DriveNow Carsharing

Some crashes and the app getting stuck caused some serious delays! Not ok! Most of the time it works but when it wants to give trouble it does so with pride. Example not being able to end the rental at times! Finding cars in the area rather ok. Sometimes slow. Would rather have a refresh function to be able to see the most actual information as most of the times it takes ages to refresh on it's own. It has happened that it was showing a car that is not there anymore etc

The idea is nice...however, my app does not have the option "end rental"..had to wait twice for 4-5 mim to lock the car through the costumer service. I hope the bugs will be fixed otherwise I will unlikely use or recommend drivenow. Moreover, my app didn't have the options (as it was supposed to have) to upload the pictures of my license and be able to use the service.

Great car sharing platform. Compared to zencar (poor explanations/faq) or cambio (super high startup cost), the drivenow system is better and great. It would be perfect if it was a bit cheaper than 33cts/min and a cost closer to the other two systems. The mobile app sometimes blocks on reserving a car and does not say why/give a solution but you still have the card as a backup.

Stop annoying me with notifications about special offers. I did not install this to be bombarded with adverts. And since there is no way to disable these kind of notifications in the app itself it has now been completely blocked from being able to send any notifications. Will rather default to a different service provider that does not bug me in this way.

If the car and app do not sync properly to "end rental" they will charge you per every minute until their system flags the car unoccupied about 4-6 hours later. It usually takes at minimum 2 attempts to end the rental. Can't use public parking garages either. Cost 50 euro to have someone come out and manually unlock and release your shopping bags from hostage of Drive Now. The name sounds very fast and convenient but the amount of time you'll spend on the phone teaching their accounting department basic math, common sense and listening to them acknowledge faults in the app but still blaming you for not being inconvenienced far outweighs the service offered. If they do actually issue you a refund for overbilling it's likely to go onto the card that no longer exists instead of the one currently being overdrawn by them on file. Great cars, available, always clean and tip-top. Horrible service and app.

They are charging randomly. Happened to me twice. In the first time they paid it back but it is extremely hard to reach the support via phone. They even don't provide invoices, looks like a dark and cheap move to keep up with the competition. I use a few carsharing providers this is by far the worst - pure frustration.

Ignore less than 4🏅! Customer service quick efficient. Tech support, car availability easy helpful. UI/app easy to use clean. AD's all service related. I have used all top popular carshare apps in Europe. DN is by far the best. Improvements are needed on map load in and working egg timer. System can be buggy when in area of heavy use. But patience guarantees a smooth an awesome experience. Registration can take time. My problems have always been sorted out within 24hr usually less.

If you are looking to a alternative do comute, this may not be the best method. Between register and be able to use the app it can pass some days, and you need to pay in front. Alright that they convert your payment into to credit... But that credit doesn't stay there for long time. To use it you need to make a drive as soon as possible...

Anyone considering to install this app, please run away. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time (and money) trying to use this service! I signed up on the 22.04.2019 and paid a registration fee of 19€. However, I have never been able to use this service. I can never log into my account. And trying to reset my password is useless anyway because the link sent to me by email is always expired. I have contacted the customer service several times in the last 8 months. After answering to all of their questions and trying all their suggestions they forward my case to the IT department and ask me for "some patience" (by the way, they always ask me the same questions and suggest me the same workarounds - a serious customer service should at least log previous incidents/tickets for each of their customers). The reply from the IT service sometimes comes late (2 week or longer) but sometimes it does never come. Moreover, I am a Google Pixel phone user so I always have the most-up-to-date Android version (with the latest security updates). Therefore, I doubt my system/phone is the one to blame. I have used other car-sharing services around the world and, from my experience, this is by far the worst (mainly because they are unable to solve my issue and I have never been able to actually use the service). I am very disappointed with the service. Thanks.

It's like a huge bolshit. yesterday I rented a car that has been parked in the parking. When I want to exit from the parking, a message appeared on the car screen that say use the parking card l. I tried to use that, but it doesn't work. I called the support but after around 10 minutes thay don't answer! I ended the rent and tried to rent another car in that parking, but the same problem happened again! I charged more than 20€ for nothing!

