DragonBox Numbers
DragonBox Numbers will teach your child what numbers are, how they work, and what you can do with them. The game makes it easy and fun for your child to gain an intuitive understanding of numbers. It's a great introduction to the wonderful world of math.
DragonBox Numbers brings math to life by turning numbers into colorful and relatable characters, called Nooms. The Nooms can be stacked, sliced, combined, sorted, compared and played with, any way your child pleases.
The app contains 4 different activites for your child to explore, each designed to challenge your child to use the Nooms and basic math in a different way.
The "Sandbox" section of the game is designed to let your child explore and experiment with the Nooms. It's also the perfect tool for parents and teachers to explain basic math concepts to kids.
In the "Puzzle" section, your child will use basic math to create their own puzzle pieces, and place them in the right spot to reveal a hidden picture. Every move your child makes reinforces number sense. Your child will perform thousands of operations while solving the 250 puzzles.
In the "Ladder" section, your child will have to think strategically to build larger numbers. Your child will develop an intuitive understanding of how larger numbers relate to small numbers, and practice basic math strategies every step of the way.
In the "Run" section, your child will have to direct the Noom down a path using quick mental calculations. Your child can use their fingers, Nooms or numerals to jump over obstacles. This activity reinforces your child's number sense and trains their ability to quickly recognise and add numbers.
DragonBox Numbers is based on the same pedagogical principles as the other games in the award-winning DragonBox series, and works by integrating the learning seamlessly into the gameplay, no quizzes or mindless repetitions. Every interaction in DragonBox Numbers is designed to heighten your child’s understanding of numbers and strengthen his or her love of math, giving your child a great foundation for future math learning.

Just reinstalled and noticed the 'Run' game, which auto-rotates to landscape, now clips the right side of the playfield, which appears all black. perhaps after a little delay after rotating, you could force a resize to the full screen size? this tablet is android 4.4.2, galaxy tab 4 (model sm-t230nu) Please fix. That part of the app is my kid's favorite, and he was pretty grumpy when it wasn't playable. Thank you, will be picking up your new chess game soon!!
Very good app. My kid learned a lot from it. He loves the "yay" sound at the end of each puzzle. Two little critiques: The blocks get very small and hard to drag on the big puzzles. Also, I find the "buying puzzles with coins" mechanic tedious.
This is the best math game i have seen to develop number sense. I'm excited to introduce it to my students, and I love that it does not seem baby-ish. It makes it more accessible to older students who need support with addition/subtraction.
Kids love this. I'll just say though, it's a little odd teaching kids to understand numbers and then to lock the parent zone with a number combination! If this app does its job well then the kids are going to get in there 😁
I am an algebra teacher and I recommend dragonbox algebra to all my students. I bought this for my 4 year old and she is already learning some amazing number concepts. Another homerun from the dragonbox team.
Confusing within the 1st 5 minutes. My child hasn't been able to navigate around it and neither have I. Even if we want we're able to, I want to also downloaded to all devices but it looks like I'm going to have to pay $7.99 for each device!?
I really wanted to try this with my preschool class but after install we could hear it but could only see a solid blue screen so I got a refund. Any suggestions to fix that?
Can you update the designs of three numbers 11 to 100 also I'm giving this a 4-star also they should be able to change their shape and not just be standing tall, Ok?
A lot of dynamic content keeps my 3 yo entertained and it's a great way to introduce math in a fun, abstract way
Can you please add halfs like all the odd numbers can split in half. Not like three makes 1 and 2 I mean like 1 1/2 and 1 1/2.

I was going to give it 2 stars but I added 1 so you didn't cry, and the numbers have to much eyes… which my cousin doesn't like. Also they should have numbers on top of the creatures so you know who they are.

I would like to say that theres a game in roblox called "Number simulator". 4 Star for that. Info: Lives currently in canada until December 25 2020.

Brilliant game. My twin 3 year old boys both LOVE this. Just one thing that has proven to let the game down for this AND the Big Numbers game: one of my boys can read numbers and has repeatedly broken into the Parent Zone and deleted his whole game. He has lost all his coins, and all progress. He can read numbers. It needs to be harder to get into Parent Zone. PLEASE! I'm gutted for him.
