DriveWell
DriveWell automatically detects when driving starts and stops, and uses the phone’s sensors to measure your vehicle’s driving dynamics. It uses low-power sensing methods to reduce battery consumption. The app shows you trip summaries, details on maneuvers, and gives you useful feedback to become a better driver. It also acts a low-power logger of all of your driving trips.
This version of the application supports the DriveWell Tag device. By linking seamlessly with the smartphone app, the tag accurately calculates vehicle maneuvers. The DriveWell tag requires a bluetooth connection.
DriveWell runs in the background and uses GPS. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
A valid registration token is needed to use this app.

I dont like that it takes points off for being parked and texting! I pick up someone for work and ive got points deducted for letting them know i was there. I was parked! It also dosent let you have an optio n to say your not the driver! So i cant use my phone if im a passanger in my own car or someone elses. If i use my gps it counts as " phone usage" and you get stars taken away. If they wanna do that have a gps option in the app.
It is fun to earn rewards for driving. I do feel like their should be some buffer though and that you shouldn't lose a whole star for one short occurance. You can't control other drivers so getting cut off or sudden traffic can look like harsh braking even when its just brief. $10 extra at Target is nice too!
drained my battery more then the 10% it stated by the techie. it rates my drive even when I'm not the driver, just the passenger. Rates my drives when I'm on an ATV... if I could give a zero I would. would be a great app if those few things could be fixed.
I am getting a "please check your internet connection" error. Any ideas how to resolve this? I can confirm I do have internet connection. UPDATE - Support was able to troubleshoot my issue to an ad blocker app causing an error. Thanks!
Does not record any drive, even with all permissions given and app showing a notification that currently drive is being recorded. At this moment, after a week of use I still have 0 km recorded.
This app is garbage . Not accurate at all.. would rate 0 if I could
The app seems to work okay I guess. However the device itself prevented me from connecting to the Bluetooth in my car. Uninstalled it immediately
This app is annoying with these pop ups when not connected. When I am at home I turn off navigation and WiFi.
Works well when you use the notification setting. I really appreciate that it records phone usage.
Can't get the elusive token. There is no way to get a token from the app store and no link to their website. A really poor way to market an app.
Developer very proactive ,can't wait to start using such a well thought up app for this type of smartphone time we live in.Just the thought of using it brings awarenss to all of us knowing how iresponsible we have all become with our devices.

deleted off my phone needs a token to even use the app don't waste your time till its 100% available to the general public for use

In accurate and an excuse for the insurance company to raise your rate. Speed limits are wrong.

Will NOT work with all permissions turned on including my data. Also tried taking battery saver off as well as the optimization and I can't get it to record anything. This is a scam just to make ppl think they can get a discount and then screws you into paying full price. SHOULD BE ZERO ☆
