Dragon Strike: Puzzle RPG

Pay to win or free to lose. If you don't pay lots to get started you won't get anywhere. Very addicting game but those pop up ads will send you running away. If I want to spend money I will click one of the 5 ads you have cluttering the side of the screen. Tried to give 2* in game rating when prompted but it's rigged and would only let me rate 3* or higher so downgraded to 1* in the play store.

The game is fun, but the tutorial is a bit domineering. I wound up forced to train and promote a unit I had no intention of keeping with one that I actually HAD wanted to keep. I honestly started to feel like the game would rather play itself till the tutorial stopped. or at least let up. If you're going to teach the training system, let the player pick who they give up to do it, and to who.

Simple and fun, yet repetitive and frustrating. RIDICULOUSLY monetized (Pay THOUSANDS for a tiny chance to Win and get resources... it's disgusting). And if you play A LOT for free you only progress A BIT and... still ose. Bug: sometimes doesn't load any video ad, but yet the timer still restarts. Game is 2D and just matching 3 pieces of a color, but still drains battery and heats up phone. Why? Because it spends more time processing the online synchronization and timers, than the actual game.

Would have been a brilliant game, if it wasn't for the amount of money required to actually be able to make a steady progress. Greed at it's best. And this comes from a person who does support devs of great games by buying this or that. But the prices are absolutely ludicrous for the stuff they provide you with. Had the prices been sane, or the game more lenient and not so damn frustrating as F2P, once you get to a certain point, I would not hesitate to recommend it. Can't at this point, sorry.

Well i'm not impressed. I spent 20 minutes waiting for the game to install, dealing with it STOPPING every few seconds. Then after FINALY getting to play, 5 times I tried to get through the opening story text. 5 times the game booted me all the way to my home screen completely out of the game each time. UNINSTALLED guess i will play something else.

Really great game so far. I'm a big fan of match 3 RPG and this one is actually different. Same premise of match 3 but somehow refreshingly different than say, Mythwars & Puzzles and Empires and Puzzles, both of which I currently play. I like the ease of progression with lots of free loot, heroes that don't start out super weak and just enough tutorial to get you started w/o boring you into a hasty uninstall but not leaving you completely lost. Wish the hero SP skill were a bit more dramatic.

way better than Empire and Puzzles. there's pay to play options, but it's balanced so you don't have to. good all around game. I spent nothing and was getting good characters. It's now almost 2022 from starting in 2019 and still no breastplate. Have over 200 pieces of the other rarely needed armour but nothing to increase 5* characters and only 4 of them. They tease with one early then they are almost nonexistent. Must be a pay to play feature. Reducing my rating.

I wanted to get the game just to see the selection of enemy units but I can't be bothered. The game doesn't have a competent bone in its body. It has the terrible base building aspect put in games to waste time and force you to grind for resources to upgrade buildings, gems "fall" upwards because why not, and literally every part of the game is derivative. From the long paint-by-numbers forced tutorial with a generic plot to the very limited energy system and trash generic summoning.

Game has potential. With that said, two are the main issues with it (thus the low rank) : 1) Constant network error mrssages forcing the game to restart(my network is fine btw), 2) You hit the paywall pretty soon and then the grinding begins, which makes the playing experience feel like a chore. Will evaluate again after a few updates.

Love the game I have played it for a while now just thing that makes me give a three star is the last update was on September 1st 2021 and it hasn't been updated since. and saying that the game has had plenty of time to grow and have new updates new purchase packets and it's really difficult to get the tomb books and should have more opportunities to acquire them. I've put a lot of money into this game and it just seems like I'm stuck in the same spot for quite some time now. Please update soon

Well done game other than the decision to use "instant" tickets for previous stages. Where other games let you auto complete previously beaten stages this makes you play each one over again. This can add up to quite a bit of time. This isnt a pick up and play game. This one decision will be the reason I'm uninstalling as I dont want to devote my whole day every day.

Cons: cluttered screen, you can't upgrade multiple buildings at once (they want you to spend gems to finish the other building first), gross wet playdoh looking art style, the characters talk WAY to much and annoyingly long tutorial. Pros: the puzzle/rpg-light part of the game is fun.

I downloaded this 5 weeks ago and now I am hooked. When my fighting energies run out on Empires & Puzzles, I go straight to this game! Excellent work!!! September update: Sometimes I am not able to get my free mystical rewards after I watch an ad. If you can fix that I would greatly appreciate it!

got way too hard on chapter 2. I was on section 17 flag 10, and spent 20 minutes and 8000 gems to continue to try to kill just one boss monster Dragon. I had a might of 10,000, and could not do it. this made the game no fun anymore, and I decided to quit, it's only going to get worse. need to make these battles manageable to keep people's interest

The reward system is tragic... only for top 25 or if it is for the top 500 it will give you useless items... same at the dungeons... It gives gems but in order to use them property like summoning a 5* hero you need to be gathering for at least 6 months... and then good luck finding the items you need to upgrade him... thats simply a joke, or you pay and you win ;-) Nice graphics though

I've been playing this game for 19 months...its one of the biggest money grabs I've ever seen. Game is fun BUT if you wish to compete it will take you years to get there without spending thousands and when you do the developers make sure you still can't win so you keep spending. Arena is an absolute joke and no matter how strong you get they have it set up for you to lose. Why? So you keep spending! Makes me sick I've spent as much as I have only to keep treading water...unbelievable greed.

This game is trash. Do not believe the positive reviews. They are content in spending all their money to win. The levels get VERY difficult each time and the payouts are very lousy. It will take you a VERY long time to make any progress unless you get your credit card and buy your way through the levels. This game is purely pay-to-win. Do not waste your money and your time. If you want a fair, fun and straightforward game, this is not it

This game was fun and fair. After the last update. I woke up to highly debuffed characters, over powered basic to moderate level monsters. Which were easily to moderately able to smite. Now almost impossible to kill. Same with player vs player. Players who are near equle to you are near impossible to win against. While players with 2,000 less points can smite you. Playing board is against you. In many ways in each type of battle. Causing many players like myself to Exit this game.

Fun at first, but then gets grindy, repetitive and boring, the more you level up the worse it gets, waiting a whole day for one task to be completed isn't my sort of thing unfortunately. Summoning 5 star heroes/dragons is based on pure luck, and even then they aren't much use unless you have the resources to promote them which is more hours of grinding, you're better off promoting the 3 star heroes. if you plan to not spend it'll be a very slow process, although this game isn't as p2w as most other RPG games, it's certainly becoming one. Besides all the negatives, I admire the art and especially enjoyed the arena (PvP) aspect of the game

Finally a right competition to e&p that doesn't suxx. Has lots of original features (mainly the combo calculations, or enemy not generating mana when hit by non-participating color). Very rewarding for active users, even for f2p. Will give 1 more star when you implement autoplay in arena 😹.

it's a meh game. the arena aspect does not make sense. it is rigged against the player. Every round 2 of the opponents will auto use skills which makes it challenging regardless and when opponent is down to 2, every turn they will use their skill. THIS IS A PAY TO WIN GAME!!!!!

Love the game, but there's no way to advance unless you pay for what you really need to be be able to advance. Plus you go up against those whose ranks are higher that keeps you held back, it's not a fair game. Would be nice to make it a fair game and have better items in the packages so you get what you need to advance.

I love this game, I really do. However, the pvp isn't fair. It puts you up against people who are way more advanced than you, so your basically doomed too fail it. If only the pvp system was fair, I would have loved too give it full stars! Aside from that, I enjoy it and hit no problems so far 🤷🏻‍♀️
