It's a great game and I enjoyed it a lot. It's not laggy or slow, it runs pretty smoothly in my device. Though the only problem is that sometimes when I exit the game, it removes everything/all the data/all of my progress. It's kinda annoying cause I have to bought the full story again and again because of this bug issue. I would rate it solid 5/5 if you fix this issue asap... But overall, I really liked it.

I want to love this game so much. I played it on the switch and it was fantastic! The mobole version though... I try to play it and it wont let me, but when i uninstall and reinstall it starts the game from scratch. i even bought the unlimited pack because i wanted to play all the story lines. I'm just so frustrated that it wont work and i dont want to keep losing progress.

i love the game concept and the art!! everything about the game is great, but there are way too many errors and glitches for it to properly function on mobile. for example, i had to uninstall and reinstall the game because my play button wasn't working and i had to yet again uninstall and reinstall the game because it would "lose connection" when i went to use Dadbook. i haven't even made it past the tutorial stage!! the DD team did fantastic with everything else, aside from the constant bugs 💕

i absolutley adore this game! the characters are amazing, and I've been following it since the PC version. but I've been having some issues on this app, there are dots of the blonde color in my avatars hair, despite the style being all black. the biggest issue is that I've been following Roberts story line, and on the third date, on the first option I told him no. he left, and now the game is stuck on a blank image of my house. i have tried holding the skip button, but its not doing anything.

game is good, the payment is reasonable and makes sense. game crashes a lot on my phone and sometimes refuses to start at all from the menu screen. lots of fun when it does work. difficult to enjoy with such frequent freezes/when i get locked out entirely. could also use a save feature, but i recognize that's probably difficult to put in a mobile format.

I love this game, but it's unplayable after the intro unless you pay 15$ for the full game. The free trial doesnt even work so you dont even get that, just the intro. I totally understand why games need money to play, but just make it a one time purchase game. Or if you want to keep it free I suggest making it where you get X amount of texts every 9-24 hours and implement ads in order to get money. You can also get money from an in game store to buy more texts and an ad-free subscription.

The game is imaginative and unique, but the fact that you can't do virtually anything past the intro without paying money is, in my opinion, insane. If it were changed to, perhaps, give you x many messages every 24 hours or something but you can buy more whenever, it'd be much more reasonable. I understand an app need money to stay around, but then you can implement ads! If you add ads, just allow people to do a monthly ad-free subscription. Great game, but people without a job can't play.

I adore the game, I know it's a great game because I've played it before and deleted when I finished. I decided to redownload it, but whenever i try to open the game, it keeps me in the loading screen. It might just be my phone being weird, but it really is an amazing game, the art, the characters, the music, fabulous, and I completely reccomend! Don't let my mishap discourage you♡

I have been interested in this game for a long time and I was excited when it became available for mobile. The game played with no errors on my Galaxy S10 and I thought the 3 dates allowed as a demo were very generous. It was plenty of play time to confirm the game performed well on my phone and give me a feel for the play. I already knew the art and story were quite good. Generally it's a pretty good product, pretty good but not perfect. Overall I'm not satisfied with this game. My main complaint is: there is no SAVE/LOAD functionality! It's unbelievable but you can't back up if you make a wrong choice and let's be blunt here: not only might you sometimes mis-click on a choice, sometimes a dialog prompt might not mean what you think it does. Not being able to take back a mistake is a deal breaker for me. Additionally, while the stories seem pretty good the game is certainly not without any rough spots still. I did Robert's path and on the third date something went very wrong suddenly. Now I realize it was maybe just a case of not having scored well enough at that point to progress further, but the tone change went from quite good to being kicked out of his house, and in the final scene my character reamed him for not calling his daughter, referencing a dialog which DID NOT HAPPEN. So either the fail state for that ending is very awkwardly put together, or a scene got skipped due to some linking error. Whatever the cause it was jarring and unsatisfying. I'm now not inclined to fork over the $15 to actually buy the game on this platform, which I fully intended to do as soon as I finished one demo play through.

I am enjoying it enough and love how progressive it is. However, it stalls a lot. I have already lost count of how many times I have had to quit and reopen the app, and I haven't even set up Dadbook yet! What's more I reopened it (again) and now the play button doesn't work. It just keeps me on the main screen. I had been looking forward to this coming to Android for a long time (even fully paid), and it has had so many glitches. I have even contacted support a week ago. No response!

It's a cute idea for a game and always great to see lgbtq content. However, like others mention you're only getting a quick demo of the actual game. The story you're required to read (or fast forward) through is very time consuming and not super thrilling. Once you start interacting with people other than your daughter it gets a bit more interesting, but the outcome of your "decisions" seems totally random. There's really not a way to influence the storyline too much. Great animation though!

