Turns move slowly, the pop ups for turn changes are frustrating and stop you from reading card effects. The app freezes up completely on use of most card effects and improperly activates or triggers other card effects. Over all, this is a very lack luster and poorly constructed attempt at emulating things like mtga and the online Pokémon tcg.
Great tutorial game easy to learn. I did not know how to play whats so ever, but this game has taught how to play. It mostly the basics about combo, energy, attacking and defence. You can even go on a free battle with not tutorial to see what you learn. These people that rated 1 or 2 just want everything handed to them its not difficult to learn. Only reason i gave a 4 was because the decks are outdated but over all good app to learn the mechanics of the game.
I want some more cards in this game and it's so powerful, I know this is a great game and I have to win and beat gogeta and get new cards. I'm really good on this game pls don't forget to get this game, also be careful what you doing.😁 AND BEAT GOGETA! I rate this 5 stars is awesome, thumbs up in this game, also had a great time playing!
it looks nice but I dropped it to just read the manual instead of taking you through step by step in a game they throw you straight into a game and not with not having clue what's going on isn't a good way to start in my opinion. and there are some texts that come up that say what's gonna happen next and disappear too fast to read.
It's a good for new people that started playing this game (like me). I just wished the game gave us more things than a tutorial. Like when you open a pack of dragon ball super card pack. You get a code so you can get cards digital. Also give us more content for the game. Thank you
Really fun app, I would love for there to be a full game/app where we can play against other players or even just more CPU decks! Animations and gameplay is really simple and fun, besides a few mistakes with card effects like afterimage, the app is well made.
im glad they updated it, but the players should be able to choose the cards they want in their deck. Even if this game wont let you play against other players, maybe the game could let you play against a computer, randomized decks or decks the player makes. But for a tutorial this is great.
I am a completely new player. I wanted to learn rules and how to play. The game gives u training wheels to the point you get lost on what is going on. It just gives u instructions like place this here and use this here. It didnt help me at all really. Maybe i missed something but when i complete 1 tutorial and learn nothing and free battle doesnt let me actually play without direct instructions and still lost.
Game is great... but I think I can speak for many... every Beginner Structure Deck and Expert Structure Deck should be in this game... 1000%... and you should be able to use any of those decks vs the computer again being able to choose who you face.
great graphics, the "game" is obviously well done, the only issue is that everything happens too fast(dialog screens etc) and there is no proper structure to anything happening to fully appreciate and learn. Guess I will resort to youtube videos....
This app is terribly made. You can't read the cards, it auto moves on so you can't read descriptions, half the time it doesn't tell you what needs to be done so you can't move on unless you guess. This app is supposed to teach you how to play the card game but in reality, makes it more confusing. Garbage app.
Card game is good, app could definitely be better. There are times I would like to view a card but the game won't let me, and I am forced to make a yes/no decision. Also, please change the SSB Gogeta card effect that lets him kill all battle cards. I suggest that if he kills a battle card he can restand. I realize that is probably the real card effect but with premade decks it makes fighting Gogeta nearly impossible. Also, letting us use the Gogeta deck would make the game much more interesting.
A good tutorial for new players. There ar only a few issues, however. The game is not up to date with the latest additions to the card game, with multicolour and unison cards being one of them. What saddens me most, is that Namco wont invest a digital platform for this card game where players can play against each other online. More people are joining the card game as we speak and a online platform would be superb.
I really liked the tutorial. But I would like to see if we can have a Super game similar to Duel Links. Or at least make a Dragon Ball Heroes version of the game on Android tablets and phones.
It's a cool tutorial but I'm having a problem not being able to play a card from my hand for a combo or battle card when it tells me to. What the heck? the most I can do is press down on the card to look at it and that's it. Please fix that issue!
Only thing would be better if they was just a mobile version of the game.. this game was fun and taught you how to play for sure, but with all the other card games in the app stores, this would and could compete easily if made into a full game.
Why is this not a full fledged game? Like, literally. Why would you go through the motions and effort of putting all of this together just to make it a tutorial? Look at what Pokemon TCG Online is doing. Its almost the same thing but this falls sooooooo short of its potential. Just run crossovers with other games for extra revenue and push advertisement that way, as well.
Its good but needs some stuff. Good to get started and the hang of the game but kind of slow game play but nothing terrible, i just wish i could customize the decks and use my own cards so i could get better with the deck i have. And playing online against others would be a nice update. Needs more updates.
Trash...Xenoverse is more fun than this and I can't stand Xenoverse The ORIGINAL DragonBall Z card game was more fun than this. Stick to the Manga, the Series, and the games on the PlayStation....(Trust Me) I'm saving you time, energy and phone space that could all be used for something totally different. I'm only giving it a star because they won't let you post your comment without one, but if it were my choice, if Rotten tomatoes had a "Gaming area" This one would be "Pick to Throw away"
Needs at least the option to purchase some other decks or something give us a bit of expansion, I play this all the time because the game is great fun but the problem is I've done every strategy against every opponent and won so now I need more
This is a really easy way to learn how to play the game quickly. A suggestion; it would be awesome if you could turn it into a fully fledged game so you can create and test decks without needing other people to play with.
The UI is terrible and for a "tutorial" it doesn't explain anything effectively. You are better off just losing to the AI in the end to learn. I really wanted to get into this game. Looks like that's not happening
IF YOU ARE AN IDIOT STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP! Haven't tried it myself, but I'm giving it 5-stars just to offset the idiotic 1-star reviewers that never realised it's a tutorial. The point of it is to get people interested in the game so they'll buy the cards. I'd categorize this as promotional software.
Did you try your app before releasing it?! There's a banner with text that can not be read at all cuz it goes too fast. It appears at each step during tutorial gameplay. ( I did the 1st one) It'll be better to let the user to close once it's read.
It's very good but with these new skills particularly the Unison Warrior Series. They need to add the new skills like the Invoker and Successor from Universal Onslaught, Unison Cards from Unison Warrior Series, Unison Tag Teams, Overload and Servant from Vermilion Bloodline, and Rejuvenate from the Vicious Rejuvenation will help this tutorial up to speed for new players including me to understand.
I really love this tutorial and like most I hope it gets a full App release. I understand this game includes physical cards and duels but people like me who work all the time and have family dont have time to set up real life matches. even if you charge like 4.99$ or micro transactions would be fine I'd still buy this game!
great way to learn the game. would be awesome if they added all the starter decks so you could learn all the different styles of playing and card types. (ie over realm or dragon balls)
People seem to miss the fact that this is a tutorial. Its not for players that have played for a year. Yes, you can play the matches to pass the time, but its a tutorial. It does its job, and voting it down for now allowing you to disable notifs or not having more decks, is just bad. I give it 4 stars, as some texts comes up too fast to read.
