Works great! Accurate and portable! tested against bigger units...have this for four years no problems, still accurate.

Absolute rubbish! Do not buy this product. I keep blowing .o2-3 while being 100% sober, I've even try it at different places with different temp, humidity etc and the result are the same. After I've had way more than a few drinks I still blew .03. Waste of money. Again DO NOT BUY THIS!

Bought the usb c to micro b usb adapter DrinkMate recommended, has never been able to connect. Phone thinks it is a keyboard. This is a waste of money. Just go buy a keychain breathalyzer. Used to work (though with bugs) on a phone with a micro usb b port

Has never worked reliably since I Kickstarted it. Might be cool if you get one that functions properly.

Does not read bac over .035 when I'm reality it is way above that. Poor sensitivity. Calibration is way off the mark.

When creating a profile, the calendar feature is awful. Have to scroll month by month till you get back to your do. Ridiculous even for a 21 year old. After creating profile, found that app doesn't see my device (using an adapter with my USB C). Need to check on getting a refund.

The first 2-3 times everything worked fine and I loved it. After that, the app kept saying it needs more time but regardless how long I waited or how much I shook like instructed, it always said Drinkmate drank too much and would not provide a reading. I've tried uninstalling the app, removing the device from my phone and waiting more time than instructed. Nothing has helped.

Honestly I don't think it works at all. Got home from the bar and it said I was at 0.05 then I drink like 5 more drinks and it said .07.. then it would go up and down.

I just tested myself. I blew a 0.09%. Then I blew a 0.00%. Then the app cycled through 3 times; it said warming up, then it would say that the device was saturated. I went through this 3 times. Then I blew a 0.06%. This I believe to be the accurate reading.

Loops and says it needs time to clear previous user data, never used. Uninstalled and reinstalled with no improvement.

The idea is amazing but unfortunately it fails. I had high hopes for this too. Blowing a 0.04 when I'm clearly stumbling around, made it obvious. And the first time I pull it out at a party to show it off, is when it stops working. (no pun intended) Very disappointed.

Didn't expect super precise measurement but I did expect higher than what comes up. It's sporadic & the software needs tweaking. Sometimes it reads on first try. Other times it won't read at all even after sensor reset. We like using it in general but I think it comes to a better light when amongst friends where it can be a bit of a game. One night I had one drink containing 4 Oz of whiskey & a whole can of ginger ale. Finished my drink in 2 hours & the highest level I could reach was .026.

When I first got Drinkmate I loved it. It was great and definitely fun at parties. My father is a retired State Trooper and thinks it's the greatest thing ever. But now whenever I use it it warms up, gets to the 3 or 4 second mark and then says it's "Saturated". When it clears it warms up and gets to the 3 or 4 second mark and says it's "Saturated" again. Doesn't matter how long I try to let it clear, it's like it's stuck on an infinite loop. Any advice on how to fix this?

Worked well to begin with then, like others have reported, gets stuck in a permanent " saturated device" cycle. I discovered tapping it lightly on a hard surface cleared the error and worked perfectly. I'm guessing dust, lint, other contaminants are settling on the sensor when in your pocket. Maybe a completely enclosed storage sleeve would fix the problem?

originally purchased this device for my galaxy s5 but it stopped working shortly after which was replaced. since then i upgraded to a gamaxy s7 and the drink mate device is agan stuck in an endless loop of needing more time. would prefer refund over a new device because they just continue to fail.

Not accurate by a long shot. I was drinking all night and stayed at .070. Don't know if there is a special calibration, but if not I would consider the dongle a novelty and nothing more.

Dav. L. Jul 3, 2016

I'm so disappointed in this product. After one drink I had three reads in a 5 minute period that read 0.08, 0.1, and then 0.07. There is no accuracy to this product at all. It's supposed to do just one thing...and it simply doesn't do it

Reads 0% all the time. Update: Drinkmate sent me 2 replacement devices, both had the same issue.

I've had 12 beers and I'm in no shape to drive and it says .04 bac. This device is worthless, do not buy it!