I'm so glad that this game finally came to mobile. The added data plan is honestly a really cool concept for the game. Makes you help support the game which is nice. The reason I didn't give it 5/5 is just for a few bugs, like mat's glasses glitching on his face when you first meet him, and your characters hair when you change it having blonde outlines from the lineart. I wish we could have save files too but this is brand new. Thank you so much for doing this!

i love this game but i keep having problems 1.)it won't save any of my progress, I'll get far into the game. make sure it saves. and then exit the app, I'll get back on it a day later and it completely restarts me. 2.)it didn't give me any data in the beginning so i can't progress further in the game. I know it gives you data for free in the beginning because of my friend. 3.)some of the pictures will turn black or even the background. please help me, I'll raise my rating once this is fixed.

The game itself is great, the characters and the story are all well done, but after I got the unlimited messages my dad (character) wouldn't show up in the corner of the screen. Now there's a error box where he is supposed to be, and the only way I can see my character is to customize him. Not sure if this will interfere with the actual gameplay but it is annoying and visually unappealing. Hopefully this can be fixed

I've been waiting so long to play this game and now that it's finally free(even if it's only 3 messages) I'm so excited! The only thing I'll say is that my skee ball game didnt seem to work right. All the balls kept getting stuck before falling into the 10 point hole. Also there's a typo in one of the dialogues with Brian.(Don't remember where, but it repeats two words twice) But other than that it's a great game!

Absolutely amazing. I enjoyed this game very, VERY much and to finally be playing it after 3 years feels GREAT!! The stories are engaging and well-written, the art is beautiful, the music is great... There were minor glitches, but to me, it did not take away from the experience. Great job, Game Grumps. Now, I'm looking forward to a mobile version of Monster Prom :3

While it's playable at least and I am so far having a decent time ( despite not playing the full version ). There are a few graphic problems. Such as in build that dad. The hair color ( unless it's blonde or a lighter color ) has a white outline from the inside of the hair. Making it look like it didn't fully color it. And when I decides to rebuild my dad. The supposed rebuild dad is replaced by some white box with a red circle. Hope this gets fixed.

Really good game story wise and fun as hell, but the whole experiance is kinda sucky because of how often it crashes. I can barely get a few minutes into the game before it stops and i have to restart each save point. I wish i could give it 5 stars but the crashing really is a problem and keeps me from even being able to finish it : /

Love that there's essentially a free trial and three free messages. I'm really only using this as a way to decide if I should buy it on Steam, though. Probably buying it on the Christmas sale. Amazing characters, love them. Art is also fantastic. Wish there were saveslots so I could savescum but I heard there are saveslots on the PC version so not too much of a loss.

I love this game, not just because game grumps have something to do with it but because its genuinely fun. I do have a small complaint however, whenever I chose the option to re-build my dad character, when i finished and went to play the game, it ended up just being a huge white square with a giant red question mark in it and its very irritating. I did everything i could to try and fix it, but nothings working??? Other than that the game runs smooth and its so much fun!

I really enjoyed this visual novel type date simulator!! It was just an impulse download but I ended up paying the $15 (otherwise you only get 4 "lives") for the full game. Solid graphics, easy controls, good fast forward system and extremely creative/funny/nerdy dialogue. That was what sold me. Mini games provide some break from the novel (my fave being the nod to pokemon). Overall recommended.

This game is really fun with great stories between the characters, but one day the game started saying I was "Not connected to the Internet" and wouldn't let me play, no matter how many times I restarted the game or disconnected and reconnected to my Wi-Fi it wouldn't let me play. Eventually i had to uninstall and reinstall the game, which finally let me play, but made me lose all of my progress. I will keep playing, but I'm not excited to replay through all of the progress I made.

Fun and then done. You use up those 3 free dates and then are expected to pay 14.99 to actually finish the game. That's not realistic. There's a reason games with microtransactions do so well. It's easier to spend .99 on 3 more dates than 4.99 or 14.99 to finish the game. Also when people have an ad watching option, they're more likely to get further into the game and then it seems more reasonable to spend money on it. Just my 2 cents, since you're definitely not getting my 15 dollars. 😘

Awesome, I love this game. The art is so pretty and the music is really fun too, especially the theme! The characters are really lovable and have a realistic feel to their personalities with little quirks and insecurities. You can play the levels over and over until you reach the super rank! I play them even after that too though! I really love the game, it does cost and at first I thought the price was a little steep but you know...this is obviously being responsible with student loans...10/10!

All of the Dads were very well drawn, much more detailed than the character you play as. Our daughter was very realistic as were the Dads and the narrative as a whole was well written. I would keep it installed indefinitely if the replayability was improved. My suggestion for improvement is mostly directed at Craig's path. To be specific I feel it should progress further when compared to the other Dads since we knew him in the past. His story ended in an awkward place.

I loved the PC version of this so I had to get this one too because I'm weak for Robert. Suggestions for future mobile development is rewind controls and loading saves. I know saves would take up space on the mobile device but it would definitely be worth it because I love reloading saves and doing stuff different without having to start all the way at the beginning.
