Dressage Lite for horse riders
Tests can be created for short or long arenas and consist of one or more steps containing movements which include:

Movements are colour coded into walk, trot and canter types with linestyles (dotted, dashed etc) used to indicate varieties such as collected, extended etc. The diagram displays the horse outline in leg yield, shoulder in, travers, renvers or half pass as specified.
The arena can be viewed from A, B, C or E as appropriate for a rider or judge's perspective.
All of the standard arena letters are available and if required a further set inbetween these can be enabled for designing freestyle tests.
Settings permits a wide range of customisations such as changing colours, animations, arena styles etc.
In addition to using the graphical representation of the test you can also view it as a callsheet. The descriptions are automatically created and a user supplied comment can be added.
All tests are stored on your device and no internet connection is necessary when editing or viewing tests, nor is any other form of registration.
When you've completed designing your test you can share it with friends if they have the app installed. Sharing is done by using existing apps on your device which could include Gmail, Google Drive etc.

Dressage Lite is ADVERTISMENT supported. It is also RESTRICTED to storing three tests at any one time (you must delete a test to permit a new one to be created). An unrestricted, advert-free paid version of the app, Dressage Pro is available.

A little confused but the BEST Dressage app ever! I've been working with my Horse on these exercises and they've been helping us alot in competition. Whoever made this app is the best in the world! 🐴🇿🇦🐎

This app is a must have to practice dressage tests. Tests are easy to enter and color coding gaits makes it a great visual cue. Pity only 3 tests can be saved on the trial version, but then entering the test helps memorising it too. Shared across all my riding friends :)
I would love to know if I am doing something wrong: when going across the diagonal, ( long or short) it immediately turns sharply back the way just traveled (which is exactly what we Do Not do when going across the diagonal). I really like this app. I great concept. I was very excited to use it to design tests for my students. If anyone could tell me if I am doing something wrong or how to fixit that would be great. Otherwise a super neat app that I would gladly recommend to other professionals.
Easier to input test on diagram but struggling to see how to edit call sheet. New to Android, maybe I just need to find my way around but so far, Apple app winning...
Wanting to be a dressage star myself. I knew this app was for me but I tried to put in a serpentine however you spell it... but I cant seem to put one in (cant press the button for it) So it got a 4 star not 5 overall a nice simple app
It took a few tries to learn all about the different controls ( I suggest just playing with all the buttons so you can see what they do!) But, after learning the ropes, this is extremely handy and accurate. I was able to, within reason, enter my exact tests in and it has helped me to visualize and learn them easier. I have only given 4 stars because, after a few hours, it seems to be freezing whenever I edit my tests, but this may be a device issue, not necessarily the App. The only fault I can find is that, it appears as though only the last movement in the area show the color...so, if I have a trot circle at E, and then a canter circle at B, only the red canter line shows up. It would be nice to be able to see each move individually side by side, or have the colors change as the replay executes the movement. But, overall, for a free App, very helpful!
Between editing & help, it takes about an hour to fully learn, but then it's great. Great for freestyles, easy to add steps, share, copy, rename, add speeds for gaits. Issues: It didn't save my edits to the call sheet. Wish it would provide a list of gaits in order from the test, with an estimate of # minutes-seconds of each gait (based on gait speeds & distance) plus est total test time. That would be a great tool for developing the music part if freestyles.
Took me ten minutes to get the hang of this and then put my test on. Can change colours of walk, trot etc to make it more useful. Can see this replacing the endless sheets of paper normally used.
The app could be better if you can make a bit more tests and it could tell you what colours the lines are in a little key or something if they changed that it would be a bit better.The other one could be a bit cheaper.
just starting dressage been riding for Like 5-6 years maybe more,.learnt everything i know without riding lessons i have gotten really far but this is a good way for me to plan my roots, busy person so saves me so much time to plan them at night ready for next day
Help files non existent. Once I figured it out it is excellent. Entered a BD test step by step. Animated test excellent. Call sheet too small to read on a phone.
Great for my training but it would be better if there are ready-made tests such as the preparatory tests(Equestrian Australia) for begineers who doesnt know much about dressage.
This app has so much promise however it's almost impossible to put a basic test on here will be uninstalling
I think this is a great app! Its useful and really cool. After exploring around on it a bit I noticed that it can do quite a lot! You have to explore it a bit to find some little extras that I wouldn't have seen right away, but anyway it can do a lot, I think it has everything it needs. Great thanks!
Great idea but often won't let me enter the test correctly
Its good but in my test I havr to turn right at c and I can't get it to go right it just goes all the way around the arena :(
Not all tests turn left at the end of the center line. Spent 10 minutes trying to get the ruddy thing just to turn right and gave up. Will stick to a ballpoint pen and paper thanks.
Loose a star for the fluro green font color for test read out is an eye sore. If you can choose colors i would pay for it
Brilliant once you get the hang of it. I find its very useful especially when you have a test sheet without diagrams.
Hi thanks and this could be a great tool, but im struggling to find how i can change transition on a 20m circle, and how to enter a few strides between letters. And im only trying to work on an intro test :-(
I like this it can help me very much because next year I'm going to show and I'm only 11!
Daily dressage rider and trainer and I have had the hardest time entering in my tests the correct way without error or lots of lost time fighting with settings.
It's ok I suppose but it could be made better

Surprisingly easy to use, 5-10 minutes of learning time then easy to use and super helpful! Considering upgrading to paid version.
