It's important to start with the right kind of image to achieve a successful black & white conversion. Not every image has the proper tonal range, contrasts, etc. But this program lets you quickly find the most pleasing BW looks across a variety of style options, including classic, dramatic & infrared. I suggest trying it out!
Easy to work with. Offers many options to fine tune a photograph. Produces quality photos, similar to what one would have done in a dark room with 35mm film.
Great app for post processing colour to b&w with lots of preset effects. No problems saving. Clean UI. Like it a lot.
Downloaded about two months ago and started using it just today. Great app! I love hi contrast B+W and this delivers in spades (pun) to my satisfaction. Would recommend to anyone who likes creative photography.

Nice app but you need to implement landscape mode editing and it will be 5 stars. I have free apps which do and paid apps should too. Glad to see that the spotlight is optional now instead of being in the way when not in use. I get around the landscape mode deficiency by turning the photo 90° before it goes to this app. It's not complicated, just cumbersome. So why cant you do it and make things easier? It's also not possible to export photos to the app. Still very good but could be even better.
Earlier issue with crashing and long "save" times seem to be fixed. 👍
6 years later it's even better. I love this app! Previous from March 2015: It's tremendous, especially for a CELLPHONE app. My God! Talk about versatile with respect to grain, textures & contrast! Great job, developers. @PaulBritPhoto
Easy to use but too slow for rendering
Highly recommended app for beautiful black and white photo filters.. Easy to pick up. Once you get used to the settings. They are straight forward. I love the random dice 🎲 selection. You can browse through the random choices until you are content with your choice. Then easy to save. I love the classy results..
