Pretty much works like it should, only downside I've seen is going on personal conveyance it put me on driving, while going to my destination. I'm assuming I lost signal at some point, but there should be a fail safe to prevent that from happening. I was able to get a log correction done so no worries, but it shouldn't be an issue... That wouldn't happen on paper.

Horrible. I bought new ELD50 and cannot connect to both of them. All Rand support team says it to keep on trying. It's been a week of trying and troubleshooting. Even went as far as buying hotspots to get away from cellular data and still nothing. Don't waste your time and money with these. Now they are telling me they are no longer compatible with IOS devices. Just all around junk.

The app works perfect! It worked good on my I phone but was not able to choose Texas intrastate as hours of service. You cannot do this on a I phone. I purchased a $60 Android tablet at Walmart and not have all options. I do not loose connectivity, the app is accurate and dependable. This is a perfect solution for small fleet owner. I choose this over just trucking and Garmin. I do wish I had WiFi but may upgrade at a matter time.

Will there ever be a time where there's not something wrong with any of these systems. For about 2-4 weeks now I've been getting sporadic internet service from the DC200. The driver connect app on TND740 will connect to any other Wi-Fi internet quickly and without a problem.

Ever since the last update the app is pulling more power then what my charger can keep up with. I have turned off every app in my tablet to try and save battery life. Just doesn't help, barely can make it 8 hours before the tablet dies. When I'm not useing the app my tablet can go days before I need to charge it. As soon as I can I switching to a new eld.

Since the September update my ELD50. Doesn't work properly. It has changed the logs to what it wants. Showed 24 hours off duty even though list of events showed that I worked. Would not recommend this product to anyone. Spend too much time making edits to correct what changes it makes on its own. Keeps putting in driving mode automatically from yard movement and personal conveyance while moving. I have enough to watch and worry about while driving, now I have to worry what is my log going to look like when an officer wants to look at it.

Ran great for two years untill last update now showing off when driving but continues to count miles. Support says its a wifi and data problem but it happens when i have a data and wifi connection. I continue to tell support it only does it sometimes and only since last update. But what do you expect from a company that does not have 24hr support even though 90% of their customers work 24/7..Update to the 21st century Rand there is plenty of others out there that want my business.

The phone app don't even have a night mode. Tap the icon, screen blinks, nothing happens. Speaking of icons, the icon for night mode is way too small and way too close to the other icon for HOS Rules. Needs to have room for that button and make it larger. Both on the phone n the TND 740. The damn thing won't let me put my self on the drive line. Get stupid error message.

This software lay out socks. I have too go on the main server web site too change the time zone. When I do it does nothing. I can't add comments for example period on duty. Or load check. I spent 600 on the pro screen also and usb . Total garbage engineering. The processor is too small and memory is weak. Can't operate camera or anything because it locks up and over heats.

When I first installed this device in my rig I though it was user friendly andwas gonna be easy to work with now Im frustrated with all of it. My setting are not what I set them to be it keeps me on duty when I'm off duty the keyboard wont appear when i open th app the list goes on and on. Sorry but wont recommend people buying this product. Time to make a change

I have been trying for the last few days to get this installed. I've called customer service and nothing. I returned the first ELD 50 I bought cuz I thought it might have been defective. I got another one and the Bluetooth will not connect and the firm wire would not update completely keep stopping at 51%. I guess for $150 I got my money's worth.

Absolutely garbage. Won't stayed paired with Bluetooth takes way to long to buffer the data. Can't ever sign out or log on with out unplugging the ELD50. Customer service is a bunch of morons. That keep telling you the same thing over and over

Absolute garbage. When I try to see my logs it just says blank screen. Whenever you try to open another app it keeps bugging you about andorid auto and locks your phone out. Half the stuff doesn't even work. I bought it last minute and cant wait to return it.

Very easy to use, helps tools while on the road looking for truck stops and other points of interest. Also provides help tools such as low clearance levels ahead. Overall very happy with this app!

So wrote a review just a bit ago and wanted to let you know that I uninstalled the app and then re-installed it and logged back in and it seems to be working again. I wasn't able to edit anything prior to today but I have paper logs to submit. Good luck y'all.

stay away from this NIGHTMARE!! I keep getting mystery violations for no apparent reason. I'm very careful to stay within the legal time limits but this JUNK eld randomly throws in violations both at the end of my shifts and sometimes right in the middle for no explanation whatsoever. I would recommend getting rid of your random mcnally crapp before you get some heavy fines from the DOT

Half the time it disconnects from the eld device and you don't know until you switch to to off duty or on duty. Trying go get help on the weekends is next to impossible,then when your done for the day you have to log out and when you log back in the next day it take 45 min to an hour to turn back on big waste of time

Forced at gunpoint by the feds to use this product. After 6 months of bugs and crashes, finally had a stable build. So of course they stopped supporting that version and insisted I update. Now it won't open. Call your attorney, you'll need one if you're ever inspected by the DOT with this product.

Can't connect to device. Can't log in keeps telling me I'm already signed in on another device then says my credentials need to be checked and reentered. I think I'll be returning this device and not recommending to anyone in the future. Yes I have called customer service and they couldn't offer much for advice except try to log in later.

The App or the device will change entries by itself in order to give you a violation. I have pulled over and stopped before I've ran out of hours. Put in a post trip then go off duty. Come back and it has changed my entry to "driving while the truck is sitting still and then log it as a violation! Stay away!!!

This eld is one big reason why I'm leaving my company. I feel like because of this app I am at a big risk of getting tickets and shut down . Know one seems to understand that when there is a problem we need it fixed asap. Very disappointed in my company for not replacing this app with someone else. And I know there are many drivers in my company that have left or are about to leave. Because of this app.

Bugs have been squashed. It's stable & user friendly, though not quite intuitive. I'd like to see buttons for common chores--fueling, loading, unloading. But, today, this makes ELDs as painless as possible. FWIW, the company-supplied Rand McNally GPS I was using having died (battery prob.), I downloaded the app to my phone, packed it into an APK, put it on an SD memory card & that into a new Garmin GPS. The DezlCam 785 unpacked the APK & now I have Rand McNally ELD running on my new Garmin!

The app is terrible to say the least, have had nothing but issues since the day Allied installed it in my truck, if I had a choice as to which app I was allowed to use it would not be Rand McNally...they made great maps back in the map days but they need a new app designer

Support isn't always available when you need it. It doesn't allow you to do any 8/2 or 7/3 splits anymore. When you're off duty your 14 hrs continues to count down, and the hours you didn't use that day comes off of your 70 even if you started the clock and it was a malfunction issue nothing you the driver did. It doesn't seem to keep up with the new updated mandates. I am currently evaluating my options and beginning to consider other ELDs.

always freezing and needind to be reset. jumps from driving to on duty while driving or will put you back on duty after you have saved off duty status. hard to fix errors manually.
