Simply amazing. It has become my favorite game in the Zenithia Trilogy, as well as one of my favorite 1990s JRPGs. It may not be the most "narrative" of the DQ games, but all of the little stories and the lore are more than great. The graphics, music & gameplay are all superb, and it is ultimately an epic, satisfying and highly adventurous experience!
One of the best JRPGs from the 16 bit era. Awesome graphical update. Music is fantastic, of course. Probably one of the hardest DQ games, but it's a real adventure from start to finish
Horrible imprecise controls, no controller support, unfriendly UI, unhelpful world map, meh graphics and terrible pixelated font face. That's what you get for 17€. Nothing new though, that's usually the case with every Square Enix mobile port. Do yourself a favor and save your money for something else. Uninstalled after 2 hours struggling with that thing.
None of the Dragon Quest mobile ports work. Battle screen transition blacks out my screen and won't come back. I have the most updated version, re-installed multiple times, tried on various devices and all have the same problem. Emulate on PC and save your money. This is a joke.
Worth every penny. Just wish this had trophy achievements. The cloud save is one if the features i love about this port. I wont have to worry about starting over when getting a new phone.
Great grind and leveling system. The controls are good, and I personally found them better than Chronotrigger. Though not as polished (plot and graphic wise) as later editions, it is definitely worth the play of you love old school JRPGs.
Runs perfect! Great game and besides the usual gripes about not physically having a controller and only using touch screen interface the game is awesome!
Digging this game so far. It's not a hand-holding experience which is nice, and there are occasional difficulty spikes which keep you on your toes.
Cloud saves function doesn't work. It just sets on a black screen with a spinning circle in the top left corner
Continuously freezes on initial " in game" download and then shuts down application after failed re try, on my oneplus Nord n100,, has always played without issue on all my previous devices please fix I play 1 game, and now I have to go an look for a different one til they fix the issue...
You would think that with all the promissions that cloud needs it would be able to transfer my saves from an old device to new one but you would be wrong
A little scatterbrained plot but lots of fun stuff. Graphics lovely to look at while playing. Great music.
I'm just now downloaded and ready to go to play this one I still wish you would make dragon quest 7 available to the US :) I have one through six now eight will be the last lol unless of course :)
Underrated. Weirder than I expected. It's fun to find random caves and wells. The story was pretty original.
Really good game and glad to play it agin but when moving around i get a really bad slowdown for a few seconds randomly.
Hi is there a bug for the minigame sliding slime? Can't seem to pull back the slime at all.
A good game of the series but the secret boss is different having to be lol 65 or greater to beat him and if you want the true/real ending you'll have to beat him in 20 turns and fight another boss after him
Dragon Quest is the gold standard for traditional JRPGs, and the class system in 6 is fantastic if you don't mind the grind.
Fairly fun, controls for movement are finicky
I've have always enjoyed the dragon warrior and the dragon quest series dragon quest VI is no different ty for bringing them for cell phones now how about dragon warrior VII lol.
Game freezes whenever I try to play the slime minigame
5 will always be my favorite of the series, but Dragon Quest 6 is probably better all around.
It has a weaker story compared to the others in the zenithian trilogy but the gameplay is still great.
Great game and good port, though compared to 4 & 5 this one seems to freeze/pause at times
A very fun RPG, with a robust job system if you're into that.
Great game, however I can't understand why this is the only Dragon Quest game available in English on the JPN store.
Not bad, definitely the longest of the series so far, I spent well over 100 hours on this one and full completion on every other has been half that at best. There's a lot of open exploring which is nice for a chance to grind but annoying when trying to figure out where you're actually SUPPOSED to go.
