DRAWU - draw and paint your portrait

I really enjoy this app and highly recommend it but there are a few problems. 1) there should be a fill tool, it's very difficult to stay within the lines especially when coloring the eyes. 2) there should be a body type option because not every one is stick thin 3) there should be present darker skin tones because it's difficult to custom make darker skin tones. And lastly, After you make your character and you want to go and color it, it should open with the colors you had before.

I really like this app. It's a lot of fun to try to piece together people that I know from memory and watch as the person becomes recognizable. However, I don't like that 1) there's not an option of straight long hair for girls, 2) there's no option for wavy or curly hair, 3) there's no option for little kids and families, 4) guys' options in general are super limited, and 5) if the eyebrows aren't outlined then the lines won't take on the color of the hair.

This is a intriguing concept, & a fairly good app. But the coloring part could use work. I prefer to zoom in more, it doesn't let you do that. There is no eraser button, & the brush is far too big even at it's lowest setting! I zoom in a lot & prefer to have a very tiny brush for certain parts like the eyes. I'd like to have a circle for the brush so you know where it is & how big it is. It's troublesome. Otherwise, good. Also wish we had a fill in button for those big parts. I hate those.

I love it. Good quality, various options, and i like how you can color your little drawing! I was able to trick my friends into thinking i made it! the controls are nice and easy and i recommend to anyone looking for drawing inspirations. sadly, i don't use it that often and had to uninstall it because it took up too much space. Keep up the good work, app creator(s)!

This is a great app, but there just a few flaws. The first flaw is, the brush is just a little bit too big for doing small things like lips and eyes. The second flaw is, some of the hair for the girls glitch if you are using the preset coloring. Lastly, it's not really a flaw, but I would like to see the bottom end of the body! So you could put shoes and pants and shorts and things like that. Anyway, I think this app is pretty good for people who can't draw, like me!

This app is perfect. When I'm bored and I have nothing to do, I just turn on my phone and create people I know on DRAWU. It also calms me down if something has happened. For me it can be relaxing. There's a good choice of clothes as well. Furthermore, there are lots of choices for the features. IMPROVEMENTS . More colours are needed. . You should earn more reward coins. . I wish you could play little games with the characters you create.

DRAWU is a great app. Creates an outlet for some creativity. I'm writing a novel and it has helped me visualise my characters. There are only two flaws that I have found while operating this app. One: there is no way to separate avatars into folders and such. And Two: You are only allowed to do a portion of the upper body, it would be nice to have the choice to complete a full-body design.

I was very excited to try this app and I was very disappointed when I tried it. You see, there are absolutely no dark skin tones just different shades of Caucasian skin tones and there are no curly hair styles whatsoever. Being a person of color, this really shocked me. It's 2020 and I think it is time to appreciate black people. I think you guys should add more options for people of color such as myself and until you do this app is being deleted.

I really enjoy this app, however I literally cannot finish coloring one drawing. I have to exit and reenter the drawing often cause it freezes, but then once I'm close to finishing it, it wont open. The picture just does not load. I also often have to exit because the pen tool wont get smaller and I have to stop playing. It would also be helpful if there was a zoom tool and if you could zoom in further.

This app is great, the drawing is great but there's two things that I don't really like which is the colours. When I want to contour or do the blush, it looks ugly and it can't be blend with the skin colour. And second, there's not many hair and bangs option. I hope you'll update the colours and hair options more and so far, this app is good.

I find the app very fun but I have two problems with it. The first being that it takes a long time to gather enough coins to buy things in the shop so if there's another way to get coins that you could add into the app that would be amazing. Lastly the app keeps crashing for me, loosing whatever process I was working on before which is very annoying. Apart from those two points the app is really good 👍

You pick the features of your character and you can leave them black and white or color them. The options are limited unless you buy more features. Very few packages can be purchased for less that $10 worth of DU coins kind high since all you do is save the basic image. There are perks to signing in so it may be cheaper if you create an account. It is a casual I one time and done for me. Not enough features to make a self Avatar/Portrait with.

I use this app to design the characters for my books. Two things about this app I like are: 1. Makes it easy to create your characters 2. Fun and simple way to pass time Two things I would like to see happen in this app are: 1. More skin color options 2. A notes option to add notes to each drawing. This is a good app, and I would definitely reccomend it. Thank you.

The app is really easy to use and fun too, but there's a lot of limitations. I wish i could create a whole person top to bottom and create the background i want too, not just change the colour. There are too few hair options for black ppl. We don't have long silky hair and i don't want to make women who are wearing extensions.

I really like this app! It has a lot of options and I like making my OCs on it, this is probably the best character making app I've found tbh. I see some people who are upset that the coloring is too hard, yeah because you have to actually color it, but the app has an option where you can just choose the color when you're making the person, I find it very helpful. Although I love this app, I am very disappointed that there's no curly hair option :/ but other than I find this app really cool :)

The concept is fun. In order for this game to have a higher rating for me there needs to be some changes to the game involving the diversity in skin tones (seriously only Caucasian tones?), hair style, and face shape. This game is well developed it just need that little push to get it to where it needs to be.

This app is really fun to use! I love creating different characters. HOWEVER, unfortunately there aren't enough ethnic options...skintones stay on the lighter side of the spectrum and there aren't enough textured hair options. There also are no thicker models to pick from...not everyone is skinny and fit. Some of us are thicker.

Nice art style but it completely ignores people of colour and has limited hair textures. You have to make your own custom skin tone if you aren't ethnic European and make do with straight hair. Also, the lips and noses have very little variation; and everybody is thin. Was excited when I found it but disappointed when I tried it. Edited to respond: Yes, I acknowledged that in my original review. My point stands. Ethnic Europeans have default skin tones pre-loaded. Everybody else doesn't.

The game is fun and will recommend to beginers. But as for me I downloaded this app to find character inspiration for my art. I am not saying that it did not help but it would be much better if they added levels of realism and a lower half to all the characters. Other than that it is a great app and would recomend.

DRAWU, is perfect if you want to draw you or well anyone. But, if you press the paintplait Your have to start all over and paint, and if you try to do something It wil do some weird thing (idk). Some times, when I'm bored I'll go on the app and in less than 60 secs I'll not be bored. That's why, I think you should install the app (It's free)

I used to LOVE this app, it was perfect for designing my own characters, until out of no where, it stopped letting me in, it either doesn't let me in at all or takes more then 15 minutes to do so, I'm very disappointed about this, it needs to be fixed, and this app needs more and different clothes, and accessories, until they atleast fix the loading problem, this app is a 1 star😡😤🤦🏻‍♀️Its time this app gets fixed and updated

The pictures themselves are nicely versatile, but you have to colour in each one by hand! This is made harder by how janky the colouring program is, for example, whatever colour you're currently using will not be carried over if you go into the palette. I just want to make my colour a bit darker, I shouldn't have to memorise every hex code to be able to do so. Also, people who aren't decent at art will struggle to make good looking pictures, defeating the whole point of this kind of app!
