Drive HD by Cobra

Entirely useless-- will see my camera's Wi-Fi, but will not let me connect to it to use the settings. Many of the settings can only be set in the app, and not physically on the camera. I have done a hard reset on the camera, and reinstalled the app. Nothing will resolve this issue.

As a few others have stated, useless piece of software. Sees my dashcam but won't connect to it, ever. Emailed Cobra via their website, no response. All these clips have to be downloaded directly to a laptop in a file format most programs don't recognise. If you're planning to buy a dashcam, don't get one of these.

Great camera on dash but not work on cloud. I've reset the device and the app on my phone followed the instructions to reconnect it but continually fails to connect to Cloud but works on my WIFI. mobile app has an issue on my Huawei p20 lite. please help sort guys

Won't find camera anymore on newer android 9+ phone. Says to use updated version, but the new app won't connect to the camera either.

It is not compatible with my CDR905DBT. The last update is back in 2014. Apparently it is an abandoned app.

Camcorder not connected message after 20 seconds or less every time. This app is pointless. Please fix. Looks like it would be nice if it actually worked. **I found it works without a password. So if you have set a password try to delete it while you can stay connected. Not very safe security wise though. Still not happy**

Every time I do anything in this app it says camcorder disconnected. It's a nightmare just trying to save a file or deleting. I'm starting to wish I hadn't purchased the camera. I'm very tech say and this is ridiculous. Just great 45 mind on hold with support after tell the lady my issue she transfers me to tech support where I get a voice mail. How much do you want to bet no one calls me back.

I don't know if its me. This app has too many bugs, crashes before it can download a complete video and also crashes when I want to view a file from the 900 unit on my phone. great app PLEASE FIX THESE ISSUES. My phone is a brand new LG G4 with No issues.

Was able to connect for about 5 minutes and it suddenly disconnected. Tried two different Android devices and the wifi will not connect. Power off/on all devices still not connecting. When turning off wifi on camera it still shows up as available on multiple devices. Must fix the firmware on the camera. Companies would get better performance if they used blue tooth for connecting instead of using wifi.

I like The idea. the reason i bought the dash cam was because of this app. That says every time i connect to the camera for a live feed i loose connection a few moments later its kinda annoying. Please fix or if im doing something wrong. Im useing a note 3. Cant connect at all over internet. Beginning to wonder if cobra even pays attention to there feed back been having this issue a while looked at there other stuff and noticed others having lots of issues and i am noticing that cobra isnt responding to any

Can only connect phone (Samsung Galaxy S5) & cam sometimes. Most of the time it doesn't work. I specifically chose this cam because of the app. Please fix this issue. Would be great & get 5 stars if this was fixed.

The app is not intuitive at all. It says I am connected to my camera. When I click the settings it just rescans.

Everything was great the first few days, but now I can't connect with the camera. I have a feeling Cobra isn't going to fix the problem. Just another junk product produced to take advantage of the masses. Figures.

I've had no unusual issues. When this app gets ginchy I just uninstall/reload it and all becomes right with the world.

this is worst camera cdr900e and app I ever had. Expected better device from COBRA. Never buy again any COBRA device.

Keep getting wifi message "Saved,Secured" but can not connect. Had to uninstall then re install to make it work but it happened again the next day. Fix please! Ok... everytime this happens I have reset to factory to re connect.. not fun Cobra!!! Please fix the glich!!

this app! I have now given up on you and the cam has been replaced with an M5 wifi dash cam. Anyone reading this review I highly recommend it. You can search it out on Amazon. Cobra products no longer have a place in my cars.

Pretty much WORTHLESS APP AFTER 2 CAMERAS 💥💣EXPLODED BATTERY ,CAN'T CONNECT Wifi screen brk. Sent back to Cobra won't fix defect. Offer of $65 credit towards new dash cam.. unbelievable

Great camera but horrible app, crashes, does not work well usually take the card out and put it in my laptop to review/save videos... They really need to fix it, worthless.. And why does it need so many permissions? Turn microphone on, really?

This app will not connect nor stay connected to the dash cam. Cobra seriously needs to remedy this, as this seems to be the sole reason consumers buy the dash cam. Anyway, cam works great, app not so much. Rough.

App slmost never connects to cam. Wifi is turned on in cam menu but still doesnt connect. Says no cam detected. Have tried restarting both phone and cam no luck.

Locks up on my Nexus 6P. Cannot access dash cam. Please fix as this was a selling point on why I choose to go with your brand over those cheap Chinese OEM knockoffs. WILL UPDATE REVIEW IF ISSUES FIXED

I have two of the same brand dashcam. (Cobra HD) and I couldn't get a single one of them to connect so I can't rate the experience just the app. And for that I give one star 🌟 cause it actually downloaded.

If cobra would have responded adequately to the complaints listed here, they may have a good product. But by ignoring their consumers, they continue to have a POS APP!! Will not stay connected. I ended up returning my product. Thx Cobra, for the wonderful customer support 😝😠😠😠
