DBX hasn't updated Win or Android version in years. finally got it to work on a pixel 4a on Android 11. I used a tiny TL-WR902ac router connected only to the DBX. But Android hangs up WIFI unless it sees the internet. So, disable mobile data on the phone. Connect to my tiny router (DHCP is on), but select manual IP, you can't click ok until you type in each IP yourself Android says no internet. Connect anyway and "remember" Android finally left wifi on. Turn mobile data back on.
Unable to use off-line. I would like to be able to edit/set up programs and save them when I'm away from the rack so that I can tx them to the PA2 later.
Only works with dbx driverack systems. Hopefully their driverack stuff is better than the rest of their noisy cheaply made all plastic equipment
Challenging to use as you can only update when online, but internet not required to use with the device. It is a hassle. Not optimized for my newer galaxy tablet
DBX refuses to keep up their software to keep compatible with the latest Android devices, and yet keeps selling the DBX DriveRack PA2 to new buyers expecting updated software--poor ethics!
I get an error that the app was written for an older version of android and is not compatible.
Sick of the thing crashing every time you swap to another app or phone/tablet goes to sleep.
Please update the app so that we can record sound from it.
This does not support my new Samsung S20, please update it asap!!
This device spewing frequency that also help protect the speakers.
needs updates for modern gear
I always find difficulties in tuning it
Bad, does not work offline
I like this aap Its different an another's crossovers
does not work with android
Nice and amazing
it is user friendly
I can't download this app
Best best best. Radhe Radhe
Love it works
I cant open ..IP adress ,,stupid .
The DriveRack app works fine on my iPad but the Android version won't let me unlock the crossover section on a preset such as ST.3WayMono.Sub or copies that I make and rename. This appears to be a bug because I can modify everything else including the parametric and graphic EQs on Android. What a shame. I'll have to carry an iPad to all my gigs until this is fixed.
I use this app regularly with various sound systems. Having ability to make adjustments from anywhere in the room has totally changed the way I work, and it makes it much easier to make little adjustments. Unfortunately like others, I have the problem that when my screen turns off on my device, I have to restart the app as it no longer will display or work properly. I wish this could be fixed! It can be very frustrating at times when a change must be made quickly.
I like the app, but if my phone times out, the screen goes black and I have to start over. Otherwise I would give it a 5.
Love the app however the app crashes when the phone is back from sleep mode.. need to restart the app again. Apart from this issue the app makes it very easy to handle the system
Nicely done. There are few small bugs especially if you accidentally rotate phone it doesn't resize the screen. But otherwise rock solid
The driverack pa2 is a realy nice loudspeaker management hardware. Its usefulness is greately enhanced by the use of this app, PA2 control app. You can arrange and tune your whole equipment while standing at any spot around the venue. That is really great. I can fine tune my settings while perfomance is alredy going on without going to the racks station.
I love thE PA2 now my only problem is that the app keep freezing on my Samsung Galaxy note3.
I just got the PA2 today and I did not have to do anything. ... when I went into discover devices it came up with the pa2 almost instantly. ...
Great hardware but the app has 2 flaws that make it frustrating to use: it requires "search for devices" every time it's loaded instead of just remembering the device I had connected (which by the way is assigned a static IP + a hostname), and it's locked in landscape mode for some reason which is very awkward to use on a phone.
