Drivermatics uses the GPS, accelerometer and gyroscope sensors in your smartphone to record detailed telematics journey data about how you drive your car or vehicle. I would love to leave a review, but I can't, because I can't even get it to register, constant server error messages when trying, web site has vanished, as has the other 2 support forums that came up in searches for the site, to see if I could simply register there, but nothing, I have an important meeting in the morning that I was hoping to use this on route, but time I should have used getting ready, has just been wasted after spending over 1 hour just to see it in my desktop, and register screen. I thought it was going to be great given some high praise elsewhere, but how they could say it's that good, when you look at the feedback here, out of 265 votes (at the time of writing), and what, getting on for half of them are 1 star I would guess (wasted too much time already to play the counting game), and many other mixed reviews between 1 and 3 stars looking at it, have had no end of messing about, and got nowhere, or very limited results, I dare say this was great, but all I can surmise is not anymore at best, as I say, no website to get help from, why list\link to it when it is not there ?
I wanted to like this..but.. Using a recycled Galaxy 3 for nothing but dashcam. App won't recognize external sd card. Says it does...but still records video to device memory. Also won't sync with server.
Crashes my phone every time I try to use it. Apart from that I wasn't keen on the interface. Other apps I've tried seem much more intuitive.
Didn't have one. Couldn't register. No country option. Uninstalled and trying something that actually works. Very poor form considering.
downloaded but can't even register. App will not allow registration will not access country field. tried via Facebook and Google but just reverted to logon page. deleted app !!!!
Unable to register. The new user sign up is faulty. The country selection list box is not active so I cannot start the app.
Useless and will kill your Battery within mins. No support page would ever load. Dont keep the analysis of your driving.
App is working ok, but the account activation link on the email sent does not work, so I can't activate my account!

Poor support after others have reported flaw. Tried to pick country but it looks like pop up box is out of screen.
This has to be the worst piece of written software I've come across, if I could give it less than zero I would.... Get off your backsides and do some work!!!
Does not allow to register via Google or FB ,tried many times but just goes back to the login page again and again ,uninstalled the app
Had it on for 1 hour and it used 1 months worth of data up, the 1 hour journey cost me £40!
Poor. The validation email doesn't work so you can only use trial version.

every step loading.
Like the look of it but even with the screen off and running in the background it uses too much power and memory. Makes the phone run very slowly or unresponsive and will drain battery after about 90 mins even though charging. May work ok for short journey.
Too many things wrong with this app not reliable. Most times recorded isn't saved. Not to mention it doesn't have option for a customer to control the camera .unable to change camera back and forth on the front camera not back. some of the most simple things that should be easier not included
It kills your battery no ends up even with all the options off. Almost lost my phone because of the excessive heat coming from it.
It's a great app and does exactly what's you need it to if you're looking for a dashcam, however....it hasn't been updated in 18 months and has stop syncing journeys to the server so I think it's time to look for an alternative.
