HOW TO USE THIS APP MOST EFFECTIVELY:There are several difficulty levels you can choose from. You can take the mock tests in any particular order, but most users go from Easy to Exam Mode. For brushing up on a specific area of the Highway Code manual you can practise driving theory tests specifically for road signs, road rules, or fines & speed limits. There is also a Show Me Tell Me mock test (you'll need it before your actual driving test). Visit your Challenge Bank (Hardest tab) to work on the questions you have missed.WHAT IS THE EXAM MODE?Our Exam Mode (theory test simulator) is as close as it gets to the actual DVLA theory test experience.

Do not download the latest version or any version from 3.0 and up. 3.0 is where they introduced a "Premium" option which basically puts most tests previously 100% free with some ads (but use airplane mode to remove them before launching the app) behind a F'ING PAY WALL. Such a scummy move developers, I used to highly recommend this app but now not so much, so unless you are willing to go through the process of downloading an older version which isn't hard to do, don't bother with this app.
Ignore all the good reviews, the reviews were left when the free app version had all content available. 1. Now the free version has really small amount of tests 2. Other payed version apps have more content and are cheaper. 3. Previous to the last update the app had much more free content. After the update all of the sudden the content is locked. It is very silly strategy.
Good for practicing theory as it has the majority of questions that could appear on the real multiple choice test. Make sure to use other apps/sites too when revising as this app doesn't cover everything, maybe 75%.
This review is for older version of the app. it was so nice, i was able to pass in first go. Thanks team for designing such a good app. I got almost 40 questions as it is from this app. very well explained each answer, so that if the question get twisted then also we will able to answer. Slightly disappointed with latest version which hide almost 50% of question. But, I do understand why. Thanks again to the team.
Very good. Some questions in my theory test were not in the app tough. On the other hand, I believe you'll be able to pass on your theory test without much problems if you practice with this app. Answer every question twice, then answer the challenge bank.
this app is just the app ive been looking for but unfortunately its pretty useless because the mock tests that i do are just questions being repeated and repeated over and over again in one mock test. if they can have the questions be like the ones in the actual theory test then this app will be perfect and will actually help me succeed in the theory test but for now its a not use until improvements applied.
The app was a Free, full-featured theory test app, and it was amazing. But because if the update now half of the tests are behind a Paywall, so don't bother unless you pay for it.
I feel it would have been better to make the app free but with adverts, but nevertheless, it helped me get a pass (although in conjunction with another app that was free and had more content). Thanks!
Mostly good although exam mode stoped when I'd got 43 right. Would be good to keep going and see if you can get 50 out of 50, as the practice tests do. Would a normal theory test finish at 43 questions? Also lots of repetition in the questions sometimes
Excellent! I recommend buying the full version. I have a terrible memory and I used this for a few weeks before my theory test and I passed first time with no problem and this was the only preparation. The DVLA no longer post their questions so there were only four which I did not know but every other question that came up was on this app
Great app the only probblem was restarting the tests after updating. [Lost all data] but all in all great app i only studied on this and i passed first time. I have recommended this to friends aswell. I will still use to learn what i dont know Thanks guys
Great app. Passed my test with 1 incorrect only. I used the highway code app to read the rules and the signs alongside this. The challenge bank concept is very helpful.
Was using it well then it wiped all my progress and locked all the test 2 days before my theory .. thanks alot, there's no chance I'll be able to go over all the stuff I was struggling on .. absolutely ridiculous
The app WAS completely free. Now, it's deleted all of my progress, and locked most of the tests behind a paywall. Really, really scummy move from Elegant E-Learning.
Really easy to use and layed out very well. Worth paying to access the extra questions and exams.
Seems great but doesn't meet my need as doesn't have the voice-over feature which is particularly useful for dyslexics.
Good but some wording misleading. Diagnostic test: Pelican is seperate crossings if offset it is one crossing if in line. Can you load, unload, park on pavement marked by yellow lines, you don't park on the pavement
absolutley fantastic!!! i owe alot to your app and a website i started out on your website and progressed and learned about this app i think it was a really good app i recommended it to my friend and she passes first time and now i have recommended it to my aunt as i feel it helped me alot with passing my test
Best way to learn theory by far. Passed first go even when I thought I'd fail because of my dyslexia. Defiantly reccomend

OK app, but very few questions are free. Value for money is low. Embed ads with free questions would be better.
Used this app for 5 days leading up to my theory and got 47/50... 2/3 I got wrong were street signs so maybe that section could be updated but all other areas are perfect!
Bought via desktop browser paid £28. email said use on Android or iOS. don't have option to login in app except purchase. giving 2 as benefit of doubt.
Don't pay £7 for this, the questions are written differently plus it doesn't cover loads of questions. No road signs, gutted I payed £7 massive con.
Helpful although it gives you just a few set of free questions. Must say, get other driving theory apps in addition to this.

This is a fantastic app to help revise for the theory test. You can start at the easy tests and work your way up to mock exam and you can click on the pictures to see them in closer detail. There's even a show-me-tell-me test for when I do the driving practical. The explanations are really good too and I passed the theory with the help of this app :)