I like the service that Drive now provides. It's is fast, reliable and effective. Although the customer service could pick up a bit faster. And customer should be able to change the journey in the app even while he is driving. Or select it before the driving starts.

The future of car sharing has arrived! Okay, not quite but a great start. Overall, this is a more polished experience than ZipCar but comes at a slightly higher cost. The fleet of cars are of a very high standard too. That mini convertible is a joy to drive! Hopefully they'll keep expanding the operating areas.

Extrem slow and buggy. It took four minutes to close the car. Without any notification they charged 12,30 Euro. I don't know what for. I still have free minutes. Invioce details and Account information are working sometimes. Called the hotline to find out more but 15 min waiting time. Overall bad experience. Pluspoint: Many cars available.

DriveNow is a good system I use a lot but in London lately we've had too many problems with 'system error try again later' outages where you cant reserve a car and customer service lines you don't get an answer from. Not good when you've already bought a minutes package. Plus when I lost my card, they charged £12 to replace it and blocked me using the service for days.

There's no immediate and obvious feedback for success or failure when I enter the pin. The pin dialog also closes unexpectedly sometimes. Cannot download the list of cars sometimes. I cannot get an overview of where the cars are if I zoom out. Many other small things.

Simply awesome. Very Sleek interface. Would suggest a notification type bar that cn give information on time spent driving and the ability to end the rental. Other than that it is an awesome app, and an awesome service. Can't wait to see it's expansion into other areas of the Lisbon District, like Odivelas or Pontinha. Best of luck and continue to impress and improve!

This is best car sharing company around. Great customer service, 100's of vehicles located within the zone. Very very reasonably priced compared to other companies and all the cars I've used have been in pristine condition. I really and truly have no complaints, I love the app, and how this company operates. One of the most important things to me in regards to Drive Now is the fact that if there ever is any issues, it's sorted straight away and staff in the call centres are polite very efficient and you ALWAYS get through to a HUMAN to speak with after selecting only one or two options. Drive Now.... innovative & excellent

Nice App and cars. But prices are not competitive. Others are much cheaper... ... for this price it is just usable in emergencies. (~12km in the city 1,5h 30€) (Had little problems with cleanliness and parking in underground parking without internet. App does not respond in any way.) Really nice if money doesn't matter.

it was impossible for me to register Drivenow with my german driver license. They asked me to upload Korean license and more to identify me. it took unbelievably quite long time several days. After such a difficult registration, they took registration fee ASAP even though I didn't use their any service. More worse, if you want to make a reservation, they withdraw your money altomatically at the same time, then return it a day later. Frankly, I recommend to use other service if you don't want to get stressed.

Can be a nice addition to your mobility but definitely not reliable, only works like 80% of the time. Can fail on every step of the rental process. Be it reservation, unlock or ending rental, all of these tend to fail too often for this app to be your daily companion.

Woeful experience. Couldn't return my car in an authorised parking spot because the app wouldn't let me return. Spent over 20 minutes trying to return it over the phone, a lot of the time on hold. Considering Zipcar is cheaper and considerably more reliable, there's absolutely no reason why I'd consider this again.

Really bad experience with customer service (Germany). We noticed that the car has a screw in the tire and wanted to inform them that it would be taken out from the offers, but it was not possible to reach them anyhow. The only hope is that the next person who might have tried to use the car paid attention to the warning light on the car dashboard. The app works fine.

SCAM. BEWARE. After paying the 30€ registration fee, I'm waiting for my drivers license to be "reviewed" for over a month, and couldn't use the service so far. They just took my money and did not respond to my email. I see that many reviewers experience this problem with Drivenow... I wonder if someone is preparing class action against them because this is a scam. edit: received a refund after contacting support again.

i had an awful experience. two out of 3 cars I tried couldn't be unlocked (tech issues). Third one was drivable but my rental couldn't be ended. had to wait 20 mins for support to answer so they can end it Now I opened the app and it shows that rental ended by support is stil ongoing. i drove 4 minutes and they're charging me for 2 hours already. This company is a joke
