I played the original on PC, and I tried to play mobile before when it first came out. To be honest, I didn't like the experience. But playing it again now, I think it improved a lot and I'm really enjoying playing a cute killing machine. The only thing I don't like so far are the voice overs. Dialogue is completely different from text, and if I try to skip next it will still keep talking on top of the next dialogue. Affects game story immersion.
Honestly for a mobile game it's pretty amazing. I would say that it is very faithful to the original, and it plays almost the same, albeit with the scale toned town a bit. My only minor gripe is that I feel the skill buttons could perhaps be arranged in a way to allow more then 5 toggleable skills. This might just be me missing the old keyboard controls though. Amazing game!
Currently unstable servers. The game is similar to the pc mmo, but the differences lie in how the characters act. The precision characters are severely underwhelming in this game, so you're better off with ranged characters with wide aoes. It's a fun game, when it works. At the time of this review, I can't even access the game due to some server error. Expect that a lot I guess.
I've been searching for an outstanding MMORPG for years on Android and this is absolutely the best! There's no doubt about it, and it's the closest experience I've had to a true PC MMO experience. No pop up ads, non intrusive UI with beautiful animation and graphics throughout. I rarely write glowing reviews but this deserves the praise!
For once a virtual joystick which actually works. Good job on that one, no other game has gotten it right. But I still prefer just point-and-click. However, thete are issues. One is I detest random drops from levels, especially when an item is needed for daily tasks. Just give the item, or don't. Not just a chance it may drop, this is bad design! Refuced to one star because cerberus is not working, which is needed for items and daily tasks, and in game support is an utter failure (not working at all). In addition you have to reduceblogin times, today it took 8 minutes just to get into the game, this is unacceptable, it should NEVER take more then 30 seconds!!! Several monigames do not work properly and TIMED events at a certain ToD belong in the 1990's, not now. To me it seems you are utterly incompetent to make a proper game. Due to hou not making dailt events permanently available I will not spend a dime on this.
My experience bar has been completely stalled, no experience has been gained at all. This is a waste of my time, and the in-game customer service is poor. The game itself has many issues, first being the voice acting. The subtitles do not match the voice acting at all. It ruins the immersion. Secondly, the game does a poor job of welcoming beginners. The tutorial is half-baked, only giving the barebone details. The descriptions of things are really vague and the grammar is bad.
Overall great game, I haven't gone extremely deep into it yet, but it is fun, and I love the combat, and the story isn't to bad either. Only thing I'm not a huge fan of is some of the voice acting. It's okay in many cases, but some were not very good. The game is still fun, and I can recommend trying this game. It's a good action based combat mmo, with decent cartoony style graphics. The beginning does seem linear, but it opens up a little bit later.. I do wish it was more open world feeling like order and chaos, and Villagers and Heroes but it's pretty decent. If this is all your thing, definitely check this game out.
Ok, so this is my honest view towards the game... Holy hell! You devs have absolutely blown me away! I mean you have made a game that shouldn't even work on a phone! EVERY other game that tried to be this one has either been of less effort, or has failed all together. I give 5/5! Keep it up geniuses! I have to add something to this review. The vegetation (trees, flowers, etc.) And the overall environment was tackled and executed beautifully! Again, keep it up.
I used to play this game on PC, however the EU West sever closed down and I was so gutted. When I saw dragon nest on Android I was so excited and I must say it exceeded my expectation The graphics are amazing, the gameplay, maneuver and options of characters are great Whilst there is a lot to take in and a lot of different currencies in the game I'm sure with time put into the game, it will become simple Overall, my first impression so far is that it's really good and is on par with the PC.
Absolutely lovely and it makes a lot of fun to play solo or in parties. There a lot of things to do like mini games and so on so it never gets boring. I removed 1 Star just for one reason: it is bit of a money-making game. The in-game currency is quite expensive. If you like to buy a full costume for your char you need to spend around 50$ for it. That feels a bit like a ripp off. And of course you can buy progress items as well which it makes you feel the game is a bit pay to win. Otherwise if you are really patient you can get the same progress as like those who pay for it.
Beautifully, enticing game!!! I can get lost for hours in this game. There is always something you can be doing to level up or earn free...FREE..items!!!. The graphics are amazing. The controls took a minute to get used to, but not too difficult. Everyone should give this game a go!!!
I made purchases but received nothing. My money was taken from my account and still received nothing. I've contacted their integrated customer service but no reply; it's been well over 24 hours. I contacted their Facebook, no reply as well. I've made multiple purchases in the past to stay ahead on my server, but now being unable to top up, I've fallen behind. So what was the point of topping up in the first place? In short, there's an issue, I pointed out the issue, and it wasn't fixed. If you have money and are competitive, save yourself a headache and time by NOT downloading this app. Terrible customer service.
