a US customer and to go to the Nuance european store. When I try to login there, it says that I'm a US customer When I try to login in there, it says I'm a European customer. How on earth am I supposed to cancel my account going round and round in circles like that? HELP!!

Same experience for me. Have dragon on my computer (desktop) and works like a dream. Installed this thinking it would work much the same and it just doesn't!! I have spent hours trying to disable this, unsubscribe etc. I've been on the phone to Nuance dragon, I have tried to contact the customer support to no avail and this is highly frustrating, especially for a person like myself who has eye diseases and has to be careful with screen time (whole reason I purchased this!) PLEASE HELP!!!

I am a historical user of PowerScribe 360 applications with lots of success and accuracy. I would like to see nuance create a keyboard-based app that can be selected as default on Androids and other devices that would allow an ongoing lexicon that could be edited similar to PC-based applications. If Google was to do that as far as I can tell they would own the market, so you guys better do it first.

Adequate app. Voice recorder is among the best out there. A major problem is the microphone turning off to preserve battery life. Yes, I understand there is a warning beep and I understand the purpose behind it. But I'm one of those people that takes a while to gather thoughts before I speak and this feature proves distracting and not worth it. Additionally It seems impossible to re-subscribe once the subscription is canceled.

I purchased Dragon Anywhere as soon as it was available. I found it a little clunky compared with Dragon Professional, which I have used for many years. In particular, I could not sync my phone with my Dragon Professional instance. Sometime during the pandemic my subscription came due and I chose not to renew. When the subscription ended, to my surprise, all of the notes that I had dictated became unavailable. More recently, I have better finances and wanted to renew the subscription -FAIL. Dragon support tells me that since my subscription was cancelled, I have to use a different email address to create an entirely new account. There is no way to restart a subscription.

It's almost fantastic, but it's not. the quality of the voice recognition is top-notch. I love being able to do things like select and change a word easily. The subscription price is high, but for the right tool, I'm okay with that. Here's the problem... after two days of using it, it twice lost documents that I had spent half-an-hour transcribing. It had the "saved" check-mark in the upper right corner, but lost the documents anyway. :-(

Great App... when it works I like this app, when it works, but for what I get, it is overpriced and not worth it. This is the 4th time that midway through the subscription, the app tells me that 'Subscription has expired' and that the microphone is disabled. I am tired of having this recurring problem and intend to not renew my subscription. I've been using Dragon products since 2008 and am deeply disappointed that they cannot get this one right. If Dragon cares about this glitch they will fix it and contact me.

Worst experience in the world with the online order. Orders never went through and customer service was awful. Was given the loop twice to no avail. What a waste of time. My reply... Yes I was put through to your authorized team. They promptly put me through to another and another representative. And finally a hangup. Worst experience ever. It started when your application couldn't get through the subscription renewal, that locked up and wouldn't process. Messed up..

Such a shame - I really wanted this to work. However after an hour of effort the accuracy is terrible, even with a decent Plantronics headset and zero background noise, not to mention a secure wifi connection in my home. I don't have time to keep going back and correcting gibberish, after the long pauses as I wait for the app to process my words. This program is not a timesaver. At least I was offered the free trial to see how bad this was before spending any money.

The voice pick up and accuracy are great. Tools are poorly set up and take a bit to figure out. DOCUMENTS ARE NOT AUTO SAVED. Three hours into a book dictation and the app stops responding and closes. Then everything is gone. I have unsubscribed and am uninstalling for Google docs. Won't be as accurate but I have to go back and correct some on anything I have ever written. Don't waste your time until an auto save is added.

This is normally a fantastic app...except when Nuance's internal issues produce a false message that: 'your subscription has expired'. This is apparently a recurring issue, as I found comments from June with other upset subscribers outlining the same issue. Nuance is an industry-leader in dictation software, and it works fantastically when it runs smoothly. It would just be nice to see them take greater measures to have their mobile software keep pace with their exceptional desktop software.

FURTHER UPDATE: Problem has come straight back. And knowing where exactly to report the problem is just such a mystery. I'm fearing that my days with Dragon are coming to an end. Update: Dragon resolved this situation quickly and effectively so it's all good again. Thanks to David and Will for doing the needful. And, to reiterate, the app works really well - and it takes a lot less 'voice training' than you might think. My earlier review: I like this app, but today it has started telling me that my subscription is cancelled, even though next renewal date is not for seven days. I can't find an email address or a phone number for Irish customers. Can someone help me? As I said, the app has worked really well for months, it's just this support issue that concerns me now.

I have had the same problem that many others have reported -- The app is disabled. There is an error message stating "Subscription Has Expired" even though my monthly subscription has almost three weeks to run. This was a good app when it worked but for me it is currently an expensive (A$22.99 per month!) but useless piece of junk. Meanwhile, Nuance Support say this is a know issue but still insisted that I send a copy of records proving payment -- apparently they can't access the accounting information they need to verify that a subscription is current! Are they for real?Don't buy this app until this problem is fully resolved.

Accurate. Two major issues. 1) The app stops listening after just 20 secs, making it difficult to use for anything besides consistent speech. This time limit is not adjustable. As a student hoping to use this for notes, this one flaw makes it almost useless. 2) Not integrated with any other app. Google Docs and Word have decent free transcription built in, why pay for the hassle of exporting docs in and out of a proprietary app? Something like Gboard with customizable listening time I'd pay for.

Accuracy is not great, and the abillity to learn your voice patterns to increase accuracy over time doesn't exist in the mobile version. Addding new words to your dictionary barely works, making the program utterly useless if you are writing about anything that isn't standard dictionary terminology. Frankly, i don't see any use for this program. Which is a shame, because i was hoping to use it to do creative writing while on hikes.

So far, terrible. It doesn't understand half what I say while learning 1)Why not have a short voice training module for first-time use? It would allow writing document without it not understanding my voice/accent & me annoyed & reediting text. Thank goodness it's a free trial. 2)It keeps going back to main Login page between documents. Don't send me 'sorry' from Customer Service. Put this basic info on the screen when you open it for 1st use. With tips.

I use Dragoon on my desktop with great success. BUT on my Android (and I have the latest version), it gets about 50% wrong. The speech to text built-in function on the Android OS keyboard is better than Dragon. And the built in speech to text is free. For 14.95/month, the app needs to be really good. unfortunately it's not. I DO give the desktop version 5 stars.

Useless on my Huewei p20. It constantly crashes and won't allow me to dictate. I have tried uninstalling and downloading again, it made no difference. I thought it was working OK on my Samsung tablet but have since discovered that's not the case. It crashes at least once during every use, and it is extremely slow and glitchy. It also refuses to recognise my accent. Charging £10.99 a month for something as ineffective as this app is hillarious and frankly disgusting.

I was having issues renewing my subscription. I reached out to support and Will helped me out! If anyone else has no option to resubscribe after subscription is expired and reinstalling the app, make sure to turn off automatic restore of apps in your backups and then reinstall. Worked like a charm for me. For the app itself. It is very straightforward and helpful when I need to transcribe my work on the go.

One of the biggest annoyances is that if you cancel your subscription and then wants to resume it later on, there is no way you can do it through the app!!!! Tried to contact support and they were awful, not even trying to help, the lady said oh you just need to creat a whole new account!!! This just doesn't make any sense!!!!

It worked just fine until - it doesn't. I press the microphone button and say a word it restarts and the button is red again. Every f*** time! I tried everything: Restarted the app, the phone, uninstalled/reinstalled (lost all my documents) - nothing works. I really thought this app is what I've been looking for. They charge big for a piece of bugs.
