Better than the drive safe and save app as it is more helpful in giving feedback. You have to calibrate the app when you start driving or it skews results. Don't move the phone once trip is started as it will register sharp movements as 'severe' acceleration and cornering. (Sharp cornering in my garage ... )

(need to self calibrator) other than that it's so very helpful app that helps you be a better driver

Just learning something new, there's always room for improvement with drivers on the road.

Awesome. Better than drive safe app I can't install.

Dax. M. Aug 20, 2016

Totally useless app. It always says I had 1 severe braking each at starting and end points, reducing my overall score to 50, no matter, how safe you drive!!! Another cheap game from state farm!!!!😤😤😤

I like this app a lot, helps me drive better. But I don't like the the averages for my trips aren't always correct. The average of 50, 50, & 100 is not 50... correct me if I'm wrong. Unless it's done some other way please fix.

I am glad this app makes me feel like a better driver. I don't have state farm, but I heard Jake wears khakis. That's pretty cool of him. I hate this app!

This app needs u to hit record the trip, and this app cannot recognize if u r driving or not. I was sitting at my desk and hit record and it gave me a poor score for braking!!! Ridiculous. Can't rely on such an app to tell me how I am driving.

Thought I would try this app again to see if it had improved. Nope. It hasn't. Constantly shows my acceleration as severe. I drive a Prius. I would not be getting 50-55 miles per gallon if my acceleration was severe. I drive with a very light foot on the throttle and keep a close watch on the mpg gauge. Once, it showed severe acceleration as I was pulling into my garage. Too bad, I thought maybe this would be a good app to use occasionally.

There is no way I could drive any better then I did and look at that another 90.

I once downloaded this while living in the suburbs to improve driving skills. Uninstalled it once pleased with results. Now I live more out in the country with far different types of roads and conditions. Now it's a test to again improve driving skills once again. Just gotta have some challenge if I can't do any NASCAR driving. ZOoom!

Kind of fun and keeps you alert of your driving. My only complaint is the app should be smart enough to know when it is plugged in and charging. I should not have to tell it to ignore low battery when it is plugged into the car charger. I also like to see an actual Exit on the app menu for quiting the application.

My scores are always higher than 50, but it's stuck at 50 regardless. Hopefully my In Drive doesn't have this issue or it could cause false readings and lower scores.

I can never get the device to level in my phone holder in my car. The only place I can get it to do so is at an angle in my cup holder which kills my braking score.

I think that they could have more of a description on what went wrong during your acceleration, braking, and turning. This will help people to better understand what they need to correct when driving. So far I've done three trips and my overall score is an 83. the last trip I did I got an 94. I've improved a great deal since my first trip which was an 68.

It would be better if it understood high risk times to be extra cautious like holidays, bad weather, local traffic conditions and audibly announced when those affect score scale. As it is, the uniform scoring system might give drivers a misguided impression about driving in ALL conditions. But also I am concerned that misguided users would try to obtain the lowest possible scores on purpose as a game.

Re: app accounts for drivers attempting artificially low scores. What about drivers who actually drive that way? I got just the truck I wanted, and I want it to last. I drive like old grandpa. In fact, I often wish I had a manual, so I could shift earlier to save engine wear. *testament: before this I had a GT Mustang with 5 spd. I could get 24 mpg, mixed, from a car rated for 22 hwy* So, what about people like me who thought they would D/L the app to see if we were driving as well as we thought?

I really enjoy using this app improve my driving. The submit button stocks sometimes, too. However, I just finished cycling and once at home, I backed my car into the driveway so that I could easily remove and store my bike. Backing in requires driving in the reverse direction, messing up the orientation, which results in a very low score 50. Can you change the metrics so that the system recognizes backing up? And what am I do do with this new low score? It has destroyed my average.

Useful tool keep it clean and drive safe, follow directions, and zero texting.

Ati. S. Jan 17, 2013

Not perfect. Total 3 factors have been record in this app. 2 works fine (any) bit 3rd one always says 50

A. G. u. Jan 23, 2013

Can't save a trip. The app apparently is locked. I can't go back. I used the task manager to close. Samsung Fascinate

Wan. F. Feb 26, 2013

this app wouldn't let me continue past naming the trip. It would not save so I could see the score or whatever comes next.

A. G. u. Nov 17, 2012

Constantly freezes when I end my drive and try to save it, rendering the app useless

A. G. u. Nov 22, 2012

Great way to gage your driving skills. It helped me see where I needed to slow down and work on cornering. Score improved with each trip!
