DRIVR-X Mobile VR

Manitoba Public Insurance is inviting young drivers to get behind the wheel in virtual reality (VR). Through the use of leading edge VR technology, DRIVR-X allows participants to explore a three-dimensional environment in a seemingly real and physical way.

Research shows that young drivers are consistently over-represented in collisions related to distracted driving, impaired driving and speeding. DRIVR-X tackles these issues by giving drivers perspective, greater empathy and better understanding of how their choices have consequences.

Life is about choices. The DRIVR-X virtual reality experience demonstrates the power of those choices in a fun, interactive story that is driven by you. With multiple story lines and outcomes, you decide what happens next.

DRIVR-X mobile version will run on the following (or equivalent or better): Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Google Pixel/Pixel XL, Nexus 5x, Nexus 5, G4, G4 Stylus, G3, G3 Stylus, G Flex2, G Flex, G5, and G2; with 3.5GB RAM, and 150 MB free storage, Android OS 4.4 or highe

Well of course I love it. You need to have a WIFI connection for HD version of this, but it works in Google cardboard.

I don't have cardboard so I can't play this. I do have Gear VR though and would love to see this on the Oculus store!