Ever since games moved to mobile devices I've looked for a good MMO-RPG and I've always been disappointed because every game seems like they have 4 classes but they always play the same "push this button and you win". this is the first phone game I've played where the classes are fundamentally different. so you actually have to learn how to play each character and decide how to build them for your style. I wish I had more then 500 letters. Because this game deserves a better explanation.Have Fun!
I I like the game because if it's graphics and color and it's a pretty easy going to pick up. although you don't have facial customization you do have clothing customization which still gives you your personal avatar on this game which lets you still stand out from other characters.as far as customization the only thing I would add to this game is to able to change genders amongst the classes. And even though it's not in open-world MMO the gameplay makes up for it. It's a good example of quality over quantity.
The gameplay is really solid, the controls aren't bad, and the concept is a good idea. The only real gripes I have are as follows: 1. The in game currency is super expensive I think. The daily items you can buy with the in game currency will make you go broke real quick if you're not paying attention. 2. When casting abilities sometimes the toon will randomly turn to a direction no enemy is and you waste the ability all together. The auto target needs a serious update. 3. I made a purchase of 12.99 for the just over 5k diamond deal. I only received 1.8k diamonds and have had no contact from the support team at all about fixing the issue. This seems like a really sleezy way to make money if they're not going to deliver on the customer purchases. It needs to be fixed or some type of accountability needs to be put in place to hold companies like this accountable for the sleezy tactics used to make money.
There was heart and soul put into the game, despite the million buttons format, there was at least a solid attempt to make something different. and they keep improving the game as well, I can't wait to see what updates they put into the game. there is the minor flaw of the voices not matching the text, but its... close enough.
I loved the game very very much before the silver dawn update, I think that removing grandmaster as well as making purifying stones required for forging everything was a wrong move. Also, I think that the fact that already crafted gear instead of materials drop from nests and dragon lair makes the game much less involving. The new silver archer is great though, and I can't wait until new sub-classes are out for all the original ones. I still love the game, but just a little less.
So far the game is quite entertaining with it's voiced story sequences and generous amounts of experience offered. I'm still new to the game, but the game offers an 'auto' feature to navigate to quests or to complete a series of instanced dungeons. It's fairly 'new user' friendly with it's mandatory tutorials introducing the various features in game. A decent action rpg gaming experience brought to the mobile realm, well worth a try!
Superb!!! Used to play the PC version many years ago and the mobile version feels exactly the same!! There seems to be even more features and it's become simpler in other aspects which is also a good thing. I wouldn't play on the PC again but will definitely stick to the mobile version!! Love it! :)
This game is very well done, a bit too much pay to win in some events and such but I guess that's just all phone mmorpgs now. A few bugs or features need to be fixed and/or added. Example: In the heroes battle arena sometimes it loads teams in with it being 4v3 so it's unfair. But other than the few bugs this game is really good and worth a try for some time killing.
I love the game, I really do- well at least the gameplay. One thing I'll never get over is the price for diamonds. A lot of good useful items cost diamonds and from what I've seen they range around 3000+ for ONE ITEM. Normally that wouldn't be a problem other than the fact that in order to get those diamonds I would be needing to pay 50-100 REAL DOLLARS for diamonds I'd only be able to spend on one item. I get needing profit, but this is ridiculous! I only get one item!! Ridiculous.
Of all the mobile MMORPGs out there, Dragon Nest actually delivers. It give you what it shows, and doesn't play like all the other games. Sure there are places where you can auto play, but there is a lot more reward to actually controlling your character; not to mention a need for strategy and well timed dodges. Great community as well! Few games like it!
Awesomeness......well.....it was anyways.......stuck on the title page with (bind account) entered everything correctly several times. Still doesn't progress or say if something is incorrect. Which it isn't. Sad though I was looking forward to getting back into this . Worked fine 30 minutes ago , but I had to run an errand an now it's bugged out .
Not your typical boring auto play mobile RPG! Awesome game all around..... Lots of characters and skills. Nice graphics, storyline and gameplay. There is lots to do here and the best thing about the game is the amount of skills and combos each class has kudo's. The battle system is just amazing! Thanks for making a great game. P.S. Devs if you are reading this please allow us to switch to second skill set in Battle that would make this game perfect! TY
Not a bad app but not great either. Your app still needs a lot of improvement - some functions in the settings option does not work (for example of you try to disable voice) - there are some latency on the game even if your on full blast internet speed - subtitles does not match what the character/NPC is saying I think this game was released to early, still a lot of improvements to be made. Uninstalling it for now.
A very cool game if you like to be able to actually move instead of just clicking some buttons on the screen like most other games I played. Would be cool if it was possible to customise your character at least a bit after choosing your class. Other than that, the game is very cool.
Overall the game is great. There are a few difficulties regarding the controls, particularly the movement arrows (hard to use). Also, some skills sometimes don't hit, even though the targets are in range. The graphics are quite decent for a mobile phone, though I would appreciate they include the freezing efect sounds (breaking glass). There are still details to improve, but keep going!
