I gave it 5 stars because drivewyze is highly recommended tool for drivers on the road. the app on the phone works very well, however, I find it very annoying that the phone has to be unlocked to have the heads up and preclear. I feel like it should work all the time that the app is running that way if you don't notice a weight station it still warns you and decides to pull you in or not. either way great tool, very useful.
I have to repost my review because it seems DriveWise is finally getting their act together. I was stuck with their bypass system and had no options but to use it. for three months it was nothing but a headache but now it's finally starting to work. I'm still not 100% with it but it looks like they may actually get it to work the way it was designed to given enough time. still a lot of weigh stations and Port of entries that don't use DriveWise though
Just switched to Keep Truckin. So I was going to sign up with you. But $17.99 seems high. So I might have to shop around. $120 annually seems fair. OLD: I use your service on Omnitracs ELD. But since there's no way for feedback there. I'm putting it here. When I first got your service, it was better then PrePass. Because it works in NV & other states that don't use PrePass. You also used to give Bypass/Pull in much earlier.

Seems to work great, but I don't know why they don't use the Google subscription service! Trying to subscribe on a Saturday during the Coronavirus pandemic is proving to be a bit difficult. If they just used the Google subscription API then it would only be one button press to subscribe... I was finally able to get ahold of them during business hours to subscribe, but I do think it could be way easier. As soon as they add the ability, I'll have to call to switch.
I tried it for a month, it gave me only 2 bypasses. Most times it told me to go in before I hit the first prepass. ☹☹ I gave them another chance and I found out it was part my fault. The company I am least to has an ok rating.
3 stars for now. I just downloaded it. If it works this week I will be buying the full service. As a company driver who's company refuses to get pre pass this could be a great tool for me. Update will be coming On Fri 4/12/21. UPDATE. THIS APP IS FREAKING AWESOME. It works in every state I've been except anywhere that has static scales. Aka weigh in motion. The first few times it did not work I'm assuming that's because the scales needed to get us in the system. But after that. It's flawless.
My company is to cheap to supply us with pre pass I won't state there name RYDER opps.Tried this app first 2 days was a dud but now it's works like a champ.So nice to be going by scales after years of stopping at the same 6 over and over again.
App show pull in weight station before get to the motion pole. Maybe just the trail version but not dig into it if gonna get bypass just get the real thing
I've been using this for awhile now, 4 or 5 years. The startup screen needs a dark mode. Things change, I run it side by side on a tablet with copilot truck to be sure it's running. Even dimming, it's just too bright from being white at times.
I've used the app off and on for a few years. Love the app. I just wish they would work with great wide. Get it a sync with the pedigree. It runs in the background on the pedigree but I've had no luck with great wide. And with their marginal safety score, they really need it
I canceled the Drivewyze subscription because prepass was offering a better service for the price. I canceled on the 7th of March and was block from using the Drivewyze service as soon as i canceled. Drivewyze charge me $17.99 from 7 March to April 7th. Their reasoning for charging me is because i was supposed to cancel before March 7th. So why not let me continue to use the service until the end of the time period that was going to be charged? They just took $17.99 and provided no service.
For those of you that keep saying "I keep getting pulled in"... I did as well with the free trial... Occasionally I got a bypass, but 90% of the time, I received the red light. After buying the full version, I get bypassed 98% of the time... I've been with Drivewyze for years, and won't switch to PrePass...
Im going to rate 1 star since after 3 weeks now the app has been horrible, for me and my other drivers, its not detecting weigh stations most of the time, even with the app open you ride straight into the weigh station with no notifications, sometimes it skips the two miles notification and jumps straight to the 1 mile notification, the agriculture inspection site in florida has been wacked out, some days it give bypass, some days it doesn't even pop up at all...
canceled my subscription today. this app used to work great until the update since up date I have not gotten any bypasses just pull in notices. after three unsuccessful attempts to contact support where they acted as if the problem was on my end , the problem can't be on my end because my end worked fine before they updated on their end. their failure to address this issue cost them a customer today and probably many more cuz I'm sure I'm not the only one having this problem.
A lot easier to sign up than the other main service but I wish the app had giant stop and start buttons on the main screen instead of having to dig in the menu. I'm a home daily local driver so I'm going to be shutting it down every day. It's on my phone not a tablet.
Worse than useless. Only bypassed an open scale 2 times last year. Tries to pull me in making deliveries on the access road. You can tell when my local scale house is open because you don't get a bypass, but you do when it's closed.
I've been using Drivewyze for 5+ years and absolutely love it. I was the instrumental in the company I'm leased to getting Drivewyze for the rest of their fleet. Recently I've been noticing that the app will close by itself and I have to check to make sure its running before I get to the scales. This is the reason I gave only 4 stars. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating.
The app has stopped weight station Notifications. It was working fine for a few months and then all of a sudden now it has stopped working completely. Please revamp your system because it no longer have notifications.
Obnoxious notifications that I can't seem to override or turn off. If I have my phone bluetooth connected to the radio, that bypass notification can be deafening. If I have to mute my phone to use an app, for any reason, that's a serious issue.
I use prepass ( the real deal) for years, have an rate of bypass of 95%, switch to drivewyze and bypass rate was 3% !!! Total waste of time, here apply ....you get what you pay for...back to real deal again and get the usual bypass rate, i run a dedicated line so same scales for both, prepass and drivewyze..... i never read the reviews before switch ....
Was great till last update. Now won't stay running in background and crashes. I can't stand having to restart it. Used to have to close it manually and loved that fact. Fix it or I'm canceling. Why break something that worked well!?
I used to get a bypass all the time, at most of the sites I go through. Now for the last month or so I get the "pull in unless closed." I have a great rating and I should be getting the bypass on all of these sites, but drivewyze customer service says the states dot enforcement has the bypass at 0% well that's fine, and dandy but why would I pay money for a service if it doesn't get the results I want? I know I'm not the only one. Think about this if you're considering drivewyze
Nice app. I'm not to excited about the price increase coming up. I've been having trouble with my app giving me a scrolling wheel then saying something along the lines of can't load services heads up notification only. Even does it in good cellular areas. Still is a top notch service.
Was going to do a 5 star but the last week has been horrible, I get the 2 mile notification then the app closes out and I recive nothing else. Please fix this and I will happily change to 5 star rating. Have been cleared for ALL weigh stations in Flordia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennesse with a 98% rate. Just recently (yesterday and today) was the only time I've had to pull into a Florida scale house in over a month so if you can get this auto app shut down fixed I will give 5 stars.
Had this app before. It was pretty great. Then went with a company that had their own...but if you're a 1099 or Owner Operator this is golden...got a pass for most places...with a heads up for all scales...no complaints...would definitely recommend
Like it works very good. I also like the warnings it gives u by low brights ore shap turns. It may help if there is a option were we can report checkpoint that are not showing up.
Account over 1 year. Got a new phone, of course i installed the app. Doesn't work. Called support, foreign speaking person said phone /app had to be activated together, she'd take care of it. App still doesn't work. Your website says open until 2100est, yet from 1800-1830 est the line goes straight to voicemail. Trying to determine whether or not to cancel....... Since we have now talked and got the issue figured out, i have changed my rating to a 5. Thank you so much for the help!!
For the past two months this app doesn't meet my expectations. Works great in the beginning now I'm the luckiest man at life. I tour every single weight station in the nation. Thanks driveways station. Sorry I meant drivewyse
